Maine is a beautiful state, but don't just hang around the coast. The Moosehead Lake/North Woods are gorgeous. Seebomook, Pittston Farm, Canada Falls are all beautiful. We spent a day kayaking at Lobster Lake, another at Loon Lake, and didn't see another soul. Edit: be prepared though. The roads are very very rough logging roads. We had a piece of shale slice the tire on our truck on the Golden Road. No AAA or Good Sam there, no cell service! Changing a tire on a big pick up by ourselves was loads of fun. 😉
Jump off the Treadmill so very true! There is so much to see all over Maine! The Rangley Lakes area is awesome no matter what time of year it is and Moosehead is great as well. Nothing beats Maine lakes! You definitely don’t want to take an RV down those logging roads! 😳Thanks so much for watching!
I just discovered your channel and love it. I have watched I few of your videos so far in particular order. I really enjoyed the images of Maine. As a tractor trailer driver I have spent a lot of time in the north east region of the country. The company I work for sends I truck and trailer every year to Maine to pick up wreaths for Wreaths Across America. I have had to honor of making this trip and hopefully this year I will be returning. Safe travels to you all.
James Wilson glad you found us, happy to hear you have been enjoying some of the videos! That’s awesome, I hope you get the wreath job again this year! So if you’re out of the truck walking around the trailer can you smell the wreathes?
That is the bonus about having your RV on your buddy’s property. It’s like you each can carry on your life regimens but not intrude or wear out your welcome. I visit my nephew in VT usually for a month and since he has a 16; acre tree farm there are some great spots. He puts me away from the house by a pond overlooking the valley. Yes this is a great idea. Another nephew I park in the driveway. It’s all fun if you figure it out.
Finding Our Someday I volunteer work at the VT nephews Landscaping business and always offer to help with any projects they have. When you are a helper you always are welcome back. You are right though, both those guys are always there for me too. They text me way more than my own kids. BTW, in FL now and getting the idea from one of your videos past, I’ve arranged for volunteer work at Everglades Outposts. I love the glades and swamps too. Thanks for all the great ideas!
Lois Young we have heard great things about that lighthouse! We have never RVed Maine and this time home was just for the wedding and to see family. So many places to explore still in our home state. Thinking we will need a whole summer! 😎
My girlfriend and I love your channel, I'm also from Maine my Mom and Dad live 10 minutes from Portland Head Light. We're starting our trip from Dallas all the way up to Maine on June 26. My family has a beach house at Higgins Beach of all places, so it really made me smile when you mentioned Higgins in your video. It's been in our family for several generations. SO, it looks like we'll just miss you guys! Our plan is to escape Dallas for the summer and enjoy all that Maine has to offer from 'home base' at Higgins Beach. We have a Montana Fifth wheel and love it. So great to see fellow Mainers! Take Care
Scott Leary we used to rent a house on Vesper St at Higgins every summer. It was such an amazing community there. I used to love to do the 4th of July parade every year. Sounds like you guys have a pretty epic summer planned! We really like the Montanas. We are currently hanging out with friends who are full-timing in one! We hope to hit Dallas in the late fall.
Very cool. Our place is on Morning St at Higgins. What a small world. We will be there for the 4th. It's a Maine thing, and always feels like coming 'home' even though we call Texas 'home' now. If you're ever in North Texas it would be nice to meet you all and exchange 'Maine' and travel stories. We will be back here in North Texas by the fall!
You had us hooked within the first 30 seconds of this video! Donuts, lobster and waterfalls!! Love Maine and you guys showed it so well:-) 💙 We went through NH waaaaay too quickly when we were in the area. That trail looks beautiful!
The McMillan Express thank you so much for saying so! Maine has so much to see and explore. The White Mountains have some ridiculous trails, so I hope you get to go back someday! Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment!
