I’m planning a patio, fire pit and walkway, so I’ve been watching videos for a couple of weeks. Yours are hands down the best! I’m good at discerning who uses best practices when I’m learning a DIY process. You are the man for sure. I don’t have any questions. You are a great teacher. I have no doubt I’ll do a great job thanks to you! THANKS and keep making videos because you are really good at it!! 👍🏼
Thanks for this awesome feedback! I’m glad to hear the videos helped. I love this work and I love sharing it with these videos. Good luck with your project, helping DIY’ers was a big reason I started the channel. ✌🏻
Great video. I'm getting ready to lay 1200' of that same paver. 1 tip that I would add to your video- We use a backpack sprayer to set the polymeric. This gives a little more control and helps prevent washing the polymeric out of the joints and pooling on the pavers. Again, great video !
Hands down probably the best paver videos I've seen. And I've seen alot. You make it look so easy but I only have a small job to complete at home. Wish me luck. Subscribing.
Thanks for the support brother! take your time and think the project through, im sure it will come out excellent. It is all about research and applying the best techniques you can find. Good luck! ✌
I'm not sure I want to go through the issue of polymeric sand deterioration and now considering just using regular paver sand. Is there specific application reason for not using regular sand between the Techo-Bloc Eva paver joints if not concerned about weeds and insects? Thanks
Is there a "standard" width for walkways with the blu 60's? Or a divisible number to use to figure out how wide I can be. This walkway layed out perfect with no cuts. That's what I'm looking to achieve and im wondering if, for example 4' or 6' can be used as a repeatable width with no cuts. Hopefully you understand what im trying to get at lol
I have a couple questions. I notice that the pipes aren’t all the way to the edges when you level it. How do you level the material on outside of the pipes. Also, Is it good to have the material under the paver stones go past the paver stones to help with support or end at the edge of the paver stones? Just trying to learn. I really appreciate your videos and look forward to more.
So the material that is further than the pipes still gets leveled as you screed, sometimes minor adjustments are needed when you install the border pavers... And excavating / backfilling at least 6 inches past the end of the pavers is always recommended. Glad you like the videos and thanks for the support! ✌
How do you decide whether to lay your border pavers parallel or perpendicular to the field? Not sure what I like more and I'm pretty sure ive seen you do both. Just curious if you have a preference or how you decide that?
Okay that's kinda what I figured. I like them how they're done in this video on bigger patio's. I think I like them parallel for smaller projects and walkways. But they both look great!
How much would you charge for a project like we are a new company and still trying to figure are numbers any help would be appreciated!!? From one Christian company to another thanks for the content and information !
Hey Stephen, it’s tough to sum up an average cost for this work… but paver installs are normally $23.00-$30.00 per sq ft which covers excavation, backfilling, screeding, laying the pavers, poly sand and concrete edge restraint. All the landscaping around it are add one, charged as separate line items ✌🏻
@@TheChristianHardscaper is the $23-$30 per square ft a labor price only or does that include the materials? And do you measure an area first to get an idea of the amount of materials you will need? I know they may be obvious answers to these questions for some but I’m just learning and you seem to really know what you’re doing. Thank you sir.
The price includes everything from excavation, backfill, laying pavers, poly sand and concrete on the edge of the pavers. Lawn repair from excavation and for around the patio / walkway is a separate line item. ✌

Thank you, thats alot of pavers....LOL Sounds like a good project. The back pack sprayer is definitely a good idea. God Bless! ✌

You guys do a great job 👍💪. I like your video's.
Glad you like them, I appreciate the support ✌🏻
Do you prep the ground to a slant so water rolls down to the driveway? Or is it flat when laying the pavers?

Do you prep the ground to a slope so water goes towards the driveway?

Honestly, that is typically up to the customer. I let them decide what border style they prefer.

What's a job like this cost?
Nice quality pavers. What's the name of that pavers
They are very nice. They are made by (Techo-Bloc) and they are called (Eva). The border pavers are called (Hollandstone). ✌
