Cassafrass Lee I'm glad I'm not the only that things that, I have yet to see her wear a color that looks bad. Kat should totally be a lip product model.
I wish it was winter here in the northern hemisphere! I’m burning a Christmas candle right now because I miss winter so much. Love your panning videos btw, they inspire me to use what I have (despite my collection being fairly small)
Yay, so excited for this! I love project pan videos, and I'm excited to see how you'll do with the products! I'm sure you'll be able to use up quite a few of these before the project is up :) x
Thanks for the clarification about the season in the intro 😁 I wasn't thinking about the different hemispheres and I was really confused for a minute 😂😂😂 (I am so dense sometimes 😝)
Hay! Excited for this new project pan! Here it is winter too I am in Brazil. I am also trying to use up many items before springtime! Good luck will be following your progress...
KitschSnitch maybe a face of project pan items + older LE/ Discontinued products? You can’t really find tutorials or GRWMs with products that are discontinued and I don’t think that’s fair to the 1000+ people who have spent the money on it. So if you have products that isn’t talked about anymore, I’d love to see a look with them!
Love your project pan videos! They have really inspired me. It’s also how I found your channel, and by extension Beauty News and Hailey’s channel. Now I’m obsessed! 💜
I have been so excited for this!! I think I'll be doing this next year. You're rocking it with the seasonal project pans + 1 month 1 palette ideas & videos xx
Blush is also the most difficult one thing for me to pan. Also brow stuff takes forever for me. Powders are actually quite easy for me. And all stuff to sharpen. I'm panning a bronzer, a blush and a highlighter all from Becca. And a stick foundation from Hourglass at the moment.
I need to set aside some of my older liquid lipsticks, foundations and concealers to do this with. I feel like I waste way too much product every year.
I am excited to see your progress throughout the next couple of months! I really downsized my collection a lot, so this year I am only concentrating on hitting pan on as many eyeshadows as possible and finishing up my old lip products (I am terrible at reapplying though) Other than those items, I only have 1-2 items in all the other categories, so I will naturally use those up anyways.
This is such a great searies. I'm totally inspired to try and hit pan and empty some products in my collection! Good luck and best wishes from Iceland. We are supposed to be in summer now but are probably having similar weather than Australia atm... 🌧️🌫️🌬️😬
Love it! Definitely have some stuff in a pan I won’t finish but think I’ll magically get through a lot of other non pan things by the end of this month. I love seeing you work on perfumes cuz I’ve been chugging through some since January and making good progress!
The LA Girl Shady Slim Brow pencil is super affordable and I really like it but in terms of micro brow pencils they really have barely any product so I'm much more inclined to use the angled ones. My current favorite is the Loreal Brow Stylist Shape and Fill. I just used one up and it took me waaaay longer to finish than the LA Girl one. Just more bang for your buck.
I am also trying to use up the nyx micro pencil, I agree that it is very hard to get any color on the brows but it is great for finishing touches though, my favorite brow pencil is the L'oreal one, it is not too hard or too soft. Also trying to use up my Fenty but I do not know about the Too Faced one I love the formula of it but the peach scent keeps me from reaching for it.
Kat have you tried the Pixi Milky Mist? I bought some last month and it completely changed my skin via using it in my skincare routine plus it does make my dry lizard face look overall better using it after makeup. You do your brows just like me which is amazing because I feel like hardly anyone uses brow powder (can't think of a a single UA-camr or Instagram person). Not sure if this is bad but I use my ABH micro liner along my lower lashes all the time, it's super subtle but makes a difference so maybe you could try that too and even make fake freckles to use up the nyx pencil. P.s. I find project pan so interesting and didn't even know what it was until I started watching you and Hailey last year.
Well done Kat for calling Fenty out and actually saying you're done with their BS. Vote with your money... it's not like Rihanna needs it anyway. Random question for you- I got around to swatching the Vlada Petal Metal highlighters in store today and was disappointed that they just seemed to blend away to nothing and left glitter everywhere? What's your experience with the one you have? Have you used it much?
Your project has inspired me to start my own. I’m going to actually try and keep a hold of my used products for the remainder of the year and add up their value - I’m interested to see how much I can get through. I find panning blushes so fucking impossible - been working on a 3ina one for the entire year and have barely made any progress. Also, you should definitely try/review 3ina makeup! No one talks about them but they’re amazing and super well priced for the quality.
The fact that it's winter for you right now just blows my mind... but what screws me up even more is that Christmas is in your summer season. PPPOOOOFFFFFFF mind blown. Do you get snow? My ignorance is showing, I know. But everything I remember learning about Australia during childhood is that it's warm, tropical and killer beaches.
We get snow in the mountains but generally not in the cities. I am in Melbourne which is not at all tropical. I am down South of the country and are geographically close to Antarctica, so we are the coldest city/state in mainland Australia (Tasmania is even colder). The Northern part of the country is tropical but that doesn’t represent the whole of Australia at all
All I was taught about Australia in school was that it’s really hot, there’s kangaroos, The Great Barrier Reef, Steve Irwin, and big spiders. Literally all I ever was taught in school 🤦🏻♀️
You guys! How can you believe any of this? We all know Australia is not real! 😂😂😋😋 Though for reals, I have a had time with the concept of Christmas in summer. It's a personal failing though!
kyorrrl There's a lady I watch and it's mind boggling to see her decorate for Christmas in the summer. She does a beautiful decor layout, beautiful decorations (almost belongs in a magazine), and she decorates her Christmas tree like a professional.. but yet it's summer, and she has snowflake or snow decor, birch logs, etc. Mind fucks me every single time.
Hi Kat! I love your project pan videos, and I've binged them all since finding your channel. Have you thought about what you want to do for project pan next year? I think I'd enjoy it if you continued this series but lined it up with your series, like you're trying to do this go-round. So start your winter in December for "2019." I like the seasonal aspect, and I think it's really worked for you.
