    Broke in my 300s in Italy back in March, walking around Rome, Naples, and Florence. Didn't want to wear sneakers like all the other tourists. They did great. Love the boots. Super comfortable. Well done JK!

    I just got my pair of 300X’s about three weeks ago, I’ve worn them every day since. Other than them being much longer than I expected, probably like a full size longer than my other PNW boots of the same size. I have no complaints. Amazing boots for the money. I wouldn’t say “no break in” but I already have probably over 100hrs in them and they already feel nice and broke in. Money well spent

    It's good to show even the more negative reviews and go over them. I did note on the cut in-half boot that the tongue did appear to be a far lower grade in general, but you made mention it has been noted and you look for alternatives.

    I love my JK Boots. However, that sole wears out waaaaay too fast. Please follow Nicks Boots lead and change that sole to a longer wearing sole. Again, i love my JK'S but man, i have to say those soles need an upgrae desperately.

      I'd respectfully disagree. After owning them all, I've switched out the longer lasting thorogood style soles with the good ol' Vibram 4014. Just my preference.

    I love mine a year later. Everything is great, except I still don't like how floppy the tongue is and low-cut the gusset of the tongue is. If it was a full gusset or thicker, it wouldn't slide and bunch throughout the day.

      The leather vamp has also separated from the rubber midsole up to the stitching. Possibly, a more aggressive solvent glue could be used.

      @@mr.monitor. I experienced the same with mine. Delamination. Not a particularly big problem so far not least because we're entering summer, but it could definitely impact water resistance down the line if not fixed.

    In the same boat as people buying these and wanting to branch out to the other stuff you guys have. The 8" custom forefronts in that beautiful grey leather is my dream boot. Saving up to eventually get those.

    I would love the option to have eyelets all the way up. I haven't mastered speed hooks and they are pretty rough on the inside. Im going to have a cobbler put eyelets on the 300, and if its acceptable, I'll have my OTs done.

  • @BlueSpirit.
    @BlueSpirit. 8 днів тому

    It’s easier to find a cobbler to do a resole for a Goodyear welt. I imagine you have a resole service. Good looking boots.

    My 300X's are fantastic. I have had mine for just over a year and at the end of the day I often don't want to take them off. The hardware does bite into my leg at bit even with kilties and thick socks but not enough to make me want to not wear them.

    I’m in the market for a boot like this. What’s your opinion on this boot for Asphalt work? Will be exposed to lots of heat and chemicals. Extreme rough conditions.

    • @jkbootsusa

      Unfortunately we don't offer any asphalt soles currently

      @@jkbootsusa in your opinion, how would these hold up?

    • @jkbootsusa
      @jkbootsusa  29 днів тому

      They 300 will hold up in that environment. The 300x sole will be much more heat resistant and will last longer, however they are lug soles so that might be harder to clean
