Joe Cocker's covers were better than the original versions. I never thought I would hear another artist do that. Grace Vanderwaal is doing just that but with a better voice. She doesn't need to do covers because she is such a prolific lyricist. Love her originals, love her covers. I guess I'm sounding like a Grace Vanderwaal fan, well I am. She is the best.
Grace's covers are simply the best (always betters and improves the original). No one does live performances equal to (or close) to Grace's live performances. The closest I've seen were Joplin and Cocker but they had a stage full of backup.
