Looks great! For another tile, how about a control room? Old screens and chairs and computer stations and the like. Possibly a center holoscreen where generals used to determine battle tactics.
FUTURE BOARD SUGGESTION - Love the board, how about this for a suggestion? Do a board where some sort of alien vegetation has started to encroach/burst through the industrialised bits of the board? You could have a big plant bursting up through the floor tiles and then maybe some vines and such-like, you could either do this with 3D printed plants or just use some aquarium plastic plants that you could kitbash and then paint.
As an additional suggestion, how about a board where the floor is actually just a big lake of slime? This would force the two sides to stay on the platforms during a game and make the height even more important (think there was an old Necromunda scenario like this). You could have some cracked floor tiles at the end and then airbrush the majority of the floor to make it look like a toxic, underhive swamp.
What about doing something like the coffin motels from Shadowrun, or the stacked container apartment housing arias from the real world? lot's of rooms for cover and lots of verticality and the later idea could mesh up well with the couple of perforations you already have in two of your walls. Other than that have you though at all about thinning down your Spackle a little and maybe sprinkling it with some baking soda for a rougher less hot glue texture to work off of? Also what about gluing some scatter to the board ties, some can be centered while other pieces can but up against one end for if there is a wall on the adjoining board could be vents could be a pile of crates or barrels could be a little market stall or a grizzly corpse.
@@MiniatureHobbyist it's course and rough and gets everywhere... also really is great for in scale sand, and does some weird textural things with Gel CA.
Love the look! Maybe a tile with a slightly raised vat of acidic green (sprue?) goo or glowy molten metal surrounded by walkways, not-to-reliable-looking-railings, maybe a trolley crane/robotic arm for lifting cages/crucibles, (perfect for dunking heretics), random industrial machinery and computer consoles around to hide around.
I can't wait to see how this progresses. I'd like to see a ruined gothic cathedral next, or a factory with vats of chemicals. This could easily be used in 40k too. Great work.
Looks awesome I love it. A cargo hold or a launch bay would be cool. Maybe set on two tiles so you can put cargo containers or a shuttle craft in there. Looking forward to the build.
I'd like to see a market place, with different food venders and stalls with junk for sale. maybe a water processing/corpse starch factory tile would be good as well! if you sre going for height maybe you could put the tiles on top of each other as well? to make very high structures?
1 and a quater tip to share: If a mini is calling for a yellow over a base coat and will be washed or other things, you can get away with using folklore acrylic paint golden yellow, and it will turn out just as if you used the name brand yellow. The quarter tip is NOT an exact science, but if you take the golden yellow and add one drop to AMLOST 3 drops thinner, it will ALMOST behave as a speed paint, but be careful with the application as it will reactivate the paints around it. Also great job!
Cargo Hold. Med bay. Barracks. Bridge. Armory. A couple ideas for rooms that could help tell a story of the board that could be fun. An engine room with a destroyed Gellar Field Generator that shows signs of chaos breaching the ship. A research bay with Tyranids is stasis pods but one of them looks like the nid inside broke out. Kind of a 40K Alien type mash up.
Yeah this is amazing, ive never used an Airbrush, and been meaning to buy one for years but never had the courage too even tho it seems easy enough to use and clean, but yes please do more Necromunda tiles or miniatures :)
hey just to let you know don't let your airbrush sit after you are done using it clean it don't even leave it in cleaning solution to clean it later that will go wrong
Awesome work mate and even though you have only been using the airbrush a couple of months now. I would like to see you build a tile like on Mars with a few rocks here and there with maybe a space buggy
Looks great. Fyi to create variety using the floor templates for zone mortalis in necromunda. I'm not saying you need to buy the board pieces those are like $140! No just the layouts so the tiles are all different.
Sheesh, anyone who walks into that room/building is going to need a heavy rebreather lol. I can just see the particles of dust and mold floating in the air as folks pass through the still-silence of the space with only the sound of their boot drops and the occasional distant clang of old metal settling. Things have become so corroded that even the vermin that once occupied the space, perhaps for years, have either died or fled. In spite of being completely abandoned by people it is a place of utter death on its own now. Between the crumbling catwalks and the rusted, tetanus covered edges of every surface one still has to consider the neglected leaking reactors deep in the heart of the structure that are slowly infusing the place with radiation. (Reactor room with damaged reactors is my suggestion for another tile to this set)
@@MiniatureHobbyist I appreciate the praise. Sincerely, thank you very much. You can have those words for free my friend. I'm sure you can snag much better voices than mine to deliver them, keep up the amazing work!
Ahh sorry, like I mentioned in the video a lot of the files I found a year ago so no idea what they were called but all from thingiverse, my next board is going to be solely made from one designer 🙂
@@MiniatureHobbyist I understand, I was hoping someone in the community recognized the build or was smarter than me in searching😂 anyway you could drop the files into Google drive/Dropbox? If not it's no biggie. Followed your content for years and I appreciate your videos tutorials. Have a good day.

