Great review! I love these Insecticon molds. I have the cartoon version of this set. They look fantastic on the shelf with the rest of my Newage figures from season one and two of the G1 cartoon. They are tiny, but they scale well with the rest of Newages figures.
DB I agree NA makes these molds of the insecticons pretty tiny, I have the cartoon deco version. But they're still made really well especially being their size. This version is nice but not my cup of tea though, DB if someone gifted these to me I'd most likely use some fishing line to hang them up next to my Hallmark Megatron on the Christmas tree. Bombshell is my favorite insecticon too, he got brownie points from me above Kickback, & Shrapnel in that awsome episode when he brought Ninja Nightbird to life. Bot mode is definitely better than bug mode. Newage grew in what they can do now and I'm kind of curious as to what these would look like if they completely redid these from scratch.

For shrapnel in insect mode, I push the leg up back at a 45 degree angle to support his backside so he isn't back heavy.
