  • I did this range test primarily to help you guys decide if this is the scooter (Nami Burn - E Viper) for you, specifically if the range is your most concern. I used full throttle Eco mode almost all the time here and the C mode or gear 4 whenever I had to climb some hilly roads and kept a certain distance from other vehicles for my safety.
Also, this is to test my own scooter to see if it's capable of covering the distance that I am planning to travel for the future videos which you will definitely see here soon. 👍😁
Let me know what you wanna see here :)
Personally, I'm extremely satisfied with the result. It exceeded my expectations tremendously. Though this ride took 4 and a half hours, it didn't hurt my body. Just felt exhausted because I was standing for hours. But thanks to its suspensions. It really helped lessen all the vibrations. It's one of the best features of the Nami Burn-E Viper that you could relish on long trips.
The full review of my own experience on my Viper is coming soon :)
Hopefully you'd enjoy this video. A comment of smile 😀 means you appreciate this.
Your like and subscribe will tremendously help my channel to grow and help me create more videos for your, so thank you so much.

Thanks for the great vid and range test on the Nami Burn E. Looking at getting either the Nami or Wolf King GT (I too look for "Range" 😁) Lot's of range tests on the Wolf King GT but not many I could find on the Nami so I appreciate your effort. I believe they changed the name now to the Burn E Max and have dropped the Viper name.

Thanks very much mate. I'm glad my vid helped you. Both are excellent scooter. I own a Nami but also admire the Wolf King GT. They have different pros and cons. So just check closely which one is better according to your lifestyle and riding style. And since you are checking the range tests of both, I assume you travel long distances for fun rides or commute. Then the Nami is the better option. My legs weren't very tired after this range test. The King GT has hard suspensions which isn't comfortable for your long rides. I recommend getting the biggest battery version of Nami. 40ah. But I've read a post that some countries have 50ah versions. If my 35ah got that result, I couldn't imagine getting that 50ah batteries emptied. 😅😁

@@scooterontravels6777 I live on a hill so battery gets pretty beat up around here going up and down hills. My current scoot has 18.5ah battery so range is very limited as it is and the hills cut it in half.

I’m interested to know why you only charge to 90% and run to (did you say) 20%?? Is there a technical reason, I’ve read a few articles about battery management and they’ve never really said anything about not running low or charging full.. Great video.. was a great non commercial view of Thailand and I really enjoyed that aspect.
    Cheers

For lithium batteries its suggested for longer battery life and health keeps it charged beetween 20-85%, on average you get 500 charges out of these quality batteries howeven fully draining and overcharging reduces to batteries overall lifespan.

Congratulations for the video! In the summer I do 100+km trips every day. Until now I have used a boyueda 28ah which allowed me to do 110km. Soon I will take nami 40ah. In your opinion, if I go at a constant 20/25km/h can I do 150km? Weight 60kg

I had the shop installed it for me. Just a few bucks. Adds security. 😃👍

      Hey @Carbonio I like your videos. I'm a fan 😀
You've mentioned in your video that you probably have a different brand of batteries. That might be the issue. Is it 35ah? I don't think your weight has a big effect on your range. I think it's the battery.
Mine is one of the first batch of the Nami. I have 35ah battery with Panasonic name on it. I normally get 80km of range if I drive really fast. Like 50 to 80+ kmh. What I did in this video was ride in eco mode 34 to 39 km/h top speed. I was on full throttle all the time. Except in the stop lights where I used C Mode or gear 4. I used it to keep my distance from other vehicles and accelerated faster in stop lights. I did that many times in this video and I was worried not getting my goal of 90km. But I was surprised to get 111km. That was actually my second attempt. My first was 107km of range. I am 76kg. I think you'll get almost similar result or 90km at least if you have Panasonic battery.

Wow 60km is a lot. I can only get 52km.

    • @scooterontravels6777
      @scooterontravels6777  2 роки тому +1

60 or 52km of range on the Nami is hard to get. Because you'll always get higher than that. I think even if you're hammering all the way. What's your weight? And what size/brand of your battery man?
I will try to do a range test again on the Nami Viper, but I will go as fast as I can and see the results.
8 months ago I went 30km and almost full throttle. That's the time I got 87kmh top speed. Then I checked my battery, I still had 73% after 30km. 😳😹

Hey buddy. Couldn't find same sets of side mirrors that you could get to Philippines. The headlights are just 6 bicycle lights which you could get easily online.
Similar to this. Kinda pricey but if it adds to your safety, nothing is pricey. ☺️

Yup! But because of the slow moving traffic. Cars and other vehicles are still safer to drive faster. I could drive faster on my scooter 80 to 100km/h but it won't be safe for me, pedestrians and other commuters. We need to drive safely all the time 😄
