- THEOLOGY OF THE CITY
(Considering Our Role In The City)
-----
Door of Hope’s fourth pillar is a commitment to the city of Portland. The Scriptures have much to say about cities, and develop the idea of the city of man in tension with the city of God’s kingdom. How should Christians live as citizens of both cities? What are the unique opportunities that we have as Christians in the city? In this series we explore both biblical and practical truths about reaching urban centers with the Gospel.

Thanks for this.
Wow.... Wonderful! Amen!
Bro. Tim, Satan is coming at you like a lion in some of your comments sections, over trivial, peripheral issues that have nothing to do with the gospel. But you are doing God's work, my friend. Keep it up. Stay humble. Be the man God has called you to be. God BLESS you and your ministry!
im "learning" a lot too, thanks from Uruguay
I'm a gay, born-again stoner for Jesus. It’s hard to find my tribe. The right-wing and left-wing think I'm going to hell. 😂 Matthew 7 says DON'T JUDGE. Rev 18:4 is calling.
Hi pastor I do need your help for understanding Acts 13:48. If God is a God of love, why did he choose just some people to eternal life ? What about Jean 3:16 ? Did Christ come for saving humanity or just an "elite" ? I'm so confused now ... Could you please give me some hints ?
Jessica C. If I can help you you understand, God knows all things past, present, and future, when it says they were ordained it probably means 1 or 2 things: that God knew these individuals would embrace the gospel or they were called to embrace the gospel in order to fulfill a purpose in their community. Much like the apostles were. But of course thats what I interpreted that verse to mean.
18:00 if I may suggest a novel reading, pastor aggressive
