He had perfectly normal nails (especially if you are used to guitar players who like using their nails). Fast food never helped anyone. What he might want (if he cares) is a nutritionist to help him gain. It would likely be a rough start, just like with any major diet change, but once someone gets into the routine and habit of a healthy lifestyle change, it soon enough becomes second nature.

On a serious note, anyone who listens to your explanation and doesn't understand is a liar. When you have longer fingernails for a period of time the tips of your fingers do become hyper sensitive. I think many people don't realize this and are so irritated because he's obviously well groomed yet longer fingernails in men is assumed as a grooming oversight. I went from biting my nails to letting them grow back and forth and the initial feeling is very weird. If you let them grow and tap the desk it feels weird that it doesn't touch your fingertips anymore, but if you cut them, suddenly the mushy feeling is back and the part where your nail used to be gets so cold and exposed

I admit when I came across your channel and started watching ( I'm a sub now ) for a bit , I did notice your fingernails but mainly because I'm just a very observant individual as it is. Up until seeing this video I did think it was strange but I was never angered or thought less of you. I appreciate you taking the time to explain and you do take care of them. So you have opened my eyes too and people just need to get a grip and not worry so much about other people but care about themselves. I will do the same and just because someone doesn't follow the " norms " doesn't mean they are different it means they are an individual. Thank you for humbling me even more then I usually am. Fast food never helped anyone. What he might want (if he cares) is a nutritionist to help him gain. It would likely be a rough start, just like with any major diet change, but once someone gets into the routine and habit of a healthy lifestyle change, it soon enough becomes second nature.

On a serious note, anyone who listens to your explanation and doesn't understand is a liar. When you have longer fingernails for a period of time the tips of your fingers do become hyper sensitive. I think many people don't realize this and are so irritated because he's obviously well groomed yet longer fingernails in men is assumed as a grooming oversight. I went from biting my nails to letting them grow back and forth and the initial feeling is very weird. If you let them grow and tap the desk it feels weird that it doesn't touch your fingertips anymore, but if you cut them, suddenly the mushy feeling is back and the part where your nail used to be gets so cold and exposed
