  • Trophy House Taxidermy owned and operated by Joe Lemberg out of Blue Ridge, Texas, is not your traditional taxidermist. Joe is a passionate taxidermist, but even more so a life-long hunter, outdoorsman and wildlife enthusiast. He and his team are dedicated to the hunt and the experiences that go along on those adventures in the field. Joining us for his first taste of African Hunting.
    Joe joined us on safari this past July on his quest to offer the complete taxidermy experience by not merely capturing the memories from a great hunt via a door to door service with artistic taxidermy, but by being a part of the journey that is a safari. Joe spent seven memorable days taking in everything that the East Cape has to offer. From the coastal forests in the south to the great expanse of the Karoo and the many sights and scenes that go along on a hunt such as this…

    Great film but it really struck me that the puppy on the back of the African safari truck is going to live a more fulfilling, more exciting life than 99.9% of the Starbucks sucking Suburbanites in the US. I'm jealous of the puppy.

    Do you guys find that international hunters normally shoot too high and hit the spine by luck, or are they aiming for the spine on your suggestion?

    • @skylerspringsteen5730
      @skylerspringsteen5730 3 роки тому

      A lot of outfitters will suggest spine shots because it immobilizes the animals and it’s usually a clean miss if you do miss.

    A Safari is where you camp and live in the bush for weeks on end. Living in luxury is not a Safari my brother, you need to understand that. Sleep in the bush with nothing else then you will experience Africa.

      Stem saam met jou Gerhard. Afrika is in die bos met n ou gebrande ketel op n vuurtjie.
      Maar ek moet by sê die luuksheid van Afrika het ook n plek wat baie spesiaal is. Daar kan jy die egte gasvryheid ervaar soos net Suid Afrikaner kan bied.

    What type of Zebra was that? What caliber did he use for the Zebra?

    • @Wahatoyas
      @Wahatoyas 2 роки тому

      That would be a zebra zebra, this species is in fact more zebra per square inch of zebra than a normal zebra which is only zebra per square inch of zebra
