By 1971, with all four musicians together, Freddie now changed the bands name to Queen. By 1973, when they still were fighting to "break out" and become famous-they were all almost ready to quit. They weren't making any $$, and were still struggling, with managers and promo guys ripping them off. But Freddie was more aggressive than ever, and started writing song after song, until finally Seven Seas of Rhye, hit the UK charts. Queen was becoming a household name. Deacon, was the last of 4 bass players that had come and gone, and after that- everyone was set in place. Freddie on vocals /piano, Brian May on lead guitar, and Roger Meddows Taylor on drums. I'd say thats a reason to Smile. #TOTP

I saw them seven times live in concert and attended The Freddie Mercury Tribute at Wembley in London. Don’t mean to brag about it. But I’m very gratefull that I could experience Queen in my life. It was magic!
