PUTIN'S WAR: Frontline in Ukraine stable! “Remarkable because the Russian pressure is great!”
According to Ukrainian reports, Russia has attacked the port city of Ismajil with dozens of drones for the second night in a row. The port infrastructure was damaged in the attacks, the local authorities announced on Thursday. Two civilians were injured. According to the governor of the Odessa region, an administrative building was also damaged.
The Ukrainian air force announced that it had intercepted 25 of the 38 combat drones. Three more drones were “lost after flying over the state border with Romania”.
Since Russia's withdrawal from the grain agreement in July, the Danube ports on the border with Romania have become important transshipment points for Ukrainian grain exports. The agreement had allowed Ukraine to transport grain across the Black Sea despite the war. Since withdrawing from the agreement just over a year ago, Russia has regularly attacked the ports on the Danube.
According to local authorities, three people were injured in a Russian drone attack in Ismajil on Wednesday. After the attack, the Romanian military searched for drone debris near the border with Ukraine.
