Join my mandolin quartet! This video is a lesson on how to play the Christmas classic 'Carol of the Bells'. It is a relatively simple tune, so, we're going to arrange it as a 4 part mandolin quartet would do . ... and you are the lead musician! I will walk you through the melody and arrangement first, then we'll gather the group and play through my arrangement of the piece.

Thanks Mike, nicely arranged, a lovely melodic tune and great to play along with. I've heard it before but not sure where. I'm thinking i should open my patio door early Christmas morning and play along with this on my Spark amp, letting it drift across the lake and park at the back of our house starting soft and low and build it up to a medium volume for a few minutes.

huge thank you Mike, i love this tune and to see it broken down like this is awesome. this would be fun using a looper and looping the ABC and playing the D. something for me to work on