Hi lizee, no I haven’t yet decided what to do next year with my PP but I don’t like to start things In December because that’s a busy time in general and there are holiday releases coming out so I like to take a break from PP. Also are you saying you want me to do a seasonal but line it up with the northern hemispheres seasons?
That's fair! And oops, I wrote winter/December, but I meant to say summer/December. As in, it aligns with the southern hemisphere seasons, but you don't have to rush to finish a matte primer in the dead of winter. Sorry about that!
That's a beautiful blush color. Also, have you ever tried the Covergirl Clean Matte BB Cream? I know a lot of people consider it to be one of the best drugstore foundations for people with oily skin.
Really want to try something similar.. Some products I'm constantly running out of where as others i can't get rid of 😂 Do you ever get bored of the same perfume? I always struggle with scents after a while. Especially since i was pregnant with my little girl. Might have to try using up 2/3 over a bit of extra time
When you start crying when you see the word “winter” because it’s 111*F(almost 44 degrees C) and have almost forgotten what it’s like to not be sweating #sendhelp
Few questions; 1a) how the hell do you rock every single God damn lipstick colour? 1b) did you made a deal with the devil? 2) how do you get product back into an airless pump? 3) can you can Hayley please do a beauty news tour?
I love your project pan videos and your progress is so satisfying to watch lol I'm from the northern hemisphere and thinking about starting my first project pan in autumn (I just cant be bothered to wear any make up in summer it's way too warm) but what really confused me was the bit about fenty beauty. what happened there? can someone update me??
Do you think the concrete minerals eyeshadow would work on super pale skin? Looking for something more subtle without chunks of glitter. :) You've done well to have nearly finished it!
how do you do project pans and not end up hating the products? cos i one as well, but i usually end up hating most of the products and giving them away before the deadline lol..,, anyways, great video 💖💖
Thanks! I only pick products that I know I like and are happy to use. If I don’t like products I just throw them out instead of trying to use them up. If for some reason I start to hate a product during a PP then I can choose to finish it or take it out of the PP. I am not sure if that has ever happened because I generally target products that have been in my collection for a long time and I know what I think of them 😊
Fresh scents don't tend to last all day on me (they do last most of the day), but I still prefer them because heavy musky fragrances give me a headache. The only fresh scent that lasts all day on me is CK2 and it is my all time favourite scent :)
Isn't the Fenty foundation very drying? I've been interested in trying it, because it's one of the only oil free, non comodegenic foundations I've found in my shade. I keep hearing how drying it is, so I'm a bit hesitant.
Up the moisture in your skincare routine and/or add a hydrating primer. Let that set in for a few minutes. If its really that drying use a finishing spray thats dewy (MAC Fix+ is amazing!). I tried it out last summer and didn't have an issue but I'm allergic to an ingredient used. Could you get a sample to try out?
I personally don’t find it drying at all, but I have oily combo skin. It’s a typical matte foundation, if you have drier skin you should never wear a matte foundation
KitschSnitch well I have oily skin, sometimes combination during the winter, but I also have really bad acne and random dry patches, or patches of peeling skin. The skin on my nose will peel off in little strips, even though its covered in oil... I find that very matte foundations (or really any foundations) and powders emphasize any pimple scabbing or dry patches/peeling skin I have. It's completely unnoticeable without foundation, but with it my skin looks absolutely horrible. It is not attractive. Without makeup I have obvious pimples everywhere, but with makeup I have obvious peeling and scabbing everywhere. I don't really know what to do. Matte makeup dries up my pimples and other areas, and makes them all scabby and peely, but I also have oily skin, so dewy makeup just looks all slick and wet in the worst way. I know drying out pimples is good for getting rid of them, but it's certainly doesn't sit well under foundation. I really need to find a proper exfolliater, I think. I use a salicylic acid toner and lotion, but that isn't really doing it for me. I want to get some stuff from The Ordinary, but I'm kind of lost as to what acids I should get. I honestly don't even know what skin type I have, because there's oil everywhere, but my skin feels so rough and dry at the same time. I need to go see a dermatologist 😂
I am PERSONALLY OFFENDED that I did not get a notification for this video even though I obviously have the alerts on. Also, why are you talking about winter?!! It is summer im expose you
Honestly, other than their initial launch fenty has really done nothing that's been revolutionary. Even without the complete bs that they did to beauty news, I just haven't found anything i really loved except for maybe one product. Their foundation looks really mask like and fake on my combo-oily skin. Also the fragrance in it isn't really a friend to my skin. Their powder is probably the only product i use regularly. I just kind of expected more from this brand and they have just let me down.
Omg SHOOK at the fenty tea, tbh I’ve used a fair amount of their products and disliked everything the foundation showed texture where there was no texture and oxidised like a bitch, the matchsticks moves the foundation under it and were v stiff and the brushes were horrendous lol
Let’s get this blush panned. I have faith in you Kat!
You have the prettiest eyes. You also look great in every lipstick color.
Anne Banana went to an Italian restaurant yesterday, 25 degree Celsius and they were playing Christmas songs the whole evening! 😂
Getting pan in that blush will be such an achievement! Blushes are so hard to pan!
You made me miss my train stop! Oh well, more time to watch the video.
Sorry!
KitschSnitch I'm not😉
I really like the idea of seasonal project pans!
Of course I wish you luck with this project pan, Kat 💙
Love watching your project pan videos, you always inspire me to hit pan on my older products)
Hay! Excited for this new project pan! Here it is winter too I am in Brazil. I am also trying to use up many items before springtime! Good luck will be following your progress...
Yay winter twins! Good luck with using up products too 😘
I really need that lipstick. It looks so pretty on you
I think it would be nice to have a GRWM with all your project pan products!
These products don't create a full face of makeup, but I tend to use them as the base to most of my looks/GRWM videos
Literally 11.30 pm in France but still watching
I remember the first time I ever finished a full stick of chapstick, it was the most satisfying thing I have ever done. ✅