Cheers for all the ideas, cant say Ive ever thought about watering down the grout, Ive only used baking powder once and I cant stand the stuff lol 🙂

Amazing job! I'd love to see the rest of the boards!
I get Nostromo vibes looking at them.
Cheers, I could see some Aliens roaming around this board 🙂
Always love your content. Being a person whom can not afford a 3d printer at current prices. I was hoping you might go back to scratch builds?

Awesome work haven't played killteam but i know necromunda and shadow war Armageddon have rules for height
Outstanding! The paint job is awesome! I need to break out my airbrush🙄 the dirty down rust works every time. We appreciate you, my friend.
Thank you so much for your kind words 🙂
Amazing work. I bet you'll have tons of fun with the army painter box I love their products.
Cheers, I do love how easy it is to use the paints and the amount of colours is amazing 🙂

@@MiniatureHobbyist that's why, I tried 1 stepping it.
Cool video and great terrain !
A toxic puddle would be cool
That will be in the next tile 🙂
This is fantastic!

Such an incredible board!!!! Can’t wait to see the other 5!!!
Looks awesome! ❤😊❤
Thank you so much 🙂
That tile looks amazing, I wouldn't change anything.
Cheers, Ive already started on the next one 🙂
Maybe a cargohold/warehouse then you could do crates and large containers for cover
Great board very much looks like something abandond or broken down spot of a hive city (well what i imagine it to be).
If you planet based you could make a dark courtyard/entry way making it look like barricades or wasteland outside
Amazing work
Cheers 🙂
Great video full of a lot of inspiration. I look forward to seeing more of your work.
Thank you so much 🙂
Love it!!! Can you do a spaceport? For the Argus? Or a Landraider port? Hmmmmm. Good job
Cheers, yeah a spaceport sounds cool 🙂
A reservoir or sewer might be very cool. Could have some tanks of brackish water, crisscrossed with bridges and the like.
I am thinking of doing some toxic waste 🙂

cheers me too 🙂

Wow, love that story, you need to do a voice over so I can put it on the video, I could make a little series of cinematic movies of my terrain 🙂

Maybe a tile set in a cargo bay ...rust bucket style😊
Sounds good 🙂
reminds me of the Astartes video - the boarding scene
cheers 🙂
Good work
Amazing!
Definitely some toxic waste pools or barrels, that could act as hazardous terrain aswell!
Thats exactly whats on my mind 🙂
Any idea where the future gothic looking wall mounted head was from? Can't find it on thingiverse
Bio board with lots of weird flesh stuff
Can you give the link to Thingiverse for the tiles? AWESOME BUILD,,,
Cheers, I dont have any links to the thingiverse stuff as Ive been downloading bits for the past year and have an allsorts folder lol 🙂
Vats filled with bubbling liquid that's getting treated?
Sounds good 🙂
Has anyone been able to find these 3d files? I'm struggling to locate them. Any clue as to what they were called or a designer name would be awesome.

So for the thingiverse if you unzipped the whole file the read me text may have it's link

Shame really, not everyone has access to a 3D printer. So not much relevance for me.
Sorry about that Nick, 3D printing just means I can make exactly whats in my mind 🙂
Used to really enjoy this channel when it was scratch building but everything's gone 3D printed...not against it but most of us don't own one :(
Sorry about that but yup times have changed for me and now being able to make whats in my mind is great 🙂