Just stumbled upon your channel from your Badlands video' great video! I was there 40 years ago (what an awesome place) during an RV trip to the Calgary Stampede, that trip was the most fun we had as a family! Then I realized you were from Maine, I live in Gray (Originally a NYer, here since '88)! Small World! I appreciate the encouragement Adam! We were in Gray a lot, we lived in Windham before we hit the road! It really is a small world! 40 years ago, wow! You definitely need to go back I’m sure so much has changed (unfortunately probably not for the better, but you never know😃) hope you can make it back out on the road soon, it seems to be calling you 😎

Higgins Beach is our favorite Maine beach.. we use to stay at Breakers Inn B&B right across the street from the beach!! My ancestors John Mayne & Elizabeth Mayne were the first (1620) to settle in what is now called Portland.. Cape Elizabeth I believe was named for her.. several of their children were killed in an Indian raid and at that point is when Maine (Mayne) was named or referred to by name Mayne. We are Christians and we did plan on going the the Church in Biddeford but we were to lazy Sunday mornings while on vaca.. lol We're planning on going full time Lord willing in 2020 and hope to catch you guys somewhere someday!!

Hey folks !! AWESOME video, ... I myself live in Massachusetts, but I spend quite a bit of time off along the Maine coast... (from Old Orchard Beach up tp Bar Harbor / ACADIA area .... ) Your drone footage of Portland Light was truly the BEST that I have seen yet !!! Really GREAT that you showed it from ALL seasons too :) :) :) :) "Thank you" for sharing it !! Rick S.
Rick S. The Maine coast is pretty awesome! That’s a huge compliment on the drone footage, I really appreciate it! Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for watching 🙏😊
Brian Fasulo definitely have to deal with bugs. Hard to tell some years which is worse, the mosquitoes or the black flies!😬 Where in Maine were they pestering you? 😂 It was a tight squeeze but we made it! Thanks for watching!
David Behrens Hope you are able to get there SOMEDAY! It is a beautiful place to explore from June through September. Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to comment!
Maine to Alaska, now that’s a road trip! I can’t wait to see it. And you guys so make me miss eating seafood in Maine. I had to laugh when you said about going to the Hannaford in Portland, back when I drove truck, for 2 years straight I delivered to the Hannaford distribution center in south Portland on a Monday night.
Jack Miller we know the exact distribution center you are talking about. That’s awesome! Really excited about sharing Alaska and everything in between. Thanks for watching!
Loved this video of you shoeing Maine. That is one state I have never scene pictures of. It looks beautiful there. Love the lighthouse. Glad you visited your family. It is always great to visit with family. Like the lobster fest. I’m not a lobster fan that much. Our friends used to own a fish market I. Harbor Springs Michigan. They had live lobster and crab. They had them in a big tub and I used to look at them until ours friends told us not get close because they’ll grab hold of your nose. So I jumped back. Never went to that tub again to look at them. I say the same thing see you soon because when you good bye then you’ll won’t see them for a long time. Can’t wait to see next video which will be soon. I’ll see you all soon. Have a great weekend.
You are so right about communicating with RV repairs. The bigger the dealer, the worse the problem. You never get to tell the repairman what the problem is. You may also get a "service advisor" who has no idea how anything works, all he's doing is writing the service order, so he won't properly convey your problem. It's like that high school game where one person tells a fact to another, and by the time it gets around to the last person, you don't even recognize it.
Allen S exactly! It is so hard to convey something to someone who doesn’t really understand how something on your RV or car works. We recently had work done to our truck and I would only talk to the mechanic because the service manager didn’t understand what we were hearing and feeling on the road. The mechanic drove it for 2 minutes and knew exactly what was wrong and then did the work. Makes such a huge difference when you can talk to the technician/mechanic directly. Thanks so much for taking the time to comment! We really appreciate it!
Great views of Portland Head Lighthouse. That brings back great memories, too. When I flew the 727 into Portland, it was a key landmark for visual approaches into PWM. Great layovers, too. Mmm, lobstah. That looks totally awesome and stirs more memories. Right outside the main gate at NAS Brunswick was Oceanway Lobster Pound. I'd stop there on my way home to pick lobsters for $1.25 a pound--the good old days. Looking forward to catching up on the rest of your episodes.
