Abhishek Sharma had a lot of work done for him by Yuvraj Singh and Brian Lara. Also big ups to Daniel Vettori and his coaching setup in domestics that have molded him into the batter he is.

the guys like 25 years old... how can he be mentored by all these blokes😂... Give Sharma the credit...he might have looked up to those mentioned guys but to say that 7 people mentored him to be the player he is ...at this age is absurd
@roshh4909 dude if at a young age, if you have been looked after by the legendary players like Laxman, Dravid, Lara & Yuvraj. Imagine the kind of exposure and knowledge & experienced he would have got at such a young age.

All he has to do is dominate the power play until he gets out. If he gets out early, more often than not I think they'll still be in a decent position to score runs as a team. If he is still in after the power play, just wave the white flag cause India probably scores 220+.
Abhishek verma is way better than stat padders like kohli and Rahul. Anyone with common sense knows that a 30 off 13 is more effective than a 56 off 40 by kohli / rahul. They waste 7-8 overs that could be maximized by other batters. Because in t20s the anchor role is a scam. Teams hardly ever get bowled out on flat t20 pitches
Before commenting about Kohli , mention word NOW a days ,because Kohli played all his t20 games in times where 170-180 is a good score and Kohli won games for india single handily, but times changed now a days par score is 200-210 there is no role of anchor nowadays, and just a reminder Kohli retired from t20 internationals I think that makes you happy because by looking at your comment you don’t like, but have some f*king respect towards players who played for country,
@@Msgaming6935 It's funny how his absolute t20 peak in 2014 and 2016 editions didn't get him the trophy but his anchor innings was just about enough for India to get over the line in 2024 t20 world cup. This sport is funny at times.
