In this Video, I have shared my experiences of Monastery of Tatev, Armenia. I went Tatev through Hitchhiking & it took me around 2-3 hours to reach Tatev.
Tatev Monastery is one of the most beautiful Monastery is Armenia & it also the most famous monastery of Armenia.
After seeing the monastery, I went back to Goris & there I found that " Larissa " my Host in Goris was watching " BALIKA VADHU " I got shocked, Indian daily soaps in Armenia.

Yeah, the Armenian nobles would live in the mountains, so it would be virtually impossible to control them. They did essentially conquer Armenia, but Armenia was rarely completely conquered. The mountains and Armenian cavalry posed to be a great foe. Alexander the Great for example, he went around Armenia, instead of going through and conquering.

Barely any editing or high class travelling. This is how 99.9% people travel not like Nikhil,Gaurav or BB. They're paid heavily by UA-cam and others but him and Varun teach us the most basic things about traveling in other countries. I live in the US and you're always welcome here in Los Angeles : )

The monastery suffered significant damage during Seljuk invasions in the 12th century and the earthquake in 1136. In 1170, Seljuk Turks plundered the Monastery and burnt some 10,000 manuscripts. The Monastery was rebuilt through the efforts of Bishop Stepanos near the end of the 13th century.

wonderful..i hv visited this place in May, 2017 and find it amaziing. Do you know tandoori things in India brought here by Armenian. There was time in 1800 and early 1900 , thousands of armenian people living in India specially in W.Bengal and Bihar, they were coal miner. And there was a prince from Kannauj who fled India and formed a kingdom in Armenia, almost 2000 years back.
Jay Ranjan you are right. Still Armenian church exists in Calcutta. There is a jetty on Ganga in Calcutta called Armenian Ghat . (Ghat = Boat jetty , in Bengali)

I have done medicine there in yerevan state medical university and lived there for 6 years but not travelled this much. We all students love Armenia so much and love to come again in few months..i know Armenian language and didn't speak in last 8 years.. Would love to come and chat with Armenian families.
