- 60 BPM (Beats per minute) Metronome
I designed this metronome series to be as simple and minimal as possible yet of the highest quality.
My goal was to design a metronome with very precise time accuracy, that can be played loud to cut through loud musical situations without being annoying.
I purposely avoid any accent, to keep this metronome versatile. As a result, it can be used for any time signature or time signature change, and offer just what is essential : A steady time reference.
I used Ableton Live to record the sound and process it. My goal was to get the best transient possible to allow a very precise time reference while at the same time keeping the sound dense with a moderate crest factor. I crafted the frequency response of the click very carefully to avoid harsh frequencies where our ear is very sensitive.
In order to keep this metronome lightweight, i decided to avoid any animation that can distract the attention of the musician.
This metronome is great for personal practice, in particular for drums, percussions or electrical instruments where some metronomes struggle to be heard but can be used by teachers or schools providing a solution for classrooms, where the loudness and size of a real metronome are just not good enough.
That's all, I hope you'll enjoy this series.

@Mr. Beffu Hey, what's with the language!! :)
This was my late husband's favourite tune. We played it on our wedding and we all danced to it and had great fun... I miss you, honey, it's been 18 years, 7 months, 2 days, 5 hours, 46 minutes and 13 seconds since you've been gone.
You’ve been keeping track?!

@@namethem00 it's one of the best things for me to stay grounded and present .. I feel a lot of panic and anxiety from time to time.. a metronome really helps me just stay in each moment , along with my breath. Got a digital one on Amazon because of how much it helps

Just amazing for my piano I needed to fit all the demisemiquavers in and it was the perfect speed!! Thanks!!
whats genius about this is that it can keep track of how long i practise my instrument LOL but this is an awesome money maker
I know this 30 min song slaps, but you can also use it to workout. For instance 4 by four positioning. You can use it for any workout, but push ups are a best way to start. Make your way down with your push up by each beat. When you get the fourth beat you should be down and simply go by four beats when you push yourself back up. 4 by 4 metronome workouts

I really liked it. It helped me with my saxophone
Ayyy I play saxophone too 😂😌
Ayy it helped with my trumpet
How do the seconds on the video get out of sync with the ticking?
Hi, the time display on UA-cam is not always very accurate. It's a rough indication that sometimes lag a bit.
Eyes and ears are not always in sync.
it never gets out of sync, the difference between the tick and when a new second rolls over is always the same, which in this case is the amount of time that takes place before the initial tick
@@DrumsetFundamentals If it is out of sync I don't notice, thanks for making the video though,it helped me practice my tuba!
Hi Milan, Don't worry it's precisely 60 BPM, only the youtube numbers get's out of sync. Your tuba practice should be fine :)
Thank you so much! It helps a lot and is the right thing i need for my violin. I'm so glad you made this 😌😌
Hi Donny, i'm glad you like it ! happy practicing !
Oof I'm using this for my violon to:)))))
I am always a tiny bit late for everything. Also I live in a country with countdown traffic lights, and if I look away from them, when I check again I've always slipped behind the countdown by a few milliseconds. Seems that my second counter is stable but slow. So I came here to retrain my sense of time. So glad this beat is so sick.
Tbh I put it to 1.5 speed so I could have 90 bpm which is basically my heartbeat. Super good for focusing
I like how it beats exactly every second
Only video on youtube useful in 7 different ways.
0.25x 15 BPM
0.5x 30 BPM
0.75x 45 BPM
Normal 60 BPM
1.25x 75 BPM
1.5x 90 BPM
2x 120 BPM
≤0.5x is so sound awful
no doing this for 0.5 for example makes each beat twice as long
the fact that 64 people liked this comment is embarrasing

Fun Fact: Each Beat Is A Second.
Mi alma jamas te va a olvidar
(Solo)
Cree en mi
Incluso si tú te vas
Mi alma jamas te va a olvidar
Solo piensa en mi
¿Acaso puedes ver todo nuestro amor en aquel sueño?

The 2003 digitally remastered CD has a couple of bonus tracks.
if you listen to this and think about your heartbeat it makes you feel so aware. normal heart rate is av 60bpm, you start to feel your heart beat in sync and it almost feels manual and perfectly monotonous.
This is the resting heartbeat (the lowest on the scale) so it's great for that!
