Well, they had a funeral. I hope they buried the right person, but you are right we don't have any way of knowing. I wish someone one from his family identified him and DNA had not come back in just 3 minutes, or a couple of days, whatever stupidly short time it took.
Imagine that.... going through all that trauma, looking for your missing child, having a funeral, only to find out it was someone else you just buried. I hope this isn't the case. That's incomprehensible 🤯 its just disgusting and heartbreaking 💔

I certainly wouldn't put it past the authorities to have lied about it being Jay's body in an attempt to shut down the publicity (again, to protect the tourism industry).

Agree. I have thought from the beginning that he disappeared off that boat. When the story got too hot, they had to produce a body to shut it all down. It's they why he was got rid of that I'm not sure about.

Different ravine. Landslide was in the Barranco de Masca near the new pier, Jay was found in the Barranco Juan Lopez.

Hi Harsh 😁 yes it's scary. I'm worried with the amount of stuff coming out about Tenerife 😐 there is another English guy I was watching last night, he reports news and attractions in and around the area, but my god he had some things to say. It's been happening for a long time and being covered up but around the last few months to a year it has become dangerous. Not only is it dangerous because of the criminals but the danger heightens when the number of people saying the police do nothing, barely speak English in a place where 90% who live or visit speak English, or it's being covered up by police themselves. It's not reassuring at all and makes you wonder why these criminals are becoming worse... No consequences for them 🤔😔

The fact that no one could not see Jay's body,I believe that the avalanche was man made,hide more secrets
One of the things that confused me was that the boat filming the landslide were not moving away from it. If it were me I would be putting distance between myself and the landslide. You don't know how far debris may go or what it could do to the water such as creating large waves.

In my opinion, there were a lot more bodies in that Ravine therefore that takes care of those bodies being discovered, does it not. As to Jay they should be able to get DNA from his Hair, from his Hair, and also his bones. Question is HAS the Mother / Family requested that. As myself as a mother I would want irreputable Proof that was MY SON. I would have PAID for that to done if the UK authorities would NOT do it fore me.

I reckon not beyond the realms of possibility in this case those who placed Jay's body are concerned they left traces of evidence that link to them. Which would mean they are concerned about further on the ground investigation. Or maybe just covering off all bases.

I find the family’s reactions to this whole situation messed up.For the most part, they appear to have stayed pretty quiet in regards to they massive inconsistencies and questions that have yet to be answered.I would have expected more of a kick up and demand for answers from the authorities in an attempt to gain more traction to know what happened.Harsh,True crime 11.11 and Wax unfiltered are asking more questions than than the family,In my opinion.

In one of chris tenerifes videos there was some sort of small cave beside that revine and there was a mattress in there i just thought it was weird who could of put a mattress there considering it is so hard to get to let alone carry a mattress down there and for what purpose

This case was closed too quickly! My gut is following suspicion...
Every aspect of this case is caught on video apart from leaving the club onwards then it becomes photos and screen shots.
What could have been found in the ravine? For example, other personal objects of Jay, blood trails, DNA evidence, personal objects that the perpetrators lost there? And to hold off people to walk there at all and do investigations, because it seems too dangerous.
Wasn't something of Jays given to his family in confidence to Debbie, Warren and Zach, like a confirmation and momento in time for a "symbolic burial" though...
That landslide was in Buenavista del Norte, Jay was found on route Playa de Juan Lopez. The landslide was further North and no where near disposition site. Also a landslide in 2021, so not sure it’s that rare.
There is very small white smoke or cloud just above the dust cloud around the collapse site. I wonder if the rest of the sky was crystal clear and blue and that was the only smoke or cloud in the sky perhaps indicating an explosive device or indeed just one of many clouds.

I noted the exact same thing Nick. The crop of the shot doesn’t allow us to confirm this sadly but there is definitely separation between the thrown up dust and that solitary “cloud” above it.

Its very strange. I worked on the railway for years and we done work on landslides and landslides prevention. That work was basically winter and wet conditions as its the only time it happened. This is new to me lol
Great informative video. Using Occam's Razor I believe the landslide , as deliberate. I am grateful that people like you are continuing to push for the truth. I just hope that, as a collective, a thorough investigation can be made to happen sooner rather than later, whilst the momentum has built. Thank you again.

Cover evidence or lay to rest the easy access to the ravine theory
i did have a lookee at the natural phenomena that can cause landslides etc - in that area. they tend to happen after poor weather and lots of rain. makes sense eh? water causes erosion of hard dry crumbly rock and it disintigrated. Masca ravine was actually shut down for a year or two because of a prior landslide rockfall and flooding - they had just fully reopened it - all looking totally gorgeous and natural - like something out of jurassic park . ( i guessed that the reason barranco juan lopez became so overgrown and abandoned is - that all the efforts and money were put into masca - the main ravine.)
it is coincidence for sure - but like another comment - maybe the local or not so local mafia used that area for other stuff and with all the snooping around - maybe they were worried about things being discovered or traces of other stuff going on - so they went along and blew it up -- not that difficult to do with a few bangers?
im keeping an eye out for something that explains why it was a natural phenomena - the tides had been exceptionally high around los cristianos and creating some chaos on the beaches -so it leads me to think - yea this is coicidence but then my other bit of brain cells asks me to at least question as you are.
landslides are not usually in summer - there is usually some sort of signs. masca barranco is used a lot now well it was - it will be shut now - no more hikers going down the barrancos of los gigantes.
I could be wrong but reading the report it said the landslide was adjacent to the pier . The pier is at masca gorge . Although it’s close ish to the barranco Juan Lopez it still a good many kms away . I really don’t thinks it’s connected in anyway . Jay was found deep in the ravine and the landslide on the video is clearly along the cliffs by the sea .

