I refuse to shop at this costco location simply because of the garbage parking lot, it is literally insane and costco is entirely to blame. They have had decades to fix that parking lot and have not done anything. Costco is really becoming just another corporate joke.

This isn’t surprising for the area. I worked there 30 years ago when a man I worked with took the address off a woman’s check, went to her home and abducted her, detained her and raped her. He was someone I worked with! Absolutely frightening. So sad for this woman’s family. Hope the man is caught!

This is how mainstream media describes black assailants, murderers and other criminals.
What is most concerning is that the public is being asked to provide information on both the murderer and the victim. This is not the way things work. When public safety is a priority there is an immediate investigation which leads to a press conference and subsequently the public is made aware of the perpetrators and safety measures. It is becoming painfully apparent that citizens need to be prepared for these atrocities no longer taken seriously by the agencies that once protected the public.

I’m sure they had this person in custody at one point probably on robbery charges and released him till they kill someone,system doesn’t work it protects the criminals until the worst case scenario comes around. I think that, if you are going to get 'citizen reaction' vids, you should (at the very least) tell us about the citizen heroes that ran to this woman's aid and stayed with her until fire/rescue got to the scene. These heroes are very traumatized by it and need some help. And prayers. Yes, prayers for the victim and their family. But support for those that have no training in dealing with the aftermath, but stepped in to TRY despite little hope of saving her life. Heroes. Let us not forget our heroes when they need us most.

Back in the late 90's I used to travel to that area frequently for work with Boeing. Usually stayed at the Embassy Suites near that Costco. Back then the area was nice and I never worried about going out. I wouldn't go anywhere near the Seattle area now. Nothing in the metro area around there is worth visiting. The WA state residents only have themselves to blame for the mess but they're too clueless to connect the two dots between the people they voted for and the problems they created. It should be easy to figure out, you have have to make a connection between two actions yet there's this extreme level of cognitive dissonance going on.

What I noticed is the police have no limits on technology or resources and yet they still couldn't stop it. Where are they telling us the truth about personal responsibility for our own safety? What they need is some indication of the parking lot capacity left and the current line into Costco that I could check before I make the trip.The store itself is fine.
