One of my sons gifts is a Ryans Toy Review giant egg. He wants one more than anything. Funny story to go with it. We were at Walmart Friday and he picks up the giant egg, kisses it, and says, “don’t worry, Santa is coming very soon”.😂😂😂 my witty 4 year old.

Yes paint your cabinets, it would look great and make that nice dark countertop pop. Don’t do it yourself! That’s a huge job, pay a professional. You could totally make a video about it. I watch Kimmy at “She’s in her Apron”, she had hers painted- huge difference. It transformed the whole kitchen. Bless someone who does that for a living.

The 2 main things my 5 year daughter has asked me for is a Pomsie and an RC scooter for her Baby Born. She also talks about these Rescue Runts? They are like scruff a luvs. I always love picking up some educational lift the flap books for her, and this year I picked up "look inside your body" and "Questions and answers about your body". To store my oils I use something like you do but it has a lid. It’s a box with little partitions in it but it’s also see through. I think it is originally for lips sticks.

My heart aches for your brother's family too. We are about to wrap up our 7th deployment ourselves and, sadly, number 8 is already on the calendar. I feel you on the hot Christmas. When we lived in CA, it threw me off so bad when it was hot at Christmas. And palm trees just aren't festive! Chop your potatoes before you boil them and they'll cook faster! On occasions when I have been in a rush, I will slice them thin and they cook super fast!

I’m a military spouse & my husband has been deployed since October & won’t be back until May. It’s definitely hard on the both of us since we have a baby who’s 10 months today & unfortunately my husband missed her first Halloween, thanksgiving , Christmas ,New Years & will also be missing her first valentines, birthday & Easter. It stinks but we try to stay as positive as we can be.

My husband deployed October 2011 so he missed Thanksgiving and Christmas that year. We celebrated with my dads side of the family early for my hubby. They really wanted us to feel the love! ❤️ it was bittersweet.