Just discovered your channel...getting my first RV in May...being from Maine, too I love seeing these beautiful spots that never get old!! Really enjoying following your journey!
Frank Mitzen we have a stop in Wyoming and wanted to do Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, Banff and Jasper on our way up so that dictated our route. We can’t wait to explore eastern Canada someday though! Thanks so much for watching and commenting!
Ok Corey, you have been busy this week setting up playlists. Thank you!!! I guess. The Northeast is a place neither my wife nor i have been to. She did some work in Boston but never really had time to explore. Due to my retirement deferral (That's what my father-N-Law calls my teenage son) we are putting that trip off till 2022 but that will be our first long trip in the camper. I will count on you to tell us some places to stay, see and eat. Oh!!! i would love to get a still of the sunrise you used in the very beginning of this video.......WOW!!!! Gorgeous!!!!!
You’re welcome, glad it’s helping! Better late then never(to setting up playlists and you making the trip 😃) I’m not sure what sunrise shot your referring too?
It might seem annoying and redundant, but the majority of life’s problems could have been prevented with better communication. Same thing with vehicle work 😂
Another fine episode! Really liked Season 1 and we're looking forward to Season 2! Don't take too long starting it! As I said in your last episode, Maine looks awesome! You just have to keep teasing with the sights in the episode, don't you? Lol! Be safe in your journey to Alaska!
New Hampshire Joe thank you! And if we had had Fisherman’s Catch come and do the lobster bake, there would have been streamers and corn on the cob with our lobstah! 😉
@@FindingOurSomeday oh no! Missed this. Dubois, Lander, Cody, Thermopolis, Buffalo, Tetons and Yellowstone. Ten sleep 😉. Wind river mountains! You guys are pros now. Still say the Buffalo Bill museum in Cody is the best! Smithsonian of the west!!
Another wonderful video. That there is some huge crawfish. I love lobster... If you're ever in Louisiana at the right time of the year, let us know and we'd love to get you some crawfish.
Wow, if season-2 is going to be Alaska...gonna be hard to top that! We visited Maine last year and totally fell in love with it (as I sit here in Myrtle Beach 🏖 watching your video!)! Safe travels, ant wait to see your journey. You’ll love Yellowstone, Tetons and the west in general - SO amazing!
Tom D. Benjamin Alaska has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember. Can’t wait to share it with everyone. So glad you have had a chance to visit Maine! Myrtle Beach is pretty amazing, too! Thanks so much for watching!
Love Maine, my relatives live in Kennebunkport and Scarborough and the coastline of Maine is one of my favorite places to visit especially in the summer, I'm from Delaware and an extra bonus is getting away from the humidity. I've only seen the Portland lighthouse from a boat definitely need to put it on my to do list next time i'm up that way and check out some of the other things in the area. Thanks for the beautiful video it brought back allot of memories of the beautiful port towns up that way, anywhere near water is great place to be.
We left Maine last Monday and absolutely loved the Portland area. Thank you so much for your video on tolls, it helped save money on our trip back south to Georgia.
Love your video. We leave for Alaska at the end of the month. We’re headed for Homer. Maybe we’ll see you on the road. We plan on being in Main in the fall.
Really happy for all your adventures. I've been a fan seance you were in Alaska and helped LJMJ. Your kindness while on the road really made an impact for me. Always a fan. If ya happened to go thru Erie PA. Give me a heads up.
Hoss thanks so much for following along with us. We had a blast with Nathan and Marissa and are glad we were there to help! We have so much to explore on the East Coast in the RV. Can’t wait for the history of PA!
@@FindingOurSomeday that would have been neat to see y'all IRL. We're onto Boston! We're 11 days into our trip. Of course it took us 5 days just to drive the 2300 miles to Maine!
