- Some more clips of my 1986 K5 with her top off. So sexy! Gettin on the gas pedal in the mud, and taking it slow in the water to wash off the drivtrain at the end of the day.
I didn't break anything all day. I'll try harder next time.
nice truck!! got to ove that chevy power 5 star
Thats the way to go, D-60s all around im assumin and lockers, hard to get that stuck, nice blazer man, Chevy's kickass.
Blazers are the shit, i love this truck. My dads tryna buy one
Dont forget about the two rear corner bolts that come from the bottom! If you dont know about those you will think the top is stuck for no reason.
I wish i had a blazer. Iv always wanted one since i was five playin with toy ones in the mudd. Lol
@johnboyrebel27 You are mistaken. The K stands for 4 wheel drive and the 5 denotes the "Blazer" or the shortest of the 1/2 ton series truck. K10's were the 6 foot bed pickups and I think the K15 was the long bed. If it was 2 wheel drive it was a C5, C10 and a C15. Then they had 3/4 ton pick ups that were called C/K20 and 1 ton's called C/K30 I think... but I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong too. Cool name BTW.
Dang!! That Blazer is SICK!! It reminds me of my '79 1/2 ton stepside. Big lift, mud tires slinging mud and having a blast!! By the way, are those supertrapp mufflers comming out behind the step bars? Sounds nice!
that thing sounds amazing
Holy shit...I really need a K5 right now...
me and my buddy have 84 k5s love them to death
@iwuzhere202 No the C10 was the pickup version from what I understand and have researched The K indentified the Blazer and C was for the pickup
V10 is just what insurance company calls it
Find a friend to help, get the ratchet set out and you have it off within 15 minutes! It weighs about 140lbs best guess. The first time you take it off the seal between the cabin and the topper will be broken, so plan on taking good care of the rubber seal or plan to have future leaks when you put it back on. I can put it on and off all by myself, but then again I don't care about scratching my paint either. Good luck.
even though this is a year old i just want to say that K5 can be both 2wd and 4wd. the blazer could be both, but the pickup (c/k 10/20) was 2wd/4wd respectively.
i wood love to do some thing like this
I THINK any chevy with a V is just a later model. I have an '87 chevy. It is a "V30" - any other year, it would have been a K30.
Your Blazer is sick bro.
I just picked up an 87.
How big is your lift, and what size tires are on yours?
Sick K5 man, I got an 87 I'm working on right now.
How much lift and what size tires do you run on yours?
Nice truck, I have a 1991... You can get the rubber kits for the top from LMC truck. How long did it take you to clean up the truck after the mud??? =) So far, I've spent 45minutes on mine with a pressure washer after my last trip, and I have more to go... LOL... Ya play ya gotta pay!
looks good
@mrRhwalden How long did it take to wash the mud off? LOL!! ZERO minutes!! Since this video was made, I have NEVER washed the mud off purposefully. Running deep water and rain gets most of it off. Then after whats left dries... it usually rattles off the next time I crank her up. I might have 500lbs of 6-inch thick morter under my wells from 6 different trips... but I wouldn't know for sure. We have a watermelon patch doing well on the dash. LOL!! Finally a question worth answering.
If I am not mistaken... the k5 was chevy's 2wd model. the k10 was 4wd. did you modify a k5 for 4wd?
chevy rules the streets,and the MUD!!!!!
yo what mud hole is this?? it looks like ryc but i could be wrong nice blazer though i have one like it its a 91 with a 6 inch lift and 35x15 super swampers on it and it hauls ass until i broke the front axle at hogwaller.... nice blazer keep mudding

@johnboyrebel27
K5 = 4x4 Blazer
K10= 4x4 1500
C10= 2wd 1500
so on, and so forth.
