I’ve somewhat known a few JWs and I have to admit that one scared me. Obviously, it’s difficult to really know one unless you’re one of them. However, one that I knew was my hairdresser and she was nice and I wish I could find her to do my hair again. Her spouse wouldn’t acknowledge me, but maybe that was just him.

Yeah but he was most likely too immature due to his parent's, I've known quite a few jehova's witness and one thing I had been told is they were never really taught morality and ethics, they were told what was allowed and not allowed by the church and even if they were moral agendas they weren't taught why they were rules just that they were the rules

Chris Longo could have been a successful politician:
    ☑️No skills except personality
    ☑️Lying is 2nd nature
    ☑️Absent of Conscience
☑️Self satisfaction and aggrandizement is above all else
    ☑️Soul-less
    ☑️Heart-less
    ☑️Narcissistic
    ☑️Socio-path
    Yep, that about covers it!!

I was too I don’t think of it as one, I just think they are too strict, only thing I can say is growing up in it made me uncontrollably sad to the point we’re I wanted to hurt myself, no one said anything they just pushed me down, once in a while I try to go back because I miss my childhood friends and the older people, but it’s like I don’t fit in anymore, like I lost something once I left, my family that is still apart of it doesn’t really call me to check up on me like they use to, they would only call me to “study” or come with them.

I could only hope that this episode didn't hasten the heart attack that took him away when I was only 9, but after that Granny had his entire basement office cleaned out & all JW material got the File 86 treatment, & we all "shunned" them with the quickness. • @Pulapaws
      @Pulapaws 3 роки тому +3

I do not see now JW factor in this case it all. Any church, beliefs, school and government system can become abrasive and kill a lot of plp (Hitler, etc). It happens when plp do not stand up for with us right and just follow orders. The Bible clearly tell everyone to make the truth your own and do not follow a crowd to do evil or not right. The government and the Bible says you shouldn’t steal but this man stole. The Bible and the government says you shouldn’t murder. JW don’t tell you to murder or steal and to be honest with you I wouldn’t want to hang out with a person I know is a murder and a know theft that keep on doing it. In our government that lock those people up for a reason and punish them and do not let them take part in society. I am not a JW but it not like Jones Town when it comes to this case. They disowned him when he was doing bad. Like the Bible says it hard to feel sorry for a snake charmer bite by his own snake. In other words it wise not to hang out with bad people. There was a man in Montgomery that was killed by the state bc he had a fiend that was a criminal and he shot and killed a cop, I do not believe he should have got death bc he didn’t shot no one and didn’t know the cops when coming to his house. However, he put himself in a bad spot by hanging out with a criminal. I seen a lot of plp ruin they life by hanging out with the wick many having they lives cut short.

Of course my father did not convert and only showed up to the “memorial” (essentially Passover). We were threatened to be “disfellowshipped” because of it. Honestly, how does he maintain this level of researched detail AND amazing upload schedule (I dunno if it’s really a schedule, but the rate he puts out content blows me away considering the depth he he goes into.).
Like, he doesn’t just read a true crime website summary and turn it into a slideshow. Sometimes it seems a person could only gather so much info by reading multiple books on the case and doing independent research. That would take me so long to do and that’s just his prep for the videos, never mind the time and effort of actually recording/editing them complete with visuals and video clips. He obviously takes his job seriously and takes pride in his work.
It’s on par with television series minus the silly reenactments. And he actually speaks un-repetitively at a good clip packing more info into five min of narrative than an entire episode of one of those shows, while keeping it respectful by telling the story without hyping up the drama-for-entertainment. It’s just…outstanding.

What a monster. The way he killed the two younger kids is beyond cruel. Forcing them to drown.

The scariest thing is that Chris reminds me very forcefully of my ex. He used to do a lot of things financially to try to get money that he really didn’t have. I could imagine my ex doing this exact thing in this situation.

Literally my grandma took me and my toddler little brother to the Oregon coast and we were literally in a hotel right next to where they found the bodies! I remember watching it on TV and my grandma chain-smoking cigarettes and holding me and telling us it was going to be okay. I just kept getting so creeped out that the bodies were right outside our hotel.. I saw the crime scene tape and as a kid it really impacted me. It made me pay attention more to my surroundings, be more observant and find interest in true crime.

@@aishabush1655 oh it's something I just wanted to share because it was just one of those way too crazy set of circumstances to not share it here kind of things. (I really feel for people who were affected by this atrocity, I just can't believe this lined up with when my grandma took me to the coast. Plus our hotel door looking right out to the water, right where they found the victims bodies.. just a totally crazy thing. Living in Oregon you just don't feel like something like that would happen since it's such a rare occurrence)

Deadbugsays is another top notch true crime channel. It's a bit more abrasive and less sugar coated, not for everyone. But there's no just liking that channel, can't help but love it! Or hate it, I suppose. No in the middle, at any rate.