I'll be curious to hear how you liked WalMart surfing. WalMarts in Wyoming will be world's apart from WalMarts in say, Chicago! I want to do it more, but I'm hesitant because of the exposed feeling of any parking lot. Maybe I'll start with Cracker Barrel.
Allen S we like the app AllStays so we can see the reviews of every Walmart, Cabela’s and Cracker Barrel. We can also google map everyone to see how easy it would be to pull in or out. You can’t beat Cracker Barrel for breakfast though! 😋
Keep growing the channel. Your videos and photos are iconic and your videos just keep getting better. You guys are awesome. Really love the authentic friendship and love you both obviously share with each other. Suggestion: slow down lol you are pushing hard like it's going to end soon. You're full time 😁
Scott Bent lots more videos to come! Thank you for your kind words. We really appreciate it. As far as slowing down, we don’t know exactly how long we will be able to do this. We don’t have the financial freedom to do this indefinitely at this point, so we are trying to get as much in as we can! 😃
Planning a beach trip to Maine. Is Portland good destination? Meeting family and doing a house rental . Definitely want to do that lighthouse. Higgins beach! Aha!
I JUST HAVE TO SEE IT I GET IT. WATCH YOUR PETS OR SOMEONE ELSES YOU GET THE OILS OFF THEIR COATS / FUR TOO. PLUS IF SOMEONE USES YOUR / THEIR TOOLS SAME THING! YOU DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT IT AND FIND OUT LATER & MAYBE END UP IN THE HOSPITAL ! BE SAFE ! ENJOY !
Jeff Patrick You are correct, we were in Alaska with LJMJ, this is leading up to last summer. We weren’t sure what our future held when we first started traveling so we didn’t want to waste time editing....it’s been a big learning curve for me. Thanks for watching 🙏
I absolutely love your videos, your editing skills are epic! Looking forward to your new season. I was curious on how you handle schooling for the girls? I am in my early stages of going fulltime and I have a middle schooler. Just curious on what method you guys chose and if it's working. Thanks, happy travels!
Shareyoursparkle thank you! There has definitely been a learning curve with editing, so I appreciate your compliment! We use an online program for our girls with a math and spelling supplement. Allinonehomeschool.com, Teaching Textbooks, and All About Spelling. Then all of the places we visit have so much history, science and art built in. You can message Jess on our Instagram or Facebook @findingoursomeday if you have any other homeschooling questions. When do you launch?
E House so glad you are getting to go to Maine! And September is one of the best months to visit in our opinion. If you only have a short period of time, we suggest Acadia National Park. So much to do and see as well as it is close to Bar Harbor so you really get the Maine experience. When time is short, we always suggest pick one or 2 things and do them well. Don’t try to fit a million things into 4 days because you will only be scratching the surface! Hope you all have an amazing trip! Thanks for watching!
If you like the coast, Camden Hills State Park has nice facilities, close to town with great things to do (www.maine.gov/cgi-bin/online/doc/parksearch/details.pl?park_id=14). Busier touristy places like Acadia and Bar Harbor are also OK if you're into that. There are a few camping sites in the Popham Beach area (none at the state park but it has one of the best beaches in the state - www.maine.gov/cgi-bin/online/doc/parksearch/details.pl?park_id=22). There's also the overtly touristy Old Orchard Beach area. With only 4 days, you'd probably spend a good portion of two of them getting to/from Acadia... towing, it's a good 5.5 / 6 hrs from the border of New Hampshire with Summer traffic. If you want a Maine Coast experience, I'd find someplace mid-coast (like the aforementioned Camden) and day trip up / down Route 1 (Bath, Rockland, Camden, Belfast, Castine, Ellsworth). Lots of little towns, lobster shacks, etc. If you want touristy / foodie, find something in the Portland / Saco / Old Orchard area and poke around Freeport, Portland, Saco, Kennebunk/Kennebunkport. My $0.02.
