Off-topic sorry but I'm wondering Roland if you have any content specifically about your experience running Power BI on the M3 Max. I have an M2 Pro 16Gb/1Tb with Parallels but surprised how it lags. I copied the Parallels virtual machine to a friend's M3 Max w/36Gb and it flies! It's an expensive upgrade so I'm interested to know if you have anything to add esp about your setup. Thx.
TBH I moved from a VERY beefy video editing machine to M3 Max so I can only talk about my experience with this. As you said I havent had any hiccups so far with it running Power BI Desktop inside Paralells. I assigned 32Gb RAM (half of the total) to it and even when I worked with the largest models it does better than my PC with 128GB RAM
Did you know you can use Field Parameters for such a problem? Let me know!

Thanks, but I have a question, what if I had to show dates in descending order in the timeframe parameterized table? can we do that?
You can! But not by this technique. Have a look at the links in the description box.
