i’m afraid of skating my local park. think people will judge me a lot for being a beginner, especially being there by myself :(
most wont. Anyway let them judge, are you there for them or yourself? Ask a friend to go with you even if they aren't skating.
Yeah I felt that way when I started doing bmx freestyle. My best advice to you is to do street until you aren't a complete noob. If you go up to people at the skate park and try and make friends and ask for help they will probably be down aslong as you know the basics and aren't wasting their time
Skater are never the Type of Guys who judge most will help and try to tlel you what you can do better i was skating half of my entire Life from idk 8 Years to 18 almost then i stopt and everyone in the Park and Arena was cool from beginning and i found alot of Friends with them i started to Skate on the Street later aswell so idk dont be afraid just do it Shia Labouf Style jUST DO IT ^^
You just gotta get in there and work at it most wont and some will actually try to give u pointers honestly. We were all beginners once.
Everyone was a beginner at some point. No skater comes out the womb w/ a kickflip locked in. Just gotta start where you are. Anyone making fun is not worth worrying about... they're in it for the wrong reasons.
