Look, right. I tried. There's a bit of a camera focus issue in places, and I've somehow added about 20 seconds of black screen to the end of this one. But I've also made you a free biscornu pattern so shush 😉 Bagsie the pattern at: ko-fi.com/s/b2d98d4ca8
I enjoyed learning about this darling item and how to construct it. You are delightfully precise and have good stitch technique. My sister is a speedy but messy sewist...I am slower and distracted by untidiness. 😂 😂
working on this right now. Thanks for the tutorial. You take something that looks complicated and make it simple and easy! Also sharing this in the stitchy groups im in on facebook.
Thank you for showing me again how to do this. I made one two years ago for my sister with a sea theme and I need to make one for me, although a bit bigger than what you showed.
You are the wierdest (in a good way!) and the coolest XS youtuber and my fave by far! Love your channel... Keep up the awesome work! And thanks for this wonderful free pattern x
First of all, love your channel, your wit, and your creativity. Why you have so few subscribers is a mystery. I will be sharing your channel with my stitchy friends and hopefully word will spread quickly. Thanks for the freebie pattern.
I agree with Kathy! Your videos are so fun. And your "tutorial" on how to make a biscornu (you can't say it, I can't spell it LOL) looks uncomplicated. I am going to make this! Thank you!
That's how they get you! One day you're just lebening your Leben, happily oblivious, and the next you wake up NEEDING to understand about biscornus. That's what happened to me, at least! Happy to help :D
@@TheGiddyStitcher I'm just now watching ElizabethAnnCanStitch's latest video and she finished her first biscornu, too... I was just so happy when you said: "What do you do with it?" - "Put it somewhere and marvel at it" Yes... thank you... :-D
Thank you for a great tutorial ! I'm starting my first biscornu :) Thought I would start by making a prototype before cross stitching a pattern. This video is super ! Great film work and instructions !
So cute! I've seen other people talking about them, but never seen a tutorial. It doesn't seem as intimidating as I thought. Will have to reference your vid if I ever decide to make one. 🙂
Kim and Jade of Small Town Needleworks on Flosstube recommended your videos for the content and your editing skills. They are right - you do a great job! Thank you for the Halloween biscornu pattern! Halloween is my birthday and I'd rather give out candy to the trick-or-treaters than go out to dinner. 🎃
Oh that is so sweet of them, thanks for letting me know, I totally missed it and will have to pop over and say thank you! And you're very welcome for the pattern, even though it's a bit unseasonal now I hope it can bring you much spooky joy next year. Halloween is such a cool birthday, a ready-made excuse for a party if you want it, or you can just spread some fun with the candy, ah that's the perfect setup :D
Hello. I know this is an older video but, I was curious if you had any interest in releasing any more of these. I would love to see some in gamer themes, like Stardew valley or Animal Crossing. Thank you for making and sharing this great pattern.
Great tutorial! I admit I've always been a little bit intimidated by biscornus. They look so complicated that I've never bothered to read the assembly instructions. Thanks to you I think I will be giving this a shot...add it to the WIP pile 😉.
They do look complicated! I woke up one day a couple of months ago with the sudden and inexplicable urge to find out once and for all how they work, and now here we are. Glad I can help others 😁
Thanks! I'm glad you're finding them helpful. All of the patterns for videos like this are linked in the relevant video descriptions and you can find the bunch at ko-fi.com/thegiddystitcher/shop 🥰
Thank you very much for this free pattern and tutorial. I've started stitching the pattern but don't seem to be getting the same coverage as you. The pattern doesn't specify so I've been using two threads of each colour except for the glow in the dark, of which I've been using only one thread. What number of strands do you recommend?
Hi! I'm so sorry for not specifying, but actually my example is also with two strands (including the glow in the dark). It was on 14ct, is that the same as yours? I'm not sure what the culprit would be if you're using the branded DMC floss, but I know other brands have varying thicknesses.
@@TheGiddyStitcher thank you! Yep, 14ct using DMC floss. I suspect its because I've used only one thread of the glow in the dark that my goats look a bit see through... But that's okay, I'm taking that as intentionally done! 😁
Well ghosts are pretty see through in real life too so I guess all's well that ends well! Thank you for the heads-up though I'll be sure to add it to the pdf 🙂
Aw thank you so much for asking! I _believe_ it's fixed to the creator's local currency but should convert to your own before checkout so you can see a more accurate amount. Whether you decide to send anything or not I hope you enjoy the biscornu pattern! 🧡

Awesome video! 🧡🖤 I'm going to try to make this adorable biscornu (pronunciation notwithstanding).😁 It'll be my first!
Seriously someone tell me how to pronounce that word 😭
Good luck! It's easy I promise!
