- Day two in Texas and I'm heading to The Burger Barn in Bay Town, to have a pop at their 'Monster Burger Challenge'...
Ten half-pound burger patties, cheese, lettuce, pickles, onions and mustard, accompanied by a surprisingly meagre portion of fries...eat it in thirty minutes or less and it's on the house and you get a spot on their actually pretty chocked wall of fame!

Q: How come you don’t get fat?
A: I eat like this for 1 hour of a 168 hour long week. In simple terms, I eat at caloric maintenance over the course of time, meaning I don’t gain weight. If you're interested in learning more, see the ‘But How Come You're Not Fat' and 'It Was Just A Normal Day...' videos available on my channel.
Q: Don’t you worry about your health?
A: Not in particular. I’m active. I eat nutrient dense foods five days a week. And, I get quarterly bloods done, amongst other health checks.

Because they usually tell you to eat everything on the plate that's why I thought it was kind of weird too
One of two things, as a fellow Brit I can confirm we love a good moan, so he was disappointed he never got to have one. Second one could be that he has become a glutton for punishment lol
it just felt a bit odd to have something substantial on the plate that was not included in the challenge is all

Very surprising about the chips because any time I’ve tried any challenges like this they give you an ungodly amount of chips because they know how hard it is to force them down! Fair play to these guys and as always, Beard conquers.

I love how you sneak in the last 2 or 3 seconds of footage after the credits. A lot of the time it's the funniest bit like this one.
As i click on the latest bmf I wonder why do I watch these vids each time. I’ve realised for me it’s got nothing to do with the food - though I do like the challenges. The reason is because Beard just has a good energy and provides me with an escape from everyday stresses.

Literally been my go to channel while dieting... every time i feel hungry i just watch you eat ridiculously large portions of food and it somehow makes me feel less hungry but also... still hungry at the same time lol, 8 months and 5 stone less later i still come back here XD

Baytown Texas is were I've spent 90% of my life. We used to have a bait shop in Brownwood subdivision. Hurricane took our home and then the power cats of the city took our community. Great to see the Fred Hartman bridge again.🤠👍

We had some people protest on that bridge by hanging off of it on ropes and stuff just a while back, I think protesting our oil refineries. They're gone, we still getting that oil for Merica 😀

I literally grew up here! I lived just two miles down 565 from the Burger Barn! The mention of the traffic was hilarious because there's a Bayer plant just a block away from that place.

I’m on a diet of 2 slices of toast a day and 1/2 a tin of baked beans a day because over the last two years I have got to 17 stone. A fat bstad you might say. 3 days in and this video does not help one bit.

@@Vile_Entity_3545 What kind of diet is that? About 150-300 calories of bread with 20-50g of carbs and then baked beans? Your eating 200-400 calories of beans? Idk if you have a medical condition but maybe treat your self to a better diet.
@@Vile_Entity_3545 fruit smoothies, whole grains and cutting out sugar, excessively processed foods, cheese and meat(probably wasn't neccessary) helped me to lose weight pretty efficiently. Even when i was taking in alot of calaries (about 2500 to 3000 calories per day) i managed to lose weight even thought i was never hungry(i think that the ridiculous amount of fibre i was consuming was the reason).
I did have to start packing weight on again because i didn't realize how skinny i was actually getting on account of being overweight for so long.
Best of luck on your journey tho.

The first challenge I've seen him do I think is actually possible. Usually, the fry requirement just makes it seem impossible to me.

Hey I've actually done that challenge. Me and my ex attempted that challenge back in 2018 at the Rosenberg location. We (combined) got to literally the last patty and bottom bun before we tapped out.
Love the Curb Your Enthusiasm tee - one of the classic episodes. It's interesting to see snippets of places that tourists don't hang out in random US states.
