      The acrylic paint has been diluted with water and Pouring Medium. Look in the video description of the double Swirl. I wrote more there.

    • @Ella-gb7no

      @I am overdosing ketamine her full name is Safya Nygaard. I know some of you may be annoyed at the people here all from safiya, but think of it this way- tiktus now has all of safiyas viewers watching him because they saw him featured in her video- so more exposure i guess?? a great youtuber imo, if you like tiktus you should watch her pour art video. i like her- she is funny, has great chemistry with her partner tyler, smart (her vocabulary is actually insane), and her voice is so soothing and unique, Her videos are very highly-edited and you can tell after watching a few that she puts a lot of effort into them. Her channel is basically the definition of "quality over quantity". Shes one of my favorite youtubers so she may be your cup of tea but idk lol.
      edit: if you were to watch just a few of her videos just to see who she is if you are curious, i would say watch her bath and body works candle video, her wedding cake video, her lolita fashion makeover, her japanese vending machine video, her mcdonalds wedding video, her makeup organization video, or her pod-hotel video, because those are some of my favorites of hers. Thats what i would recommend if you were to watch a couple of her videos.
      She also got married last year, and thats another favorite video of mine. it was really sweet and she has a whole wedding video thats different to most wedding videos, which is cool. You don't have to watch her and i dont want to force you, but I would really give it a go. Her videos have such a range, you are bound to be interested in one of them.

      I realised one possibility when I saw the Udemy art course ad following the video. Since Udemy probably started an ad campaign, videos that matched their ad subject keywords got promoted and so now, everyone is suddenly seeing art related videos and channels with such videos get more views and hopefully subscriptions. Even the channel owner might be surprised. Just a guess, but considering that youtube is free, they have to try to make money on every video they show.

      No. The Formation of Jupiter took shape when the rest of the solar system formed about 4.5 billion years ago, when gravity pulled swirling gas and dust in to become this gas giant. ... About 4 billion years ago, Jupiter settled into its current position in the outer solar system, where it is the fifth planet from the Sun.
      The core accretion model. Artist's conception of our solar system's solar nebula, the cloud of gas and dust from which the planets formed. ... But farther away, the solar winds had less impact on lighter elements, allowing them to coalesce into gas giants. In this way, asteroids, comets, planets, and moons were created.
      Composed predominantly of hydrogen and helium, the massive Jupiter is much like a tiny star. But despite the fact that it is the largest planet in the solar system, the gas giant just doesn't have the mass needed to push it into stellar status. When scientists call Jupiter a gas giant, they aren't exaggerating.
      They are made up of small bits of dust. The Galileo spacecraft helped us discover where that dust comes from. Meteors striking the surface of Jupiter's small, inner moons kick up dust which then goes into orbit around Jupiter, forming the rings.
      In the thermosphere, temperatures continue to rise, eventually reaching 1000 K at about 1000 km, where pressure is about 1 nbar. Jupiter's troposphere contains a complicated cloud structure. The upper clouds, located in the pressure range 0.6-0.9 bar, are made of ammonia ice.

    I thought of something that will make this even prettier. Maybe not in this color form, but make one as a background and once it dries, add shadowy trees and make a mixture of abstract and realism together. Like an abstract sky and sunset. The trees will make the painting pop even more.

    I attempted my first acrylic pour last night. Was very pleased with the outcome, and let it set to dry over night. When I woke up this morning I noticed some cracks in my painting. It still looks great, and adds texture to the painting, but I'm curious to know what caused the cracks. Could it be because of the temperature in the room last night? One painting cracked more than the other 2. I've also noticed the cracks allowed the gold paint to be more noticeable. Could it be the metalic gold that caused the cracks to appear?

    • @yuno9916
      @yuno9916 5 років тому +30

      this can be the result of too much acrylic on very thin paper

    • @LilFrg
      @LilFrg 5 років тому +18

      Very old or very cheap/ poor quality acrylic could cause this. It could also have something to do with how dry the air is. Cheaper acrylic cracks easily just in general so there could be a lot of possible factors.
      If you have HQ paint then I have no idea besides maybe the air moisture ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ And as the person above said if you didn’t do this on a canvas that could definitely be why.

    • @Tiktusart
      @Tiktusart  5 років тому +32

      Thanks Cam and Sam.
      I suspect stretched acrylic so a cheap variety containing more filler than pigment. Try it with artist acrylic paints that are a bit higher quality.

    • @hellod9641
      @hellod9641 5 років тому +3

      When I do these types of pours and use a lot of paint, I will come back the next morning and there will be cracks where the paint was to thick. To fix this I let paint run off the sides and make sure it’s not to thick and that it’s evenly spread out, hope this helps.
