They do, but my point was that there is so little separating the LG and Sony visually and subjectively in things like professional level comparisons that it doesn't matter. In my opinion, people should stop chasing what other people call the best and get what fits "them" and ticks the boxes for "them" instead of what tickets the boxes for someone else.
It is pronounced ratings according to how they pronounce it on their UA-cam channel. Their reviews are good to watch and entertaining. On a side note, the one thing that bugs me about the Onkyo, if my memory serves me correctly on ASR, was that the RZ50 limited surround channel output severely to protect the internal amps. I could be wrong on that though. It's been a minute since I read that review.
Just read the review and you are right. Below is what Amir says in conclusion. "The inclusion of proper Room EQ in mid-priced AVRs is major news indeed. Alas, my job here is to characterize the performance of the platform itself and the news there is not good. The amplifier has serious power limiting "feature" and even without it, it is not competitive with other products out there. Company can and should do better than this. I am confident a clean up pass with measurements can produce a better product. For too long review sites have done such a cursory job here as to allow these practices to continue. Hopefully that era is behind us. I know a number of companies are taking this domain seriously like the companies did in 1970s. So if Onkyo doesn't get with the program, it will fall behind."
@HomeTheaterSavants this just makes the value proposition of the X3800h even better. Combine that with the RZ50 having an internal splitter on the sub outs and it's not really close at that point.
Nothing wrong with providing opinions on what we think is worth the money vs not. I get excited. Come to think of it, maybe I should put a compressor on the microphone. Regardless, I’d rather be animated and excited than a door mat. If you have a problem with that, maybe this isn’t the stream for you.
I wanna link to that Smart app. All I want is to see the frequency spectrum. Was there a not $2K alternative?
Its not an app. Its software for PC/Mac. www.rationalacoustics.com/collections/smaart
They call it "ratings" in their videos
Sony OLED use Samsung as of 2 years ago.

@HomeTheaterSavants yeah. I won't buy Samsung because their software sucks, like you said. Panels might be fine
It doesn't burn in, it burns out. That helps you understand because the overall screen brightness can go down
I want acoustic panels

Be aware . You must have reference capable speakers to watch the podcast and listen Ryan screams every 3 minutes🤣
