I really loved this makeover! In general, what keeps me coming back to your DIY / room makeover videos is that the end product always looks real versus magazine perfect. I can tell this is your Nan's house and it makes the final result seem so much more cozy! Also, I imagine that lamp is perfect for ambient lighting when taking a bath!
It looks wonderful! 👏👏👏 Just one suggestion: As a senior, I'd prefer different colored pump tops for my shampoo and conditioner because, at 68, I'd never be able to read the words on those pretty bottles. Haha.
With the rubber shower door strip, they get really brittle and yellow over time, especially using bleach. With mine, I scraped any adhesive off the shower screen, cleaned it thoroughly and bought a new strip from wickes for about £7. Very easily cut it down to size with a knife. Slid on with no adhesive and it looks perfect months later. Looks so clean, neat & tidy xx The bathroom looks lovely, you did a great job ❤
Needless to add, I’m also inspired to clean my bathroom and give it a new look .. ordered some bottles, sorting out trays and candles and plants for the new look!

I was thinking of you just today. Glad you’re vlogging. I don’t know why, but I love to see you touch up paint as you did. Silly me. I freshened up a wooden plant hanger today that had hung undusted, uncared for, for years. It’s so satisfying to declutter, clean, touch up and make things look nice.
I've been in a mad declutter mode today as well. I took down all the decor in my living room and dining room and kitchen and re did it, just to make it feel fresh again. So inspired but how you used just shift things around you already had and it feels like a brand new space and I can breathe better bc it's more open!
It looks so much better! My daughter used a grout pen and it worked well. I use an old kitchen brush and diluted washing up liquid to clean my shower door seal. They are easy to replace if too far gone.
Great job. For the corner- you can soak a paper towel in bleach and put it on the problem zones over night. Does wonders for black mould affected areas.

I wish you a nice time with your nan :) Also: Even though a lot of people store their medicine in their bathroom it's actually not good to do so, because of the humidity in there.
Great job! It looks so cozy, warm and inviting. I also enjoy seeing a more realistic makeover and how you can make what you have look really great. Even in a smaller space (like I also have ☺️). The one thing that I would change is not having your toothbrushes out in the open. For the same reason you didn't want your hand towels near the toilet. Remember that when you flush, particles whirl up in the air and so always do that with the lid closed 😌
My boyfriend and I just got this stuff called Power Paste, it might be the same stuff you’re using but a different brand but it works great on shower door glass. We just used it today and we were both shocked at the difference!

It looks so nice! The only thing I’d do different is remove the little drawers set under the sink. You could get a cute basket to put the small towels in and place it on the big shelving unit, and maybe move the medicines to a different location. Just my opinion, since there’s already two storage units on the other side. But it looks so nice regardless! Great job :)

You do so much work in your videos, but it comes across as a very soothing and calming experience. You sure had your hands full on that bathroom, it looks like a hoarder's nightmare. So many people have so much more than they need. They buy stuff and then it turns out that they don't like it and they just keep it and keep it and never get rid of it. And then it ends up like this. Your end result is beautiful. The lesson? Do a thorough going over once each season, Don't hoard. Cheers
I got rid of my glass shower screen because I hate cleaning that plastic thing that goes underneath and it never looks clean. Just got shower curtains instead and then stick them in the washing machine every so often. Also, be careful screwing hooks onto the panel part of the door, it's very thin and you might break through to the other side of the door.
You are such an incredible granddaughter!!! I never knew any of my grandparents but I have a 9 month old granddaughter and I want her to know me!!! Love your channel
If you have any photos to pass down could I suggest you annotate them with names and stories for your grandchild. We have a few pictures but we are guessing who they are and have no idea what they were like or any thing about them. Meaningless without stories. We also had to go through a load of photos from when I was a kid to find some of a family friend who died recently and realised how frighteningly few there are of people. I mean, I have about ten photos of myself as a child. Bonkers.

You should clean the shower head with vinegar and water in the bucket. Just leave it to sit in there and you get all the dirt away inside off it. Paula
Glass containers in the bathroom, especially in the shower are a big NO for me. It may be more aesthetic than plastic, but plastic won't slice me up if I knock it off of its ledge.
You are a truly wonderful granddaughter to your wonderful Man. For hard water, calcium buildup like the shower head try vinegar and water. Put in small plastic bag and shower head in hold in place with a rubber band. Leave over night. You could try same solution on shower rubber by filling up water in tub just so it's submerged, water and vinegar place shower head in there too.
Please do not keep any medications in the bathroom as the changes in humidity and temperature can decrease the effectiveness of medications quickly. Medications should always be stored in cool and dry places (unless they belong in the fridge). Thanks 😊

You can buy tile grout whitener
Looks great! you might have more luck with mold/mildrew and discolouration with hydrogen peroxide over bleach!
