Salaam to you brothers. The demise of the US economic power has been predicted & exaggerated for decades. Totally correct. Sanctions on Russia, and negative comments against Saudi Arabia from Biden, has solidified the alliance with China (although I believe China is playing both sides). Brother, the whole world was pretty quick to abandon gold-backed currencies, not just the US. Fiat currencies have their drawbacks, but they are a far more pragmatic alternative. If you want to keep your wealth in something tangible, nothing is stopping you from buying gold.
I don't think that the BRICS countries want to replace the US dollar with another currency. Their goal is to create a multi polar world where all currencies are treated equally. No dominance for one currency.
The lack of knowledge and awareness of the cultural and religious situations in the Middle East among Americans is alarming. It is the absolute best example of the sequence of actions and decisions the U.S. government has committed in every horrific event in the Middle East. They are so self-centered that they are unaware of the full picture of history to this day. They don’t even realize that the U.S. has failed to gain our trust. The impact of the suffering we have witnessed after they portrayed us as the “bad guys” in the mainstream media and their lack of empathy towards our situation is horrific. Iran has been playing a long game to destroy Lebanon, Iraq, Syria and Yemen, yet there has been no real action against them. The political situation is shifting towards Saudi Arabia’s vision across the entire Middle East.

It has happened here, at least twice. During the Revolution, the Continental Congress printed so much money it became worthless. During the Civil War the Confederacy did the same with the same effect. The North would have done the same except for a major silver strike in Nevada I think it was. It looks like we'll be headed for another round of that and this time we don't have the gold, oil, or production to work our way out of it.

Adam Smith wrote in his book ‘The Wealth of Nation’s’ in 1776, that the British Pound was 1/6th silver, the French Pound and Penny was 1/66th silver. The devaluation of the French Currency is what led to so much poverty in pre-revolutionary France - hence the French Revolution!

You wouldn't be in a house comfortable, on the computer bitching about this if it wasn't for oil. Agreed there are other forms of energy that may have been suppressed, but if they were all that great even governments could not have kept that secret forever. Look around you...be thankful. Beats living in a "freedom" zone.
Oil is literally the reason you are alive, like the odds of that statement being false is ridiculous.
As an Automotive Tech, I appreciate that you didn’t mention any French Car manufacturers…the only Peugeot I service grinds pepper.
😂
Funny coment but I drive a 1995 Peugeot 306 and it runs like a Swiss watch. Renaults are all over the place here in Spain, and Citroën had the most innovative car in the 60's. I am not French, and felt like you but have been proved wrong.
New tattoo? Congrats on the million dollar milestone 🎉
Very nice way of explanation. 🤗
“If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their money, first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them (around the banks), will deprive the people of their property until their children will wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.”-Thomas Jefferson
I Love how You are breaking things down
Well said, clear and easy to understand.
Thank you. This has been a very informative video
It isn't nearly that complicated. The US government has clearly stated that oil is no longer in our future. Oil exporting countries are being forced to look for new, reliable customers. Likely, the green movement has not fully thought out the unintended consequences.
Ditching oil in this economy?

So they say, although our government hasn't spelled out exactly what steps we have to take to get there, or what the economic and geopolitical consequences will be.
are you daft. there is no super power without the black gold

If Trump is elected: drill baby drill! USA Black Gold
I can't find that information no where on the internet.
If you’re checking western media outlets then yeah, but if you check on non-western news outlets you can see about it going back a day or two.
Oh my God, the vaccine are safe and effective.
The balloon analogy for balancing US debt is the best I've heard so far

Excellent work as always Andrei. And thank you for responding and putting this together on such short notice. I agree with all your points but I think the dollar’s hegemony as the global reserve currency is eroding a bit faster and possibly within our lifetime. However, never discount American ingenuity and let’s just say our “craftiness”.
Thank you! You may be right, it could be much faster than I think, I wish I knew
Love how simply you explain
Corn. The US is the world's largest producer and exporter of corn, although Brazil surpassed it this year after 50 years.
China is ditching the us corn too. Probably they will buy Brazil one.
Great explanation Andrei, thanks!
