I got one for $120 with upgrades from Stockton,CA thank you Bryant! Honestly I haven’t had great computers in my lifetime so this is actually my best computer ever lol
The E5450 has a secret - details are sketchy online, however can confirm an M.2 NVME SSD 2242 drive will fit, without issues. I know this as I've just put one in for my Linux build I'm working on. You'll need a sector on the main drive so BIOS sees the boot sector - think windows is a bit more seamless out the box so to speak, but Linux will definitely SEE the drive. It's getting to boot that will need a bit of work May make a vid documenting the process, as there's just so little info out there. They are truly overlooked machines aren't they?
An SSD will fit? Woohoo! Can you link me to a product you recommend? (For gaming and streaming, not for business) and I need a "Sector" too for BIOS to detect the SSD? Can you please link me to a video or blog on how to insert SDD into Dell Latitude 5450? Also I have a Windows 10 Pro not Linux, I hope it will still work
@shaielecheverria5750 Its very good performance wise because it for me, it hasn't had any issues. It also runs alot of tasks since it's 8gb. I do recommend a wifi adapter, but it's optional since it runs smoothly
i bought one several months ago for 225 pounds, i think thats around 82 million Canadian, but mine has a camera in it like everything else here in Britian , the bus, the train, buildings, doorbells, footballs, mice and pigeons! all now have HD 4k cameras in them.
Actually i have the one with VGA intel HD 5500, but i would like to change the VGA card or make it Dual VGA is it possible? And whats is recommended VGA card for this LAPTOP?
@@bobsyouruncle8966 to add to this, people often overlook the demands of the OS on resources. Which is weird as it's the basis for the machine actually working... I digress, yeah... If you have an older machine, a stripped down OS can be the edge needed to do some technomancy.

@@MikeDancy thanks ! You know how can put the maximum frequency to 2.80ghz 2.90ghz
Can I use windows 11 in it? Please reply
try it. it should work.
@@MikeDancy will it run smoothly though? Thx
I had Windows 11 then switched to Ubuntu. Windows boots slow, gets hung up, and just generally not a great experience on older machines.
