I love how the antenna came down to SLAP the shack right at the end!
Amazing 👏 🙀. Tower collapsing onto itself a few times. Excellent work dudes 👏 👍 👌
The channel’s new intro is absolutely epic!
Excellent, it collapses in on itself, admirable as always.
With the recent death of Howard Hessman (aka Dr. Johnny Fever), I totally read that title as WKRP Transmission Tower! 😂
You're not the only one! I did it, too. LOL
Perfectly laid right in the lane they wanted it to. Amazing. Perfect "fold in half".
👍🏼 Audio & new intro are great!
Was it supposed to hit the building 😕 great video as always
pretty sure that building was useless without the tower
Well it's the building of the antenna seems logical that everything would be destroyed.
I'm guessing it didn't matter because the building is probably going to be demolished too. Totally a guess on my part though.
They have a few other videos featuring tall towers like this where the top ends up on or near the building at the base. It must be something in the physics of how they fall, it happens too often to be random.
The best part about these radio towers is just how damn long it takes them to fall down. Start 0:45 End 1:10
OK, who else read this as "WKRP Transmission Tower"?
Nearly perfect! It would have been a real bonus if you'd managed to demolish the building completely using the tower ;)
I can't wait for them to receive their 100k subscriber plaque. 👌
And blow it up!
why no drone shot???
That 2nd angle is the most satisfying crash I've ever heard.
So anyone else catch the irony of the video of the WKRP, er, I mean G tower demolition the day after Howard Hessman Dies?
I LOVE YOUR CHANNEL
Thank you so much!
At 1:06 you can actually see the camera shake. holy shit what a hit
Love the new intro. Great job!!!
I would give it a 10 not too far, collapsed a couple times and folded itself. I wish I could have a job like this. Clean up must take awhile.
Very good, that first view looked like it sank straight down into the ground.
Great job.
The noise🥰 music to my ears!!!
WKRG Transmission Tower Demolished
WKRG Transmission Tower Demolished
Rip Howard Hessman
Had to laugh when the top of the antenna smacked the roof of the building, but, was it supposed to?
They’d say yep…
I really like the new intro!
Perfect, that’s what pro’s do!!
Even helped level the building for ya.
Bruh the bottom is only likes a foot long🤯😱
Was the building condemned too?
At 1:06 it takes a hit, witness the door blasted open.
It is now!
Got kind of tired of packing and unpacking,
town to town, up and down the dial.
Baby you and me were never meant to be,
just maybe think of me once in awhile.
I'm at WKRG in Alaba...
Oh, never mind.
(And RIP Howard Hesseman.)
How tall?
940’ tall, guyed communication tower. Thanks for watching!
Kinda hard to hear you with the music over it
I wonder if that is one my father and grandfather but up
Enjoyed the video and I gave it a Thumbs Up
Sad.
That's what I was thinking too. AM radio was a big part of my life from the 50s onward... and I still listen to it.
So beutiful
The first implosion of the year 2022.
Say, I'm impressive the new intro video of Controlled Demolition Inc.
1:05 Someone left the back door open.
You’re only supposed to blow the bladdy doors off!
buildings destrucion
and the tower fell so the tower fire and it fell
It just fell to house 😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮
Transmitter building doors open.
2:06
That Andrew was in decent shape. Why did they not sell it.
Cost to dismantle it properly versus the cost to set a few M80s and run.
Maybe it was fully depreciated taxwise so disassembling and selling it on costs rather than getting an immediate deduction for the scrapping costs would have made selling it a complicated money loser ?
AKA: Tower be gone!
Doors open during collapse …
Well, as long as it wasn't WKRP :p
The initial crack
The long, elegant tower
Slowly drifts one way
And as it hurries
Toward Earth it becomes a
Whip- smacking the land
Leaving a giant
Steel centipede of scrap
Untold memories
In all seriousness, I wish I could go to work for the Loizeauxs. I don’t have the brawn or the skills. But it would be fun. The videos of transmission towers going down are my favorite of CDI videos.
WICKED!!!!
Meh, I've seen taller ones fall
😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤😅😅😮😢😊
Allot of damn waste there... MAN couple few anythings I'd love to had from that...SHAME no one ever calls me --makes me sick to see so much waste. Hell, I'm not even looking to resell anything, use it myself
Signing Off..........
