I think you guys missed what happened right next to the mushroom cloud. From inside the you see the mushroom taking shape, on right there were same lights kinda moving a bit, a second after they got in formation then flew up leaving a tail behind after passing a cloud. 1st I thought it could be debris from another explosion looking closer it course corrected. Their supreme sacrifices her self because she was ill and knew she wouldn’t make the trip so she needed the next supreme to take over. That’s why she hung her self in the well.....so Cordelia she will die because she has the same piercing as the woman when the zombies came for her ... she was doing what was best for the coven and knew the next supreme would throw Michael Langdon off. But Cordelia does have the power of premonition so she maybe she was foreshadowing her death.
And only Coco's hair is horrible looking. So she had no hair products but Evan's character still had short dyed blonde Platinum hair. And Evie Joan's character had dark hair and in real life she's 85 and on the show probably playing close to that age and no gray hair. So she's dying it and the guys hair are still short and no facial hair.

Has anyone ever noticed that almost no gay couples ever make it through a whole season? Murder house- the gay couple that owned the house before the Harmon's were murdered. Asylum- Lana's girlfriend is murdered. Coven-( I don't remember if there is any main gay character(s) in Coven). Freakshow- Every gay character is killed. Hotel- (Let's be honest, almost every main character dies in Hotel). Roanoke- The first owner of the Roanoke house (Mott) was murdered by the lost colony. Cult: Ivy is poisoned. Apocalypse: THE STEW IS STU!!!
It’s TV. Gay people either die or have mental problems. It’s a pretty serious issue, it’s like they use gay characters just to make other characters learn lessons. It’s a very weird and specific trope.
The tiny dude on the Witches Council was gay as hell. Dead now. Also, every season's main underlying issue is someone dealing with Mommy issues. I don't think there's a theme with them killing gay people. I just think they have consistent formulas that they stick with. Almost everyone dies in every season. Some of them just happen to be gay. The fact that he actually has gay characters in every season and normalizes gay relationships instead of making it some special plot theme is actually a good thing. No need to read negativity into it. Plenty of straight people die too.
Not all gay characters dies; I don't think it's done with any homophobic agenda. It's AHS, most characters die by the end of the season, straight, gay, black, white, most of 'em die.
the sanctuary michael was talking about has to be murder house because we know tate and violet are returning and since they’re ghosts and can’t leave the house and since michael was raised right next door by constance who we also know is returning kind of early on in the season so maybe there’s like an underground area at murder house that’s safe from the radiation

Wouldn't it be an amazing plot twist if Michael langdons new sanctuary was the asylum from season 2; refurbished obviously. It's big enough to hold lots of people,isolated enough that it may have avoided the blast and it may be comfortable for Michael seeing as the devil's made its home then before. (Probably won't happen but I can dream)
Isn't the murder house in California? The Nuke was dropped in california so i don't know about that one? I know its a show but a nuke could def wipe out the entirety of California even though its a huge ass state.
I’m thinking that Kathy Bates’s character seems like she may have alerted Michael to what was going on because she did tell Ms. Venable that she is ex military and follows the chain of command. Ms. Venable questioned her loyalty to her.
Excellent breakdown, as usual! The gas masks are very reminiscent of the "plague masks" from the 13th century they looked like they had long beaks, during the time of the plague they would fill them with a blend of herbs and spices very similar to the "thieves oil" of today to ward off both the smell and the virus. They also used this same type of mask in the recent show 12 Monkeys on SyFy.
Maybe "we" meant the Americans cause U.S. have nukes and could destroy other countries. Every country with nukes would send bombs to their opponent after the launch of first one, so "we did it" looks like the U.S. also did launch theirs.
He meant “we” as in the human race. It’s easy to convince yourself that no matter how scary it gets we’ll never let it go that far so he’s shocked that it’s actually happening.
The DNA deals with the witch gene, my question is if Coco has 4 tickets why didn't Mallory get to be purple?? Also you can't reprise a new role!! I think the "exclusive boys school" that outpost 3 was a warlock school like Ms. Robicheaux academy "for gifted young women". Michael definitely has powers. I think it could've been a Warlock school too. Mallory didn't get to be a purple I think because she was just an assistant to Coco. Plus they showed a scene with Mallory talking to Coco about that. Coco told her that Mr.Gallant wouldn't touch her hair if he wasn't a Purple and his grandmother Evie was a purple because she went to the Oscars and was friends with Natalie Woods.

