I drove on the new toll segments right before tolling went into effect. It was pretty nice to drive on, and seeing some of the open fields on the east side gave me some good vibes. Great video as always! 😊
I went for a drive on this on May 29 this year. I thought I kinda beat someone like you to it, but I saw the date in the bottom corner, and I’m disappointed 😿 I also have a camera, and wanted to film it

@@ProXimaShellsOG I doubt that. Segment A, which is what you're talking about, is considered by TxDOT to be unfeasible to build. They've got that segment on indefinite hold as of January 2023. That doesn't mean they won't build a Segment A, but it's likely not going to follow the original plan.
That's a right if way issue I bet. Somebody didn't want to sell so they did what they had to do. Plus this will be hardly used until urban sprawl reads its head. It's got a while though because there's nothing that far east but......nothing
Indeed, and I was thinking that the whole two new segments were going to be a four-lane highway but makes sense since very little traffic exist at the moment. Seems like they have some room to grow in additional right-of-way.

The newest segment of the Grand Parkway was complete and opened to traffic on May 20, 2022. Asphalt Planet would like to try that out one day.
I cant wait for you to cover SH-249's final segment once its finished. I heard its going to be a super 2 like grand parkway sadly.

TX SH 99 need to expanded from I 69 in Sugar Land to TX 146 at TX 96.
tx 99 will be following the route of existing FM-646 connecting I-45 to SH-146. I also hope they sign SH-146 between both grand parkways as SH-99