@@rvmaineiacs154 Thanks for the suggestions! I've allotted for 4 full days in Maine, plus a travel day on either end to get to and from there (coming from NH beach and going to Boston). Does that change any of your suggestions? I want to do Acadia just b/c it's a national park and we love national parks, but I'm not into touristy things or crowds, and we can't eat out so we're not really into town stuff. We have two kids, middle elementary and jr. high, so we usually keep hikes under 3 miles. We live in a land-locked state far far from the coast so I know seeing the coast is a must. Would we need camping reservations? I know Maine has a TON to do...it's just a matter of what can you actually do in 4 days without spending the whole time driving all over the state? :) Thanks in advance for your opinions!! I don't even know anyone who has been to Maine!
@@E_House Well, I've been here all my life :-) . I'm from the Augusta / Waterville area. So this changes things a bit in my opinion if travel days aren't figured into your 4 days. Absolutely yes to reservations in Bar Harbor. Bar Harbor Campground is one of the better ones but there's also a KOA just as you get onto the island. There are some easy / very easy hikes - acadiamagic.com/acadia-hiking-trails.html and if you have mountain bikes the Carriage Roads are fantastic (there are places to rent them in town too) - acadiamagic.com/acadia-biking.html. I'd stay off the loop road with bicycles and kids. If you bike, put in at Eagle Lake and ride up to Jordan Pond house, chill for a bit at that beautiful spot and ride back. Things to see while there - Thunder Hole, "Sand Beach", Whale Watching tour or Windjammer cruise. In town is great with ice cream shop and such or hang out in the park / docks and check out the ships. As far as where else... I really enjoy Camden Hills State Park, I know I already mentioned it, but it's beautiful with carriage trails for biking and some easy hiking and great views from the top of Mount Battie (which you can drive up). The town is quintessential Maine postcard with a park near the water, requisite ice cream shop, some tall ships. I'd take it over Boothbay Harbor. The State Park does have hookups and does have some first-come-first-serve non-reservable sites, so that can be a bit of a crap-shoot, but generally pretty good during the week.
Great video. We have a place in Casco and it was so cool to see places we are familiar with but not necessarily seen. Just bought a Rockwood ultralight and can’t wait to take it out. What church do you attend in Maine?
Sheila Sabella we lived in Windham and our boat was on Big Sebago Lake. We are very familiar with Casco.😃 Congratulations on your new rig! We attended Windham Assembly for years and some others in the area that are great as well like Mechanic Falls Vineyard, Refuge Church in Windham and Jess’ mom goes to Life Church in Gorham. Thanks so much for watching!
You're not lobster fans? Nice waterfall and good tip on when to go there. The steak looked a tad bit overkilled, I'm sorry, overdone. I know Tony's. 2020 Alaska run? A little late for 2019 or is this video from earlier this spring? Great video guys, Thanks
Mark Reynolds glad you enjoyed the episode! The steak is actually a brisket, the trick with brisket is actually over cooking it slowly. I like my steak at around 135 degrees, brisket and a pork shoulder you bring to 200 slowly for the fat to break the meat down. This video is actually from last summer😳😃
Ed Moore no you didn’t miss anything! We didn’t start editing videos right away because of the time it takes and because we didn’t know if we would travel beyond a year. Now that we have made the decision to keep traveling, we wanted to start our channel from the beginning. So you will be seeing all of our trip to and through Alaska in the next couple months. We have a plan to be totally caught up in a few months. Thanks for taking the time to comment! Hope you will still follow along!
"Met" you guys through Less Junk More Journey and started following you then. Looking forward to seeing Alaska again through your eyes. We are visiting central Florida spring this summer. Still one more year before retiring and goi g "most time". Great videos.
Paul webb thanks for following along with us even though we are delayed in time. 😃 Really excited to share our Alaska experience with everyone. So glad you are going to be checking out the springs in Florida. Juniper is our favorite so far though they all have something great to offer. Best of luck in retirement and getting out on the road!
RVMaineiacs so very true! We were home for the wedding and to see family, so we only got to hang out at local places. Paul McGuire thank you for your comment and kind words. So glad you are joining along side us on this journey. 🙏
Mosquitoes in Maine? Bahaha! Yes they were wicked last weekend. Nice job on video and not taking out mailbox.
