Thanks for the video. Bought one yesterday and previous owner didn’t have a clue about high beam switch is on indicator side. She was like there is no high beam light and I totally believe her 😆 ✊ 2007 model and only ridden 800miles
Thanks so much for this VDO! I’ve been riding my GN for about 2 months as my first bike and this has taught me so much I didn’t know (helmet lock?! Reserve position!?!). You’re a legend.
Just like the other viwer, I have a question if you still around... I notice that the magneto is full of oil, if I take the cover all the oil runs out. I understand its not ok that much, am I right? wich part should I change?...Im confused with the info I found on the internet, not mucha about it.Thanks in advance an happy new year from Argentina!
Its actually a very popular motorcycle in African countries as its usted as a cheap affordable delivery motorcycle. I have to be extremely careful wher I park-it cause it resembles a bladdy Harly Davidson in a 3- world country.
At 4:29 you pointed at the Oil filter and said it was the AIR filter!!! I'd suggest no one one takes the cover off thinking to clean the air filter.....they'd be in for a slippery shock!
Without the shutoff, if the carburetor float failed to close the valve tightly enough to stop the fuel flow, then gas would continue to trickle into the carb, overflowing the bowl and flowing down into the intake tract. If the intake valve were open, it would fill the cylinder.
Top speed is 100km as long as no wind or hills, but it's at 8500rpm so it shouldn't be done for long if at all, the d ring helmet metal part hooks onto the lock, can't do it with a ratchet style helmet
Well, the en125 and the Gn125 are two different motorcycles. The EN has a more 'sporty' look. The H and F are the same bike, just a few differences, for example. The newer 125F has a more uniform and rounded dashboard, with a fuel gage, and the turn lights and tail lights are a little smaller and rounder. That's basically it.
it would be about 250km for a full tank with a 12L tank if you ride without too much agressive throttle on flat. he did say 2 and half thousand but he's reading the tens column in white by mistake
Great job
Actually there are no english talking videos about GN's
Keep it up david
Thanks
@paul mcbride no they are not
If you rode one it must be a used shit
Just try a brand new one and then judge

Yep great bike, no miles! enjoy

Super popular in Latin American countries as well. Best beginner bike ever!
Nice video dude, i have one of theses bikes, here in Brazil, it called Suzuki Intruder 125.
Keep it up!
The for the kind words
In the Philippines this is called Suzuki Mola 125.
A good review.
Nicer looking bike than the 250 version. They did a 400 too.

Hi! At 3:13 (Petcock), why the horizontal position when stop?

@@davidkavanagh4966 Thanks so much for explaining! Just gotten myself a GN125 1 month ago and am still learning.
What’s it’s top speed and also how does the helmet lock work
Top speed is 100km as long as no wind or hills, but it's at 8500rpm so it shouldn't be done for long if at all, the d ring helmet metal part hooks onto the lock, can't do it with a ratchet style helmet
80mph if your going down a hill
Oil filter
My Gn is from 1999 and it smokes like hell and sounds like a diesel. Nice bike though.
Time for a valve adjustment lol
@@davidkavanagh4966 At this point, I think it needs a new cylinder head :)
To rich of a mixture if smoke is coming out your exhaust buddy, black smoke = too rich /blue smoke = your burning oil
Hi what is the differences between this and the gn250 version?
About 125 cc’s
There are two on positions for the key, what are they? Thanks.
On this bike it bypass the starter motor and only gives power to the lights for testing purposes. So it's a light test mode
@@davidkavanagh4966 thanks David.
What do you think is the mileage/economy per litre of this bike? I know it says 30 but more accurately, how much is it?
i have one and i get around 240kms to a tank, this usually costs around $15NZD or about $10USD
I've got one and from a full tank to reserve its about 60 miles and that's about 3 pounds 3.50 so it's really cheap
Good job sir like
What's the keyhole above the chain for?
It’s for the helmet
What year is that, looks so clean
It says 12 on the plate
How wide is it
Does anyone know the difference between gn125,125h and gn125f?
Also, the difference between en125 and gn125?
Id like to know aswell damnnit xD
@@npaz24
It varies from region to region. For example, Asia and middle east gn125h, Latino gn125f.
Various regions
Yep, I think they're just different names, we call them both 125 and 125h here in Nepal

Is this bike reliable?
It's like a Toyota Corolla, only change oil and it will go forever
@@davidkavanagh4966 hhhh i love that quote
The bikes bullet proof
How do you reset the tripomitor
the black know on the left you rotate so the numbers read 0 again
did i hear correctley 2,500 km for a fell tank or 250 km
it would be about 250km for a full tank with a 12L tank if you ride without too much agressive throttle on flat. he did say 2 and half thousand but he's reading the tens column in white by mistake
How long give mileage it bike
320km before reserve has to be used
