I don't care who sang it first. Shane's version is and always will be the best, I'm going through a pretty rough time right now and Shane is the only person who is getting me through it. I will never forget the day I met him at his book signing, my hands were shaking and my legs were shaking, when I moved along the queue and stood up beside him, I couldn't even speak to him because I was so nervous but he never judged me once, he just told me not to be shy and then he pulled me in for a photo. All my life, humans have judged me and let me down, rejected me and refused to accept and love me for who I am, just recently, someone who I gave everything to and loved more than life told me they couldn't be with me because I wasn't the person they wanted me to be, this came after 5 months of them saying they loved me and would never hurt me but they have ripped my heart from my chest, stamped on it, put it back inside and now every time it beats, it ricochets of my chest and breaks into a thousand more pieces. Shane would never do that to me or anyone, I met him for five minutes and I know that he is such true and genuine man. In my opinion, Shane Steven Filan is too good for this world.