I think the record player is connected to the cooperative, and the reason "the new tomorrow" is 18 months away (or 3 6 month intervals) is the rule of three that is practiced through witch/Wicca beliefs. I hate the cliche use of 666, in the bible the number of the beast is 616, but with all the pop culture references I understand why they used 666.

I was kind of bummed that the only character from Coven or Murder House was Michael Langdon in the pilot, but I know I will see the rest later. I enjoyed episode one otherwise. I recognized the song from Murder House.

The song is literally the same in every single season... Except they distort it in a unique way of add to it in a unique way. It makes the themes completely similar but somewhat recognizable as from a specific season. This one seemed slightly less unique than others
When the two coop agents took Timothy, they said he submitted his DNA on ancestry website. Which means he was adopted by the family we saw and he was trying to find his own roots. Which may turn out to be connected to a character in the previous seasons.
Going for an ancestry website is not only to find biological confections...the father literally says to take his young child but they are not the same even if they have the same parents. Unless mommy cheated.
you can also go on ancestry website just to find out your lineage it might not mean anything other than that. and also the agents said there not identical which means there not identical twins and dont have the same dna set up
23 and me is considered to be an ancestry site. BUT they do also tell you about your body based off of your dna. it can also tell you what regions your ancestors are from. So it doesn’t mean that that isn’t his actual family.
Adopted? He looked exactly like the guy who played his father. And why wouldn't his adoptive parents just tell him about his roots? '23 and Me' is used for many reasons other than finding your real parents. Many use it to find out if they have any genetic medical issues.
This was such a great start to season 8, Sarah Paulson's introduction and character are absolutely marvelous. Loving the clothing and costumes everyone is wearing down there too!!! Love watching your guy's channel. Your breakdowns are my absolute favorite. And no I don't think I could ever be a cannibal!!!!
Evie isn't bankrolling them. Coco's father was a billionaire who purchased spots for his whole family. So Coco (the only survivor) basically had 3 extra spots reserved for Mallory, Evie, and Evan Peters character (whose name is escaping me).
I think Billie Lourdes character is secretly a witch and she was flying the plane. In the trailer it looks like she’s participating in the seven wonders. Also this may be a stretch but maybe Michael plans on taking them to the murder house. Maybe he was in the house during the nuke and it had no effect on him or his surroundings.
I'd totally eat the stew. I loved this episode, first three minutes almost gave me a heart attack because it was so real... Everything about it was amazing. I thnk the whole deal with the pilot was that it was on auto-pilot? So no one but them would know the location of the shelter? Michael showing up was so good. This season's gonna be great!
it couldnt be auto pilot because the bomb would blow the plane out of the sky and it kind of did but then a magical force lifted them up again and there was sort of an angelic glow in the plane which i think is witches or the antichrist
Amy Herrmann with episode two out now and the rubber man was in it, I’m gonna day that Tate was released because Michael is technically the son of Tate, so maybe he wants to help him. Or maybe, he is the personification of the murder house and he can summon any of the ghosts he wants. Is that too much?
I really hope it’s explained how Michael aged so fast, according to the show he was born in 2012, he was 3 when he killed his nanny in 2015, the pilot took place in 2019, and now from the time skip he arrives to the Outpost in 2020. He would canonically be 8 years old but he looks like he’s in his 20s. Either he ages much quicker than normal humans because of his DNA, or it’s a huge oversight on the writers part.
Well he was growing super fast while Vivian was pregnant even causing the other twin to suffer and was born early ripping Vivian apart literally tearing her apart. But that doesn't explain why he's still the same proper age when Constance notices he killed his nanny. Maybe he grows faster at a certain age.

I think the people in the shelters are meant to be food. The way the entrance was designed made me think instantly of how cattle slaughter houses will funnel cattle through winding paths like that to de-stress them before being butchered. The Stew is Stew scene just further sells me on that.
More of the "Adam and Eve" storyline. "Adam" tells her not to eat the stew...lol Don't eat the fruit!! Also she see's a serpent in her closet during the trailer. They're definitely our "Adam and Eve"!!!!!!

