He was an interesting character no doubt. But he really didn't have a place since he used abilities from Voldo, Cervantes and Nightmare. His kit was hardly unique. He would be interesting if at least his style returned. Or some new form of it.

I don''t get why Necrid gets a lot of hate. I mean sure his status as a hero or villain is questionable and he looks like he was made by Todd MacFarline to sell action figures, but I really like his dynamic; being able to turn a demon soul into any weapon and come on, he looks so cool! He's pretty much a true Malfested.

Using Necrid against great players, you either win at perfect or get absolutely destroyed 🤷
Very underrated character. You could absolutely overwhelm people with Necrid. It tool a top player with an elite tier player to beat me with Necrid- and he wasn't even close to my best character. He was perfect for hyperagressive players that knew around attacks and had quick reflexes. You could end people so fast- as long as you didn't give them a chance to recover. Against great players, I would either get perfect or lose badly with Necrid

Yeah, he was basically a combination of Cervantes, Taki, Voldo, Nightmare, Astaroth, Ivy, Yoshimitsu, Talim and Raphael, with some of his own stuff, like a few unique punches and kicks, as well as that flame move that changed distance depending on what button you pressed.

Necrid was a really interesting Mimic Character. Unfortunate he only appeared in SC 2.
I think an own Style (not mime other Characters)

I was just thinking of something. The PS2/XBOX/HD versions get doubles. PS2 gets double Tekken characters (Heihachi, Yoshimitsu), XBOX gets double McFarlane (Spawn, Necrid), while the GC version only got Link, and my guess is having that Zelda theme re-arrangement compensates for no secondary character (like Zelda or Ganondorf).

Necrid can only materialize three weapons even though he copies moves from other characters, including some of his own moves. Also, no one can undesrtand what he's speaking but it looks polish.

Necrid is my main n favorite character in SC2 besides Link, id really Like Necrid's design is like a mix between a Star Wars n Warhammer 40K character!
