Thanks for posting . GREAT video. I wanted to ask about the Lamp on Macro. I created a personality for a Chinese Fixture, but the lamp on Macro doesn't work. The lamp on command happens at text value 100 .I wanted to find out when I write the command, do I work out what percentage 100 is of 255 ? Thanks in advance

Because it's a percentage of the function range, not the the entire channel. Hope that's clear

I have the same beam 200 (fake Sharpy) but can't manage to make the lamp on function. Any help please
Does the lamp work in test mode?
@@TheBrightPixel Lamp can only be started only from the fixture menu manual control
@@EmilGeorgievLD Ok, so you know the lamp is working. Have you watched the videos? If you follow the steps in the first video, you can work out the correct DMX command required manually.
@@TheBrightPixel I'll keep trying but NO. Lamp off, reset, and everything is OK except lamp on function
@@EmilGeorgievLD For some fixtures you need to give a certain value for a certain time, and even others require a second channel to be in a certain state in order for the lamp commands to work. This is to try to prevent accidental lamp commands in the middle of a show. Do you have a datasheet for the fixture? What does it say about lamp on?
Not all Chinese fixtures are crappy as you say. Maybe even some original Clay Paky fixtures are made in China, but designed in Italy(if not whole fixtures, then parts of it, like motors, electronics etc. that should also have a good quality). You never know.
And yeah, we do pack Chinese Sharpies in truck, do concerts with them and they functioned and are still functioning good.
Surely, we had bought 2 fixtures first to test them cause you don't know what you'll get when you buy from unbranded manufacturer. Firstly we got really terrible copies of Clay Paky Sharpies, but then we found another Chinese manufacturer and did the same thing. That ones are still great and we bought another 18 of them.
Of course, if we had a lot of money we wouldn't experiment and would buy original Sharpies right away. The reason for this is that that we live in a poor country. If we even bought original Sharpies, we could not make the price higher cause nobody would pay more.
So, we are not insane!

All the information you need is in this tutorial. There is no point to make another one. The process is exactly the same.

When you update a personality you should be able to go Edit Fixture under Patch, then Update Personality. Instead of repatching the fixture each time.

Mostly yes. Making the personality is the same however you need to export the personality from the builder differently. You need to "Generate R20 files" from the save menu.
How to create spider library? I mean spider have 2 tilt.motor.