Does anyone think Kathy & Sarah’s Characters are purples themselves and are on the same hierarchy level as the rest of the guests. They came first and then took over the shelter, to put themselves in charge?
I think they're "blacks", working directly under The Cooperative. But they wanna be purple. Purple is royalty. Purple is elite. Purple is selectively chosen to help the world succeed again (under Michael Langdon AKA Anti-Christ, so evil kind of succeed. But succeed nevertheless!). They are workers themselves; they work under The Cooperative. They're jealous. They want to be someone who has the perfect genetic makeup, someone who is chosen specifically for this important, special project, but they're not. They're just puppets, right-hand-men to a new world order (what im getting from The Cooperative so far), who has to follow rules they dont get to set, & arent special at all. They were just gullible enough to be sucked in by Michael & The Cooperative; they're not special, but they want to be so badly. My take on it, anyway. & i made up the whole "blacks" thing. 😂

I was personally pretty disappointed by the premiere this season. Maybe it’s just in contrast from rewatching the earlier seasons in preparation but the characters to me were really unlikeable and unrelatable. The aesthetic of the bunker is nicely done, but the whole vibe of the interactions feels catty and dramatic, as opposed to the natural, relatable tension in the other seasons where characters were trapped in close quarters. More like scream queens than AHS at its best. Just my opinion on the matter, and I’ll ofc watch the rest of the season!
Is it just me? Or do you think it was Zoe (one of the witches) who was the voice in his head telling him to get out after he left the shower and saw the 666? Because back in coven, the same exact voice was pronouncing “Queenie” and it turned out to be Zoe’s telepathic ability.
I do find it odd that even though four tickets in total were bought that Malllory still had to wear grey. I'm sure Ms. Venable was just messing with her, who knows.

But Mallory was an assistant. Wasn't as famous or rich as them. By class standards, they were royalty/elites (purple); & she would've been upper middle class, still the working class but working for someone Insta famous (grey).

Guys the hair is super important this season: It’s the first scene The Hairdresser manipulates Coco to get int the jet talking about her hair, also becomes a purple because of her hair And micheal head that long hair That’s because in a world where everyone is bawl because of radiation, hair is opulence, is power. Ok two things, one we actually see the ruins of the Witches academy in the teaser trailers, it’s completely gone and in that same shot is Michael with “zombies”(?). So I don’t think the Witches Academy is the sanctuary. Secondly, Coco’s ex boyfriend is coming back. We saw him in the trailer teaser as well, he is underneath Michael Langdon’s carriage looking zombified. :)

Has anyone ever noticed that almost no gay couples ever make it through a whole season?
Murder house- the gay couple that owned the house before the Harmon's were murdered.
Asylum- Lana's girlfriend is murdered.
Coven-( I don't remember if there is any main gay character(s) in Coven).
Freakshow- Every gay character is killed.
Hotel- (Let's be honest, almost every main character dies in Hotel).
Roanoke- The first owner of the Roanoke house (Mott) was murdered by the lost colony.
Cult: Ivy is poisoned.
Apocalypse: THE STEW IS STU!!!

It’s TV. Gay people either die or have mental problems. It’s a pretty serious issue, it’s like they use gay characters just to make other characters learn lessons. It’s a very weird and specific trope.

The tiny dude on the Witches Council was gay as hell. Dead now. Also, every season's main underlying issue is someone dealing with Mommy issues. I don't think there's a theme with them killing gay people. I just think they have consistent formulas that they stick with. Almost everyone dies in every season. Some of them just happen to be gay. The fact that he actually has gay characters in every season and normalizes gay relationships instead of making it some special plot theme is actually a good thing. No need to read negativity into it. Plenty of straight people die too.
Not all gay characters dies; I don't think it's done with any homophobic agenda. It's AHS, most characters die by the end of the season, straight, gay, black, white, most of 'em die.

Wouldn't it be an amazing plot twist if Michael langdons new sanctuary was the asylum from season 2; refurbished obviously. It's big enough to hold lots of people,isolated enough that it may have avoided the blast and it may be comfortable for Michael seeing as the devil's made its home then before. (Probably won't happen but I can dream)

The gas masks are very reminiscent of the "plague masks" from the 13th century they looked like they had long beaks, during the time of the plague they would fill them with a blend of herbs and spices very similar to the "thieves oil" of today to ward off both the smell and the virus. They also used this same type of mask in the recent show 12 Monkeys on SyFy.

I think it could've been a Warlock school too. Mallory didn't get to be a purple I think because she was just an assistant to Coco. Plus they showed a scene with Mallory talking to Coco about that. Coco told her that Mr.Gallant wouldn't touch her hair if he wasn't a Purple and his grandmother Evie was a purple because she went to the Oscars and was friends with Natalie Woods.

