- Опубліковано 28 вер 2024
- Sharon decided to cook a warming Beef Stew (Casserole) in the Cosori Pressure cooker amzn.to/3OLxGzK with turnips, swede, carrots and onion. We added Maggi Seasoning amzn.to/3u8lRNP salt and pepper and cooked it on high pressure for 25 minutes. We thickened up the stew with a tablespoon of Arrowroot powder amzn.to/3u8rj3k in half a glass of water and added it into the stew to thicken up the gravy.
Hope you enjoy.

Lovely. I freeze any leftovers in a container for single meals and just microwave one when a quick meal is required, usually every day 🙂
Love these meals. We had the same meals each week as a child.
Mondays was beef stew with leftover beef from Sundays roast. It was my favourite meal day.
All our veg was from our garden or allotment. Meat from the butcher on the high street.
Im sure you’re educating thousands of young people who haven’t a clue about English cooking ❤️
I agree on educating, but Nandos is probably packed right now.🙄 I grew up in 70s and 80s, so I think I know the timeframe you mean.
@@realreviews4017 Exactly ,we very quickly learned how to cook a meal ,I was 8 years and cooking Sunday roast all the trimmings with my older sister .Roast potatoes in a giant tin of hot oil ,can't imagine it now.
Yep Mondays we had beef stew or Irish stew if we'd had lamb on the Sunday or chicken casserole. I used to love my mum's chicken & veg soup done in the old pressure cooker because it was the biggest pan so she could make more & do us a few meals with homemade bread😋 The soup was always peppery & had loads of veg in it. Great when it was snowing & we just got in from school. She'd have already warmed up & we'd have that whilst she got out dinner ready😂😂 I think my mum lived in the kitchen because she was always cooking & baking & it used to take all day to do the washing with the old washing machines😂😂
That looks lovely. I put a big squirt of brown sauce in mine. Try it, it's lovely
You can't beat a good stew and dumping. I don't do mine in a steamer l always do my meat in the slow cooker and then steam my veg and l don't seal my meat .It's a good meal for this time of the year thank you so much for sharing its lovely to see all the family together God's blessing to all your family x xx ❤❤
Looked a lovely stew, Martin making out he is having a small bowl. Lol, that old chestnut 👍👍😁
My grandaughter passed as i was watching the video and says, "that looks banging"! So, at her request thats what we're having for tea tonight. 😊
If you want to get rid of the sugar, instead of using baked beans, try using a combination of split red lentils, pearl barley, and yellow split peas, or even add butter beans. I find if I cook my stew long enough, that the red split lentils disintegrate and help thicken up the stew, all you need is a thin layer of each in the bottom of your pot.
Dumplings would be great with that stew. ❤❤
We like a one pot wonder.
That looks amazing ❤
Simple easy cooking always a winner
A brilliant winter warmer with crusty bread that srew looks so so nice if any left put it intubs with lids put jn freezer and when you have them next put a crust on it and you've gothotpots xxxxlove fran xxx
Hi Sharon n Martin I made a rice pudding in the pressure cooker the same one has yours again I ordered one .never had a beef stew done so quick.the rice pudding was lovely. Thanks again for sharing .
Hello Sharron and Martin and family x
Just found your channel and learning so much. Love Merlin and Barney we've always adopted rescue dogs until our last Freddie Labrador puppy. Wondered why Merlin doesn't go walking but have only seen a few so may have missed him. Cracked us both up when you lit the fire and the aerosol exploded. Played it on repeat.😂😂😂
Looks amazing Sharon well done i bet your lovely family enjoyed it all xxx ❤❤❤❤
Lovely , you can't beat a good stew
Hi guys. I loved this "taste sensation" video. Loving the family vibe as a lot of my family are in the UK and I am in NI. Deffo gonna be making that. Just ordered the Arrowroot off Amazon too. Much Love as always xx
Sounds great!
Trying this out today👍have a lovely 🐣 Easter
Thank you! You too!
that looked so good , my sort of food but i would need DUMPLINGS 😉😊
Cant beat a lovely hot stew on a cold day .spot on ❤
Not had a pressure cooker for ages, but cooking for 30 minutes rather than the 5-6 hours the slow cooker takes is a no brainer. That stew looked good. I always add a little Soy Sauce as well
Hi Martin and Sharon, also your lovely family . The stew looks delicious my mouth was salivating and my stomach rumbling 😢😭
Hi this looks delightful yum .thank you .💋💋
🇬🇧🦋lovely jubbly x on my menu for tomorrow x🦋🇬🇧

Ooooooh lovely, I'll be making this at the weekend 😍
Hi Martin and Sharon, i did the same for tea except i used lamb. It cooked lovely and i didn't seal the meat. I think Merlin was expecting a treat