Brian Fasulo definitely have to deal with bugs. Hard to tell some years which is worse, the mosquitoes or the black flies!😬 Where in Maine were they pestering you? 😂 It was a tight squeeze but we made it! Thanks for watching!
Great video. We have wanted to go to Maine Someday. I loved the shots of the Light House and looking forward to eating Lobster. :) Thanks for sharing.
Love lobster ... LOVE Lighthouses ... loved this video!! I've always wanted to visit Maine. Thanks for the adventure. :)
Maine and Vermont are high up on the travel destination list. Great video Corey.
Nathan Jones thanks, man! Maine and Vermont especially in August and September should be on everyone’s list!
Maine looks absolutely beautiful...looking forward to season 2! Wishing you all the best in your travels 😍
Daria Catenacci thank you for watching and taking the time to comment! We are excited to share Season 2! 😁
Loved the falls...I felt sprinkles lol...beautiful!!
Maggie glad the video gave you that feeling! It was a beautiful and felt great after our hike! Thanks for taking the time to comment! 🙏
I’m so glad you found us! We actually fly back to Maine in our next video😃 thanks for watching, have a great rest of the week!
And congratulations on the new rig! What are you getting?
@@FindingOurSomeday We're getting a Foretravel Grandvilla 36 foot diesel pusher (we'll fondly refer to her as Lucille)...its older, but beautiful!
If your planning to go to Alaska, have you considered going across Canada from New England. It might be a little bit shorter.
@@FindingOurSomeday 0:05 - 0:09 in the season finale! Maine Lobster
As a mechanic, I concur about “over communicate” the problem.
It might seem annoying and redundant, but the majority of life’s problems could have been prevented with better communication. Same thing with vehicle work 😂
Maine is gorgeous, thank y’all for sharing.
Puddin Tang it really is a beautiful state. Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to comment!
Another fine episode! Really liked Season 1 and we're looking forward to Season 2! Don't take too long starting it! As I said in your last episode, Maine looks awesome! You just have to keep teasing with the sights in the episode, don't you? Lol! Be safe in your journey to Alaska!
ShoHashi haha, we won’t take long, already working on the next episode 😃
We are just across the border in NH.....welcome home BTW you need some steamers with that Lobster
New Hampshire Joe thank you! And if we had had Fisherman’s Catch come and do the lobster bake, there would have been streamers and corn on the cob with our lobstah! 😉
@@FindingOurSomeday YUMMMMMMMMMM
We love love Love Wyoming. Excited for you!!
Wells On Wheels Wyoming is still like the great Out West. It has been a dream for a long time! What are your favorite places there?
@@FindingOurSomeday oh no! Missed this. Dubois, Lander, Cody, Thermopolis, Buffalo, Tetons and Yellowstone. Ten sleep 😉. Wind river mountains! You guys are pros now. Still say the Buffalo Bill museum in Cody is the best! Smithsonian of the west!!
So excited for the Alaska trip.
Lou💚
Eat Sleep RV Repeat can’t wait to share it! Thanks for watching guys!
Another wonderful video. That there is some huge crawfish. I love lobster... If you're ever in Louisiana at the right time of the year, let us know and we'd love to get you some crawfish.
Can't wait to see Alaska with you! Going back to the beginning and I know you all were new at this but it was so good!
Lots of adventures ahead, will be a great year for you as a family. Enjoy the journey, one day we will be there as well.
Randall H can’t wait for you guys to start your big adventure! These places will all be here when your ready! Thanks for watching!
We have been to Maine. Camden , Lincoln Ville ,Rocklin, Mashel Piont. Lost other places.
Loved the vid!!!
Hooked On The Dream thank you for taking the time to comment! We really appreciate it! 🙏
We left Maine last Monday and absolutely loved the Portland area. Thank you so much for your video on tolls, it helped save money on our trip back south to Georgia.