Harsh, I have the cleaned up version of the beach video. All the background noise has been removed.
It was posted weeks ago on a FB group, then quickly removed.
I am always dubious with 'cleaned' video. If the original video was of extremely poor quality then you are just cleaning a poor quality video.. You cannot add details that do not exist. I will certainly have a look but my fear is that it still won't provide definitive proof of the person in the video being Jay Slater.

@@sandraplatt7742 Still, good to see the footage. All potential evidence helps. I think I may have seen it if it includes a close up zoom and 50% speed. I could not quite determine though what the figures were doing, however. The audio was clear, even if potentially not real. However that it was removed from the Facebook group quickly after it was posted is indeed suspicious. Do you remember which Facebook group? Was it maybe the Jay Slater Missing Official, run by 'harg louise rach', or Rachel Hargreaves to you and me?
No..I can't find the group now. It was run by a Darren Watts.
A young mum posted it who was up doing the night feed with her baby, she was watching the livefeed cam on the beach, and she said it was authentic as she actually watched it live. She got it cleaned up. Then another person commented who said they knew Lucy and confirmed it was her voice, and tagged another friend who agreed. But like I said...who knows with this case.....lots of trolls and fake profiles were commenting on that group.@@Arcticnick

There’s an episode of law and order svu where the coroner asks the relative to put a picture of the deceased at the end of the table. They then identify the body and immediately look at the picture so that would be your lasting image. I’d have to see just to know.

A body (not Jay) in the ravine was staged there together with the belongings of Jay, in my opinion. It’s the same pattern following the staged fotos at the bnb. Look it’s Jay, but it isn’t.

@@brianhume4743 Yes that might be for sure. I haven’t heard of any positive DNA testing of the corpse at all. Fingerprints can sometimes be taken, but it takes some days to do so if the body is extremely decomposed, and not within a few hours as the Spanish Autopsy Team allegedly did.
The landslides were way north of where Jay was found.(Buenavista del Norte) Landslides have happened before there. Especially as you have a very dry arid environment that's susceptible to weak soil and regular disturbance.
Looking at maps and reports the Buenavista Del Norte coast where the landslide occurred is on the opposite side of the national park to where they say Jay was found. One report mentions the landslide occurring near a new pier which would explain why people were close by on boats and later lying on the sand beach. I also found a Canarian FB page with comments stating that there are signs along that area due to the danger of landslides, but people often ignore them.

The more that happens in Tenerife the stranger this case gets. There’s literally no evidence that whatever happened to jay if it was a case of him walking off a cliff to support when and why. Why’s have we had no security footage of jay in that club on that night. It gives credence to the fella who said the bar staff have been told to not speak to the police. They could have very easily shown footage of their own. The story stinks.

Also the girl who works in the club who said that Jay looked out of it and she gave him a bottle of water for free is probably lying to fit into the 'he fell narrative'. The location of Jay's body would become a tourist hotspot for Brits and a permanent reminder of crime on the island. With thousands of British sightseers viewing the ravine and none accidentally falling down it, questions may be asked. "Nothing to see here again." Searching for bodies on Tenerife could become a new activity holiday as we are now aware of where all the missing people go.

I think this landslide happened in the Masca Ravine, not the Juan Lopez one where Jay was found. The Canarian Weekly stated “A large section of a hillside near the new pier collapsed”. The Tenerife Weekly of March this year mentioned “the use of the Masca Ravine pier”. So yes, a different ravine.
The idea that bodies were swapped doesn’t hold. This from Lancs Live on the 12th July:
“An inquest into Jay's death has been opened and adjourned at Preston Coroners' Court. The only evidence taken related to Jay's identity. A date for the full inquest has not yet been set.”
So Jay’s identity has been verified in the UK and it can be guaranteed that this was done properly and that it was Jay who came back to the UK. I don’t know if the family were allowed to see the body in the UK but probably not. Unfortunately they wouldn’t have recognised him even if they were allowed to see him.

Weather was around 22C and dry mate. Could be coincidence but they have also put up a paywall in the area too. It’s a number of oddities for sure
A landslide could reveal more bodies.
The video of the landslide stated that it was the Masca gorge, but Jay was in the Juan Lopez gorge. Unless the video label was wrong, don't make too much of this.

People go through there all the time (hikers etc)and I’m pretty sure it’s managed like they do on mountains for avalanches etc?! So no landslides can happen and be prevented?!

We checked at if there has been any landslips there before, answer has come back as No- there was one 103 years ago near Adeje but not on the Lopez beach. If there is a coverup then whatever if anything that was left there or indicated of things left in the tunnels etc….there might have been something left?? Randomly filming offshore- that is strange-keep going- we are satill waiting for the M qutopsy & ID. & will post here asap.

Back to basics in my thinking here. Whatever happened to checking indentities through dental records. I may have missed this being mentioned in my reading., but the procedure in many countries would be just this, to go by dental records. This is just my thoughts. Too much happening for sure to be conincidences. The beach if it is Jay and could well be would be so far the last actual footage of jay being alive. There is no footage (moving footage) of Jay after leaving the club.