Eating out wl cost martin a fortune in jumpers for Sharon 🔥
That looks lovely ❤x
Add some Pearl barley to it 😛
Lovely video both, nice to see the family popping in and out 💕 I am in need of advice Sharon, a lean beef joint 1.5 kg … slow cook or air fry ?? If AF what temp and how long ? first joint for me as a newbie 😬
Slow cook for 3-4 hours on High.
Thank you ❤
Wow that looks delicious. X
Lovely
Mmmm looks so tasty and tender. Ive never seared my meat either. Is that a cosori pressure cooker?😊
Yes it is!
Fantastic 😮
Thanks 🤗
May I ask, did you notice any difference between the stew setting that you used last time and the pressure setting. I’m definitely not bothering with sealing the meat next time x
The pressure setting is a lot quicker.
My mum as always put a Tim of beans in her stew, also UA-cam as unsubscribed me from a lot of channels including yours, bloody thing.
That arrow root spoon is a dessert spoon not a table spoon, the table spoon is bigger than dessert spoon,,,,,,😀
That is us told 😢
Looks like a tablespoon to me but it doesn’t really matter in this instance.
We are only human and say the wrong things sometimes.😊
Your stew your choice 😊
And ??
Gotta get a pressure cooker. 😊. Aussie Bob XX
Lovley stew no u of carbs but nice pototoes in as well.u both looking great thanks . from karen s. 😊
❤ has veg tastic Mum stopped doing videos
Proper hearty grub, especially during this cold snap we're having. I'd never have thought of putting baked beans in but will give it a go. Great tip also about not having to brown the beef first👌Cheers both.
I added some maggi seasoning to my dog's dinner once now he can't eat anything without it....great stuff and really good for you.
My dog also enjoys maggi seasoning occasionally. Didn't realise it had health benefits too.
After reading your comments I've just been looking into Maggi seasoning & found it has no nutritional benefits at all & is full of the bad fats & calories. If you have it every day it can actually be bad for you. Everything in moderation I guess.......just don't over do it👍
Each to their own, but sealing the meat ads flavour.that can’t be a bad thing
Well I’ve tried that several times but try as I might I can’t taste any difference..Could just be me of course but there you go .
My beef tasted lovely i don't think i lost any flavour it was lovely.
I did lamb stew for tea in the pressure cooker and i didn't seal the meat and it was fine
What's the difference between a pressure pot and a slow cooker they look the same?
A slow cooker doesn't use pressure and has a lot smaller heating element for cooking food over a long period.
@@butlersempire good to know thank you
I have not got a presdure cooker can i use it air flyer
Make it land first 😉
You could cook this stew in a slow cooker. I would cook it on the low setting. Perfect.
@@nicolasmith1460🤣🤣
Omg mmmmm yummy . Xx ♥️
Searing meat doesn't seal it.What it does is to caramelize the sugars in the meat and it builds a little more flavour.
25mins, no fuss, it cooks itself. We've never been fans of readymade meals. Why would we when you can 'cook' meals like this in a P.cooker or a slow cooker.
Think V Thin Gravy = as thick as you like for me!!
Sainsburys do a really cheap own brand low sugar/salt can of beans that are really decent. 'Normal' beans just taste far too sweet.
Ohhh, I was waiting for the dog to jump up and nick some of the beef the minute you walked away from the pressure cooker!
But your dogs are well behaved. Our Bullie Boy is now banished from the kitchen when I'm cooking!!
Compared to an hour and a half to 2 hours on the cooker 😮
I never bother to brown when pressure cooking. I don’t see the point ❤
I love your programs, but you cook such big portions, too much for us loners
I tell my kids that a table spoon is 25mil and a dessert spoon is 15mil but they were taught a dessert spoon is a table spoon ,confusing
Your grandson is yours and garys image
That arrow root really does work a treat👍💯
Yes it does!
Winter coat indoors cracks me up 😂😂😂😂
Just done a bucket full of this for the next couple of days- cracking refresher- thank you!!
got a chicken frame and some saved bones in the slow cooker - onion skins and bits-couple of carrots and leftover fresh parsley will leave it low til tomorrow - then strain and leave to clear ( will sort out remains to feed dogs and cats ) then add rinsed barley and fresh veg leave to stew then serve
with crusty bread and butter - would swop for a bowl of Sharons tho' xxx
Oh baby Frank ❤❤❤
Hi there Folks 😊
Good to see you!!!
One pot WONDER!!!!!!
A marvel. Best tip & idea EVER💯👍👏
Love these one pot meals x
Mmm I could almost smell that. My mum would often do stew, 7 kids 4 adults. It was cheap then and we mostly had breast of lamb stew with dumplings. Great memories prompted by your video. But sadly we never had enough for seconds.
Looks lovely !
Another yummy one Guys! ❤❤
