Inexperience played a lot in nz losing this tournament final. You can see the new player combination thats new to the pressure and when you play a long day. You might expose weaknesses more . As the play went through, nzs shape lost out. The wingers weren't on the fringes because they werent confident of being there to finish the plays out. The opposing team if experienced can smell this fear/ compromise and its only a matter of time before the knocking of the door gets answred. Overall the team was tired and new so the morale and self belief was hard to muster
Err...did you know that the referee is a New Zealander (a kiwi man)who was living in Brisbane at the time of this game all that long ago..so his neutrality would have been suspect at best...
