. the tracking by blood its soo rewarding.. it feels like a real thing.. i actually miss the hunting sense little bit because of the info about the animals but i will probably start to get closer to identify the irregular antlers or determine the genetics some other way..the ranger difficulty really changes the whole dynamics of how you prepare and execute the shot
I always carry the .338 for the bigger game and long shots. I switch between the 7mm-08 or .223. 7mm-08 if I’m shooting at deer a lot. The .223 is just as effective with heart or brain shots on big game.
I found the .30-06 M1903 to be the best Tier 5 Rifle. For me it consistently double lungs both Whitetail and Mule Deer at least on Nez Pearce Valley and it's sure to be good on other maps once I get to them.
thank you, as I have unlocked everything in arms and I no longer want to make money, I have opted for the 308 and 338, otherwise the 243 and the 300 do the job perfectly
The best lossollt depends on the region you hunt… .300 and shotgun for swamp, .300 and 7mm08 for mountains, .308 and .223 for grassland and lowland forest, .300 and 7mm08 for highland forest.
Now that I have finished the perk needing grandpa's old rifle to be used I am usually carrying tier5+tier 6 rifles, unless I am hunting birds or small prey. My tier 5 gun is Pro hunter II and tier 6 gun is Carbon CL II. No idea on how to compare different weapons or ammo. As credits are piling up I could buy more or less every gun in the game and try if I can spot any difference.
I Recommend this setting: 243. Pro Hunter and the 338. It Takes out and dropped a Bighornsheep in the mountains at 1.400 Meters. DAMN POWER ! But I love it.
I always have the .308 on me, just in case I run into an animal I wanna take down ( from deer to moose ). The .308 can take down anything from 300m with a good shot, just don't hit the shoulder bone on big game from far away. If I'm after big game I also take the .300 as I like using it on big game from 200m and up or if I just feel like it. I don't really hunt waterfowl or wolfs unless it's a mission. I'm cleaning up the genetics on game I like to hunt, so any mature up to 3 stars or adult up to 2 stars ( unless the rack on the adult looks on big side ) will get shot. It's a very fun game. I have not been able to play a hunting game all day scince thehunter classic. I don't like ammo is free tho. Can't wait to see what new animals, weapons and items we're gonna get down the line.
I use the 308 and the 22. 308 good for all big game and 22 for birds and with a good shot a 22 can kill badgers and foxes and don’t loose any stars or meat.
@@ZaggiDK sikkert.
I play on a Xbox series S and the game is a little difficult to play. I am loving this game but quite a few of animals just disappear after I shoot them which makes progressing out of the beginning scope a little difficult
I believe it’s like 3 quick intro missions then u can do as you please but the missions help with early money and unlocking private properties on the map
Do the first tutorial missions to unlock the full shop, and I may recommend going to the lodges and picking up their missions to unlock the private areas. Or you can just hunt and pay for it but its expensive, totally worth picking up the lodge missions.
It's the most versatile one available in the game. Meaning like how you can literally hunt anything teir 5 and 6 instead dif just tear 5 animals. Outside of that guesstimate I have no idea lol

Loving the 7mm/300 combo! Don't typically look for foxes or badgers, but even the 7mm can be overkill on wolves at close distance.
Yeah I found that out the hard way loss 95% of the meat to sell from killing a wolf at 75 meters
Head shots

Great video! I just got the game last week and I am loving it. Realism from animal sounds to the way the animals act, minus the badgers.
Same here. Scout and Monoblock. For birds i use the morning silence. I dont feel the need for a tier 6 gun at all.

Best load-out? The Jeep! I can take all my guns reasonably close to anywhere I hunt for a quick change if needed.

Lovely channel, lovely game! I'm loving this game, my only grip with it is the hunting sense being blurry...

Just started the game so thanks for tips!
Im loving the 300 win but I’m saving up for the 308 next
awesome info tyvm

Cool informative video. When are slugs and buckshot available, instead of #3 birdshot?
Is lapua good?
@zaggi når jeg bruger 338 på whitetail og mule kan jeg hverken harvest eller sælge dem. Ved du hvad der går galt ?
Du skyder dem vel i stykker med så stor en riffel 😂

Most of the time i carry the .223 and the .308. both with the x18 scope.
What do you shoot with the 223?
@@Ryan-re1rs Foxes, wolves and Badgers, i did the American reserve sofar.
I like using the 300 win mag and crossbow
What is the best one for big horn sheep 150 m far?
This game would be better if more variety of sizes of deer spawned and if the scope crosshairs didn’t look like I was playing an arcade shooter lmao
For Transylvania i have the Monobloc and the Scout. Is perfect for all.
I'll try this loadout (scout and monoblock)
Hope they add 270

Does anyone know the deer grunt call radius on this game ?
I so need to pony up and buy this already.
Same .308 combo scout
Use a 350 7 mo8 anti threat away bag
Do I have to do the story mode or can I just hunt

Very Quick Missions then Shop open up buy anything
Do you know add bow
Don't under stand why .308 cost so much
Probably reflects the real life prices of these rifles. (Streyr REALLY wants your money)
