    Love it. The shine is amazing! Have you noticed your curls loosen at all since being a heat trained natural? Also, how do you keep your ends from feeling dry after a week or so?

      Thanks! No, my curls haven't loosened too much! My ends don't usually get too dry unless I need my ends trimmed. I keep my hair wrapped to retain moisture or I'll add a little leave in conditioner and hair butter. 🙂

    Hey Roxanna
    Thank you so much for all this information. I am bingeing your videos and I was just wondering in one of the videos you mentioned only blow drying and straightening1 x a month. My question would be does it mean your wash day is also 1 x a month to avoid hair from reverting?

    I have that same skinny flat iron for my edges and kitchen area and I really love it. It does a really good job!

    Try the BaByliss pro flat iron (titanium plates). Shiny all around with blue or black details. The exterior is rounded so you can definitely curl and straighten the hair with it. Don't know the actual name, but it should be easy to find it

      I do protein treatments every 2-3 months. I wash/use heat every 3-4 weeks. Sometimes I take breaks! Thanks for watching!

      @@RoxannaReneaWhen you take breaks is that in the form of protective styling ?

    Your hair is nice and shiny love it. Why didn't you use the Tymo straightening comb? Did it not work for your hair?

      Thank you! The Tymo works good on my hair, I'm use to using my Sedu flat iron.

      @@RoxannaRenea Oh ok because after watching your video on the Tymo I went to purchase the same product. I've only used it once and I really like it.

    Roxanna thank you for the hair tips. I'm just a little confused because you said your hair is low porosity and also protein sensitive, but every product you use and recommend is filled with protein.

    • @RoxannaRenea
      @RoxannaRenea  Рік тому +8

      Thanks for watching! Since I use heat my hair needs both moisture and protein to keep it healthy. I use products with hydrolyzed proteins since it is safer for low porosity hair. I don't always use the protein treatments. The one I used in the video is mild. Also, like I mentioned in the video I followed up with a deep conditioning hydration mask that provided the moisture back into my hair. All of the products that I use and recommend are not protein. My conditioners, deep conditioners, and leave ins are all moisture based products.

    Have you had any issues with your scalp? If so what did you do to correct? If not, Do you oil your scalp* after you flatiron or after a few days? Or do you oil at all?
    While flatironed how oftern do you moisturize/ oil your hair*?

    • @RoxannaRenea
      @RoxannaRenea  Рік тому +2

      No, I have not had any issues with my scalp. I don't oil my scalp after I flat iron it because it will make my hair look weighed down and oily. I will add a bit of oil to my scalp only to dry areas about a week before I wash it. I don't use any moisturizer when I flat iron it. I wrap it at night to retain the moisture. Whenever I don't flat iron my hair and only blow dry it, then I will add moisturizer and a bit of hair butter to the ends of my hair. I hope this answers your questions!

    How do prevent the tangles and matting when washing with shampooing and conditioning? I'm struggling with this. Tired of being natural this might be a good route to go. I refuse to go back relaxers but my natural texture is too much.

    • @RoxannaRenea
      @RoxannaRenea  Рік тому +1

      Washing in sections to prevent tangles. Also, use conditioner and a wide tooth comb to make detangling a lot easier.
