Such a fun episode! It was really interesting hearing Noahs story about the Freemasons. (For context I’m Canadian) My Grandpa was apparently part of them at one point, but I haven’t heard much more than that, and they don’t even go to church or anything, so I don’t think he’s that hardcore religious anymore. But also, I just graduated from guiding/scouting which I’ve been doing since I was 5 years old, and we always rely on placed renting out space for us to meet. It’s usually schools and churches, and this past three years we were at a Presbyterian Church that had a Masonic Centre sharing our parking lot. So sometimes you’d see a hoard of men in fancy black suits, black tophats, and black briefcases walk into the building. I was always curious what exactly their deal was.
The Freemasons I have met were in rural Indiana, it was just a local business and community fraternity, like the Rotary Club or the Lions Club. They network with each other and promote local business ownership, sponsor little league teams, and hold charity 5k runs. I have never understood why some people think they are more than a club. They are a little backward and old fashioned, but their goals are literally community improvement. I predict that as membership becomes younger, they will be more accepting.
I really loved this episode! I was entertained by Noah's stories and conspiracy theories and his ability and personality to just be able to connect with strangers. We need more episodes with him!

Funny story. I was talking to my friends about our school experience and bullying and I told them I was never bullied. Some girls kept being mean to me throughout school but my older sister would tell me they were jealous so I brushed it off and their behaviour would weirdly boost my ego, because they felt I was so cool to be jealous in the first place. I felt sorry for them as well, because my sister told me jealousy eats you up inside and I never engaged with their comments. I would think something like:"Oh here goes Monica making fun of my clothes again, poor Monica she must suffer because of her jealousy again".I also never processed it as being bullied. All my friends insisted I was and they were cracking up laughing picturing me living my school years with the peace of mind that some girls were jealous and thought I was better and that's why they were mean 😂😂😂 God bless older sisters! she saved me from so much hurt

I still don't understand how flat earthers exist when we literally have a space station in orbit Though I do love Shayne's 'Wisdom of Stupidity' idea he brought up, it might be the exact explanation to these kinds of beliefs

(weirdly enough) Ways of Seeing by John Berger talks about accepting things that are proven facts, even if we don't know how it works! (ex: Earth spinning) and how we can apply it to looking, analyzing, and interpreting art. Of course it is muuuuuuuuch deeper than this. But yeah. I thought it was cool!

I could just listen to Noah go on and on about… Crypto, conspiracy theories, aliens, his middle school stories, how he just gets bullied but also turns it around? 😂🤣 Like man when Noah’s not just doing improv he’s also SO interesting
I wish it was longer, I really enjoyed Noah
A part 2 with Noah please. His stories are so interesting!
I really hope Shayne writes that book so I can read it and then make everyone I know read it because he’s so smart and so much smarter than he gives himself credit for.
I NEED another one of these with noah
The Freemasons I have met were in rural Indiana, it was just a local business and community fraternity, like the Rotary Club or the Lions Club. They network with each other and promote local business ownership, sponsor little league teams, and hold charity 5k runs. I have never understood why some people think they are more than a club. They are a little backward and old fashioned, but their goals are literally community improvement. I predict that as membership becomes younger, they will be more accepting.
Learning about Noah’s Free Masons story made me realize that my family member goes to a Masonic temple 😭 I don’t know how to feel 52:18
You should feel proud your family controls the world! /s
@@couriertx oh of course! the work benefits are great 😏
I really loved this episode! I was entertained by Noah's stories and conspiracy theories and his ability and personality to just be able to connect with strangers. We need more episodes with him!
Noah is such a great storyteller!
This is the most like conversation, conversation lmao like it goes everywhere and I love it
I do like that we can derive from Noah's story that the Freemason's initiation can fairly be described as "Eat this bean, bro".
noah sees horror movie trops as side quests. his life is just a constant setup for a horror movie but hes just too chill for it the actually work out
Noah is such a good guy. I love him
I need Noah to go in depth about more conspiracies. This was such a fun listen
"THE SUN LOOKS DIFFERENT THAN IT USED TO!" says the woman who has probably blinded herself from staring into the sun
Yep, there's a reason why it looks different to her 😉
I really love how shayne explains in every topic. He has a good way of putting his thoughts into words, and it's something that I really want to have lol.
Noah always has the best stories
Needed that to be so much longer. I could listen to Noah go on forever. You should have him back soon!
Noah is genuinely one of the most entertaining people
Could legit listen to Noah talk about conspiracies all day. Amanda and Shayne giving their input and banter is a huge plus too.
So far Noah has been the best guest
I'm from Vermont and I learn new things from people on the internet about my state all the time. Glad you guys like it so much!
This was my favorite episode so far! More Noah!
This is honestly one of my favourite videos ever. Noah speaks real life truths.
This podcast episode is way too short. I could listen to Noah forever xD
AMO!! 🤍 I COULD HEAR SHAYNE, AMANDA AND NOAH TALK FOR HOURS AND HOURS AND HOURS. I LOVED ALL THE EPISODES BEFORE, BUT THIS ONE HAS BEEN THE BEST.
NOAH HAS TO COME BY MANY MORE TIMES!
I only watch maybe 3 podcasts This one included, and this is not only easily my favorite but almost makes me want to dive deeper into the genre, keep up the great work and I hope this keeps going as long as you two want it to!
I still don't understand how flat earthers exist when we literally have a space station in orbit
Though I do love Shayne's 'Wisdom of Stupidity' idea he brought up, it might be the exact explanation to these kinds of beliefs
A space station which is visible from the surface.
They also belive the moon landing was fake and we have never gone to space and its all a conspiracy to hide the fact the earth is flat
Shayne talking about his book is EXACTLY what I teach in my art class! (weirdly enough)
Ways of Seeing by John Berger talks about accepting things that are proven facts, even if we don't know how it works! (ex: Earth spinning) and how we can apply it to looking, analyzing, and interpreting art. Of course it is muuuuuuuuch deeper than this. But yeah. I thought it was cool!
Okay Noah has to come back!! We hardly get to see this interesting side to him and Thanks Shayne and Amanda for giving this platform. BRING HIM BACK PLEASE
noah is so amazing honestly. ive been watching smosh for years and noah constantly sticks out (in a good way)
Let’s just appreciate how much time and hard work SmoshCast put into this video
I could listen to Noah speak for hours- he is such a good story teller!
I love Noah. He loves people and let's that outweigh fear.
46:38 Businesses also tend to clump together because people coming for that product are shopping around and might come to your store instead of your competitor's. Kinda like how car lots, realtors, and/or fast food stores are all on the same street together.
Also ... Can Noah do a whole series on the legit conspiracy theories? I want to hear more!!!!!
