Stephen Curry led Team USA with 24 points (6 3PM) and 3 rebounds, while Bam Adebayo (17 points (3 3PM), 8 rebounds, 3 assists) and Anthony Edwards (16 points (2 3PM), 3 steals) combined for 33 points in the victory. Nikola Jokic tallied 16 points and 11 rebounds for Team Serbia.

It’s a business. More people watch and go to the games the higher the score. Unfortunate for purist. So more penalties if you slow the game and prevent scoring. NBA could be physical, the money just doesn’t support allowing it to be that way because the consumer dictates.

Jrue knows how to defend curry off ball, so when he notices Curry drifting to the corner, he crashes hard to pull the closest defender towards him. Bam passed the ball at the perfect time, which allowed Jrue off the cut to swing it back to Curry, waiting in the corner alone. Thats masterclass basketball by all 3 of them.

AD’s inside defense and Bam’s help defense/outside scoring is going to take this team to gold. I love their rotations together. Kerr is wise for having them come off the bench. That front court is deadly. Embiid hasn’t been the best starting but he is having positive +/- boxscores and it’s better to have a dynamic bench center play than starting when playing against bigs like Jokic. That’s how the lakers beat the nuggets in 2020. Their depth with Howard and McGee set the tone and AD did all the little things on offense.

When it's pressure time in the semis/finals if the 3s are falling for the USA Team it's game over for the rest of the world. Before teams just load up and clogged up the paint and used their size on the USA team. This year's USA team has both size (AD, Embiid, Bam) and talented shooters (Curry, Booker, KD, etc)...and now the wings can do their thing with the defense opening up (Lebron, ANT, Tatum etc)...