Good choice for fragrance! I have that Daisy perfume as well and I think it is so much better to wear in Winter and Spring!
I'm glad I am not the only one xoxox

yippeeeeeee .. new pan stuffs ! I am loving that bronzer ! also .. that fucking blush tho ! It never stops ! love youse x
Love ya honey! hopefully I can see you beautiful face tomorrow xoxox
See, your brown-bronzy eye looks nice & precise. Mine looks like I rubbed dirt on my eyelids and have yesterday's mascara on 😩
Haha browns don't suit everyone, but funnily enough champagne shades and light shades look like I have puffy eyes :P
Lmao

Where I live it’s been getting down to minus 6 or around 22 Fahrenheit. Still 44 is bloody hot. Not sure which I would prefer.
Leonora Lionheart Where I grew up regularly gets to -20 F and -28 C in the winter 😳 So this hot weather is torture to me
Few questions;

Allana-Meg Ward she has a good lip size/shape and she is confident :) I’m too shy to wear bold colours.
In the makeup breakup episode where they did that colourful primer with the balls that was a “how many pumps” you see them put it back in there
Loved the video! Cheers from Canada!xo
I agree with the Fenty boycott they are stupid if you can’t generate hype about products
😘
I love your project pan videos and your progress is so satisfying to watch lol I'm from the northern hemisphere and thinking about starting my first project pan in autumn (I just cant be bothered to wear any make up in summer it's way too warm)

Love you videos Kat!
Why don't you get the elf primer with the airless pump? It supposedly only lasts 2 weeks!😂😂😂 but seriously, good luck this season! 💋💋💋
Chrystal Woolf she has done a video on this on the beauty news channel where they spoke about this! 😘😋
Sorry if this been already asked but how often do you wear makeup a week?
Generally 5-6 times a week. Not always a full face
You can do it!!
Good luck, Kat!
Thanks Glass xox

KitschSnitch that makes sense, ill keep this in mind for my future pan projects. 💖💖
good luck!!!
it takes me like 8-10 months to go through a 50 mL fragrance!
I had a mini of the Daisy fragrance but I felt the scent didn't last. How does it work for you Kat?
Fresh scents don't tend to last all day on me (they do last most of the day), but I still prefer them because heavy musky fragrances give me a headache. The only fresh scent that lasts all day on me is CK2 and it is my all time favourite scent :)

Jackie Johnson my friend who has very normal skin, I remember she wore it, end of the day her skin looked dry. Put me off.
try a hydrating primer with it

I'm anti Fenty.