I think the record player is connected to the cooperative, and the reason "the new tomorrow" is 18 months away (or 3 6 month intervals) is the rule of three that is practiced through witch/Wicca beliefs. The song is literally the same in every single season... Except they distort it in a unique way of add to it in a unique way. It makes the themes completely similar but somewhat recognizable as from a specific season. This one seemed slightly less unique than others

When the two coop agents took Timothy, they said he submitted his DNA on ancestry website. Which means he was adopted by the family we saw and he was trying to find his own roots. Which may turn out to be connected to a character in the previous seasons.
Going for an ancestry website is not only to find biological confections...the father literally says to take his young child but they are not the same even if they have the same parents. Unless mommy cheated.
you can also go on ancestry website just to find out your lineage it might not mean anything other than that. and also the agents said there not identical which means there not identical twins and dont have the same dna set up
23 and me is considered to be an ancestry site. BUT they do also tell you about your body based off of your dna. it can also tell you what regions your ancestors are from. So it doesn’t mean that that isn’t his actual family.

I thnk the whole deal with the pilot was that it was on auto-pilot? So no one but them would know the location of the shelter? Michael showing up was so good. This season's gonna be great!

I really hope it’s explained how Michael aged so fast, according to the show he was born in 2012, he was 3 when he killed his nanny in 2015, the pilot took place in 2019, and now from the time skip he arrives to the Outpost in 2020. He would canonically be 8 years old but he looks like he’s in his 20s. Either he ages much quicker than normal humans because of his DNA, or it’s a huge oversight on the writers part.
Well he was growing super fast while Vivian was pregnant even causing the other twin to suffer and was born early ripping Vivian apart literally tearing her apart. But that doesn't explain why he's still the same proper age when Constance notices he killed his nanny. Maybe he grows faster at a certain age.

I think the people in the shelters are meant to be food. The way the entrance was designed made me think instantly of how cattle slaughter houses will funnel cattle through winding paths like that to de-stress them before being butchered. The Stew is Stew scene just further sells me on that.

I think they're "blacks", working directly under The Cooperative. But they wanna be purple. Purple is royalty. Purple is elite. Purple is selectively chosen to help the world succeed again (under Michael Langdon AKA Anti-Christ, so evil kind of succeed. But succeed nevertheless!). They are workers themselves; they work under The Cooperative. They're jealous. They want to be someone who has the perfect genetic makeup, someone who is chosen specifically for this important, special project, but they're not. They're just puppets, right-hand-men to a new world order (what im getting from The Cooperative so far), who has to follow rules they dont get to set, & arent special at all. They were just gullible enough to be sucked in by Michael & The Cooperative; they're not special, but they want to be so badly. My take on it, anyway. & i made up the whole "blacks" thing. 😂

I was personally pretty disappointed by the premiere this season. Maybe it’s just in contrast from rewatching the earlier seasons in preparation but the characters to me were really unlikeable and unrelatable. The aesthetic of the bunker is nicely done, but the whole vibe of the interactions feels catty and dramatic, as opposed to the natural, relatable tension in the other seasons where characters were trapped in close quarters. More like scream queens than AHS at its best.
Just my opinion on the matter, and I’ll ofc watch the rest of the season!

I absolutely love the ''Stu is Stew.'' Always cracks me up.. I tell ya the first two Episodes weren't really all that catchy to me but after that I WAS TOTALLY HOOKED.. Great writing and great acting.. I am So Hooked

Thanks for a great review!! Unlike other YT review videos, you two really did watch the full episode. All you said was spot on (other videos are way off even after supposedly watching the 1st episodes). You earned some credibility!! No one has mentioned the monsters at the end who eat (??) the horses. I'm more interested in that than who flew the airplane ( maybe autopilot ). And, their pastime of torturing the guest, not sure why other sites didn't pick up on this. Good job -- keep these videos coming!!

The "fingerprints" are the same, one is flipped, and it looks like the back of a naked body on its knees if you look closely. Really creepy.

Ok two things, one we actually see the ruins of the Witches academy in the teaser trailers, it’s completely gone and in that same shot is Michael with “zombies”(?). So I don’t think the Witches Academy is the sanctuary. Secondly, Coco’s ex boyfriend is coming back. We saw him in the trailer teaser as well, he is underneath Michael Langdon’s carriage looking zombified. :)
Joan Collins "grandma" had nothing to do with getting tickets to the sanctuary. Koko's father said they had 4 tickets and Koko could use them all.
Get your facts down before you try telling us anything about the episodes. And it's "burned" as in freezer burn, not "burnt"