Burch family Adventures this really makes us happy to hear! So glad it was a help! Glad you enjoyed Maine so much. Thanks for watching!
Yep, nothing like a lobste! Claim bake through in a nice NY Serlion and you are in.
Lawrence Constantine yeah, we pretty much just love food, especially in Maine! 😋
Maine has been our favorite state so far :) amazing video guys!
journey2fifty thanks so much for watching and taking the time to comment! It is such a beautiful state and one we love to come home to!
Love your video. We leave for Alaska at the end of the month. We’re headed for Homer. Maybe we’ll see you on the road. We plan on being in Main in the fall.
Wonder Where 2 Wander that’s awesome, we are bound to cross paths somewhere! This Alaska trip was from last summer, but we will be in Maine this fall😃
Great! We start in 2 months.
Warren Goodwin congratulations! Wishing you the best of luck as you start out and safe travels! Thanks for watching!
Just stopped at Tony's and Portland Lighthouse on our way out of Maine. Thx
E House glad you enjoyed it! We just did that all yesterday! 😃
@@FindingOurSomeday that would have been neat to see y'all IRL. We're onto Boston! We're 11 days into our trip. Of course it took us 5 days just to drive the 2300 miles to Maine!
E House Hope you enjoy the rest of New England!
New to the channel, love watching the videos and finding out you are from Maine and from a few towns away from me.
Please enjoy Canada!! We will love having you!! Alberta Canada..
deaksbear thank you so much! Can’t wait to share Banff and Jasper! 😃
Love your videos.
Yea Hanafords!!
Planning a beach trip to Maine. Is Portland good destination? Meeting family and doing a house rental . Definitely want to do that lighthouse. Higgins beach! Aha!
I see your message, I’ll respond to that 😃
I DEFINITELY KNOW ABOUT POISON IVY / POISON OAK & SUMAC! TOO !
David Stillman sorry, man. That stuff is awful! 😬
BE SAFE ! ENJOY !
David Stillman all good advice! Thanks!
I am wondering about Alaska. Weren't you with Less Junk More Journey in Alaska last year? Anyway, love the adventures.
We're going to Maine at the end of September with our trailer. If you only had 4 days in Maine, what would you do? How would you allocate your time?
My $0.02.
RVMaineiacs excellent suggestions! We love Popham Beach as well!
Great video guys,
Thanks
Mark Reynolds glad you enjoyed the episode! The steak is actually a brisket, the trick with brisket is actually over cooking it slowly. I like my steak at around 135 degrees, brisket and a pork shoulder you bring to 200 slowly for the fat to break the meat down. This video is actually from last summer😳😃
Um, wasn’t that last summer with Nathan and Marissa? Your family is in their videos. Are you going again? Did we miss something?
What ship? My husband was on the Spruance as a corpsmen.
Elizabeth LaRose I was an EW/CTT on the US Monterey. Thank your husband for his service for me.😃
Do we have to wait till next year for season 2?
Chris Brandt 😂😂😂 nope!
Yes, sadly the left hand NEVER communicates with the right hand. 😥
You guys just went to the best places in Maine.
Marcelo Duelli Lopes there are so many awesome places in Maine, these are definitely some of our favorites and we so happy they are local! 😃
Not by a long shot :-) I'd say they barely scratched the surface!
RVMaineiacs so very true! We were home for the wedding and to see family, so we only got to hang out at local places. Though we have camped and visited up the whole Maine coast and state parks in Northern Maine, we have never RVed in our home state. Can’t wait to take a whole summer down the road to really explore Maine!
@@FindingOurSomeday Safe travels on your Alaska swing! We spend most of our time in the less touristy interior. After you're Alaska trip you'll be dirt road veterans so you'll be prepped to discover parts of Maine few get to! www.northmainewoods.org - Can't wait... headed up there Labor Day weekend, maybe another in Sept. and then a good part of October.
RVMaineiacs we will definitely be looking that up when we are RVing back home! Hope you enjoy every minute!
