      If you can even read, how is he promoting that. And in what way do immigrants destruct white race? When in actuality immigrants are the ones who built Canada or USA. America or Canada would not be countries without immigrants. Instead of saying things like that educate yourself, there is google.

      @Dapper Canuck My wife was born in Iraq. She came here as a child because her parents were fleeing war. Believe it or not, they didn't want to live in the country ran by Saddam Hussein. She now spends time teaching other immigrants how to speak French and how to integrate into Canada.
      Fuck off with this "Immigration is bad for a nation" shit. Everyone knows that a country can only handle so many immigrants in a year, obviously. This is just a video of a guy helping some people integrate into the nation they moved to, that's a good thing!
      If you're the kind of guy who just goes around on any video that says "immigration" to get in arguments with people then dude, you have to re-evaluate how you spend your time.

      @@tomkelly8827 From this video alone, it seems like the American and Canadian governments are almost exactly the same in basic structure with the only difference being the Queen, Governor General, and the Senate being elected by the Prime Minister. In the US the Senate is elected by the people and state governments have senates in their legislators. Also, Idk about Canada but the Senate is often referred to as the "higher" of the two. Not necessarily the more powerful one but the upper body of the legislator. Also, the electoral college which creates an odd system where the President can be in the congressional minority.

    • @Mrnoddingdonkey
      @Mrnoddingdonkey 3 роки тому

      @@OrigamiMaster06 the prime minister and president are very different. The PM is not directly voted for. The Party with the most seats chooses their leader, who is just a regularly elected MP, to be the prime minister. But technically they could change their leader or the leader could leave the party but remain in the House of Commons as an MP but not be the prime minister anymore. There would not need to be another election and a new prime minister would be chosen by the ‘ruling party’. Canada also doesnt have a two party system so it really makes the systems completely different. There are hints of the republican division of powers in Canada but the queen doesnt really equal the ‘one’ that the president does and the prime minister doesnt really either.

Your ABOOT's don't bother me at all; in fact I've develped quite a hunger for them -- along with German, Russian, and pan-fried eels breaded with cornmeal. This presentation was absolutely riveting. It seemed amazing to me that Canada's elected officials share their time between legislative and executive duties, unlike the separation which we have in the U.S. Trump would not have lasted long under the Canadian system. Nontheless, I'm OK with the system that we've got, and I imagine many Canadians are content with their system, too.

    Awesome presentation JJ! Looking at the way the Canadian government works juxtaposed to the United States Government really offers insight towards how similar they are on the majority of cases but the differences are incredibly apparent and sometimes even hilarious. 37:07 "It would be very confusing if the Canadian Government and provincial government could make laws about the same thing... laws would contradict" this is exactly a problem in the US for state law vs federal law issues like marijuana being legal in some states but illegal nation wide. The Supremacy Clause in the constitution is supposed to fix the issue with federal taking priority but as far as im aware state laws are for the most part left unopposed.
