I think this platform is so much better for you Don! You can ask the questions you want to ask and don’t have to plead and beg some executive to do just that. I think the days of watching news or politics on TV are numbered! There is more freedom and easier access to the public on line!

The problem I have with news from, by and through social media is “Fact Check” there aren’t any. There are certain standards in traditional news, not saying it’s perfect by any means. Give an idiot a microphone and you’ll get an idiotic disposition on every damn.

That is a hook. Back in the day, having a GED was like a PhD today. Common sense has and has always been valued over book sense or going along with the crowd. When you have a memory of having gone through experiences that changed your environment and see how decisions by others have changed this nation, common sense is still valuable and sadly not being used or valued. I am straightening my GED now.
Unfortunately, as always, I hear a lot of complaints, but no substantial concrete solutions.

I did not know they passed a law making it illegal to learn about the history of slavery, I want to make clear that I strongly disagree with this and belive you should be calling more attention to this unjust law DL explained in the interview!

DL has been one of my Favorites for years! His take on Politics is spot on, for me!
You just have to realize - even if they NEVER say it- most Whites believe that Blacks are sub- human! ....The Constitution STILL has Blacks as being 3/5 sub human!.... Even tho the "Founding Fathers" - raped & reproduced w/the Slaves! I would bet- that most Whites - would give a dog mouth to mouth resuscitation - before they would a Black person!!!

Out of the gate, this interview was funny, truthful, and educational. Whenever I listen to DL Hughley, I walk away learning something new. His perspective is insightful and thought-provoking. I love truth-tellers; and that he is.
Side note: I love how Don Lemon (the other DL) isn’t afraid to ask hard questions even to the people he respects.
Thanks for sharing this conversation with Mr. D.L. Hughley, I understand his perspective on the current issues, pros & cons. Bottom line we must vote for the future of our children, it's a no brainier.
That part of the interview gave me so much clarity about what is happening and what we need to do without losing our humanity for others.

When I was going to comedy shows to see DL, I never realized how intelligent he was.. If more Black people would listen to Black men like DL instead of rappers ...Black people would be better informed about issues and voting their best interest. Also DL is right about Black people living in Red States ..many Black people do not vote because they have no chance of winning statewide elections and with gerrymandering the number of Representatives for minority districts have been reduced.
