It is so much different on console, but we still have some control over priority. Maybe I just haven’t figured it all out yet because everything is split between multiple menus. I tell other folks on console to use both type of lock-ons, and learn to select focus targets.
One of the issues I have been trying to work out is why my auto attacks and abilities wont go off on a new mob after the old one dies. I have to wait a couple seconds sometimes before my abilities and AA are able to be used again.. I don't understand. I've gone thru all of the settings and experimented with each option. Is there a combination of options that fix this?

@@CorlaxCory You can zoom out far, which i already did. It does not change the fact that targeting selection and deselection its junk, hence the camera spinning sometimes in PvP when facing multiple opponents.
@@blueddeath1755 yeah i play xbow dagger in large scale pvp and my only skillshot is a knife throwing skill. it ruins that skill too because usually you'd want to use it after shadow strike (which puts you behind the opponent, but your camera is stuck still facing the original direction. the camera stays stuck for like 2 seconds after using shadow strike so if you cast it before the camera unstucks or you don't turn your camera around 180 degrees then you'll 100% shoot it the opposite direction and hit nothing. it's an actual handicap, slows you down when normally you would just cast it instantly after shadow strike. i would consider removing the skill from my bar but it is kind of significant because it reduces enemy healing and movement speed by 60%+
Get hotkeys going to direct target your teammates. Thats the only way for me to play action mode. Action mode in this game is a joke. Shouldve went FULL action combat or just classic without the (not good working*) hybrid stuff.
..while in pvp arena, only clicking the skill shortcuts wouldnt target enemies even if they're right beside me. So I have to click on "E" [basic attack] first.
I wish they would just get rid of the tap target completely. I know it's "impossible" and it will never happen. But in theory it's pretty easy to achieve. Just use a simple Cone Based collision system. Ranged Classes would just Auto Attack just like 3rd person FPS for example Fortnite or GTA. The Melee Classes would work the same just in close range. If you reach the hit box you do damage, if you don't you don't. AoE skills would work the same as they already do. The only skills they would need to rework would be "target" skills. And swap them to cones. For example: Skill - Guillotine. You charge it and land it in a Cone area. Any one in that small cone area takes the damage. Without any stupid tap targeting and skill getting randomly cancelled whenever your character moves. This game could become the God tier with a system like that.

Thing is you have to be in classic mode for this. .side note, are these new skills of your build? I'm following your build and they're are different in this vid.

Nearest target in a 90 degrees cone in front of the character is such a big issue for Asian games ... same issue in any DS, Final Fantasy XIV and TL ... why is that?
Targeting in this game is dogshit, this healer frame (2nd target) shouldnt exist either. IF you want to heal someone you take their targets, having 2 targets is dogshit. Also for people who walk pressing both mouse buttons you target random allies all the time with this cuz they are close to you

I just really dislike that you can target an Enemy and Ally at the same time, and escape doesn't cancel both.

Protip on controller. If you need to heal yourself you can HOLD B to drop all targets and now your heal spells auto target yourself.

There is a setting which is called Skill Queue or something like that. Try turning that on.

There is, I believe ctrl + X. I have my F1 - F6 keys bound to party members, with me being F1 - by targeting myself, it also drops the target on ally

Get a PC if you actually enjoy the game, start saving up and just do it. You’re extremely limited on console.

Action mode is for travelling in the world but absolutely not for fighting in any case
Healerd must have allied shortcut order by muscle memory. Only way to make it work effectively
