Making the date tied to the local time is the correct way, and it's to find out this that led me watch your video, and you just specifically jumped to this point, which is very interesting. JLC in comparison likes to make the wrong configuration by setting the date tied to the home time, while when we travel to a new place, what we want to immediately know is both the local time and date, not the date at home time. What's more ridiculous is the JLC's day/night indicator on some of their dual/world time watches (e.g., their reverso), they many times are on the local time. Why do we need to know the day/night on the local time if we are already physically local..., especially if the date doesn't go with it (so we don't need to know when is a danger zone to adjust the date).

Amazing travel design at a very attainable price in steel. But, at 44mm, it is way too big for most. They should focus on reducing its size; then it will be ideal.

Nice and innovative complication. But, at 44 x 14 mm, that is way too big for a discrete travel watch. That thing will stick out and is too big to fit under a cuff. GO does some truly impressive complications, but they need to focus on scaling their complications to a smaller size.

At 44mm, it is way too big more many wrists. High horology is about keeping the size in reason - that should be 40mm max. Otherwise, great complication. Just get the size down.

High horology has absolutely nothing to do with with keeping a watch below a certain size. This watch is perfect at 44mm as long as you feel it goes well with your wrist, it's stunningly beautiful on the wrist in a very classy way and the spacious dial makes for a clean display of all the details. I'm fortunate to own one in gold with the egg shell dial. It's a true conversation starter. It's a heavy piece however (especially the precious metal versions)..

#216👍👏👏🎉🤑💖 As he says it is for telling time. If the comments are true it is not very accurate. The price in steel couldn't be over $20k!? Beautiful piece but what makes it worth the price?! To my mind it is a thief magnet.

The DST/STD function seems quite confusing:
    1. If I am on the west coast US going to the east coast, the entire country is in DST or STD at the same time, so why would denver only appear under STD?
    2. Isn't the point of taking into account DST/STD to correctly caculate the offset for me? What good is it for the watch to know WHAT the offset is if it doesn't know WHEN and I still need to manually adjust it everytime my home or local timezone transitions in or out of DST. If only this watch had a month so that it "knows" when the DST transition is, then it would truly be a world time watch. Even if it made it more expensive atleasti t would truly do what it sets out to do

Basil El Masri the problem with having DST being determined by the date is that countries change their DST dates (or eliminate them) all the time.

Glashutte is notoriously inaccurate and imprecise. I have a Glashutte Senator 60s in gold and it is the least accurate ANDmost imprecise watch I own. Two friends, owners of Glashutte confirm my experience. A watch for which I paid in excess of $15,000 new from AD should keep time better than +- 16 sec/day after several trips to Glashutte US rep facilities and trip to Glashutte in Saxony. Sorry, I am not as enthusiastic about this watch maker as some of you are. For that price, Patek, Rolex are much better choices.
