One must be very careful removing the battery pack. I have broken the plastic base several times and had to order another on line. We love these seats. 🙏🏻for commenting.
It is a very ingenious attachment system. In the latest lighted toilet seat, they changed the mechanism and it doesn’t work as well. Thanks for commenting.
Press the on/off button and the light will reset/come on and stay on for 10 hours and will come on again the next day at the same time. term any time you press the button the light will reset and stay on for 10 hours. Change the intensity of the light by pressing it more than once.
You’re welcome. We’ve had our lighted toilet seats for years and love them. We even bought a lighted toilet seat for the place we rent from a friend in Maui. We only stay about a month. When we return I have to replace the batteries. The plastic base on the battery pack breaks off very easily so I have to be careful to put the pressure on on the circuit board. 🤙🍀
The new seat is completely different. I am working on an updated video that I will post today. If you subscribe to my channel and press the bell next to the subscribe button you will be notified when it is posted. I bought a new seat and noted this right away. Kohler explains changing the batteries in their online manual but they leave out some important details.
It stays on for 10 hrs, then shuts off. It will come on at the same time the next day unless it is restarted before then. The light helps you find the toilet in the dark, before you wounld move it. A motion sensor might be a good idea. 👍 🙏🏻
You are welcome. We love our lighted toilet seats. Be very careful when you take the battery pack out because clear plastic panel snaps off very easily.
@@jameslesterbaldwin9841 I appreciate your support. I'm here at Lowe's buying it now because of your help.I have another concern about the batteries location. Can it get wet? Or dirty?
Timer just runs for 7 hours once you turn it on and starts again at the same time you turned it on from there forward. Hold the button down to turn it off if it's been on during the day or what and start it when you'd.like it to start.
Thank you Mr. Baldwin! 💪 Great video. Short and sweet, covers all the bases.
Thanks
You will be my forever Grandpa , thank you for this 🫡 .. YOU SIR ARE THE BEST!!

Thanks Brother Baldwin. I had no idea what to do. Light been out for six months.
Oh my, thank you. Was figuring I had to unscrew the whole toilet seat from the base to replace those batteries.

Could you please explain how to set the timer so the night light is on at night. Mine is on during the day at present. Thanks

New seat 2024 doesn’t have easy seat removal? Am I missing something?

Does it stay on all the time? Should just come on when the seat is moved

Did you get this figured out? Check out my recent video. The bracket has changed.
It worked just as you described, thank you!
You're welcome!
My boss would like to say, “Thank you for showing my dumbass how to do this. Can’t believe it was that simple.”
There is a new version that is more tricky. Stay tuned. Thanks for watching. 👍
Thank you Mr.Baldwin

How do you set up the timer again?

Very helpful! Thank you.
Wish I had watched this before I broke the plate off of mine! 😖 Thank god for hot glue guns!!
I’ve broken off two plastic bases. They are tricky to glue. Replacements are available on line if your repair fails. Thanks for commenting.
Thank you big help
