Found myself here given your previous recommendation. I reached out about Go Play and ended up in contact with Caleb at yalls corporate location. Fast forward a bit and there’s no go plays down in TX but I just put a deposit on a ‘25 Jayco 260bh with Caleb and plan to do a trip with the family to pick it up at the Longview location. Wanted to thank you for all of your help and am glad I was able to work a deal with Bish’s.
I have the 2024 264BH (Baja) and love it so far. Pulling it with a ‘13 F150 5.0 short bed no prob. I enjoy the extras that come on the 264 Baja (solar, enclosed underbelly, bigger fresh/propane tanks, clearance, small interior things) and paid $3k more than what the 260 is advertised at. Thank you very much for your videos, Josh! You’ve definitely helped us find the right RV!
Love love love this!! These are exactly what I keep looking for. Something that will sleep my family of 6, and be towable by a vehicle that will fit my family of 6. We use camping more as a less expensive hotel than to really live in. Currently we tent camp with a small cargo trailer for all the gear. I keep looking for a no slide bunkhouse with the dinette and jack-knife sofa. This is great and also the GoPlay 26bh.
I like it, we're not going to live in it we're going to eat and sleep. It's perfect for that with plenty of room for rainy days. And no slide means less to go wrong.
This is a great option! I would have gone this way back in 2022 if it were available to save some $$$. I have the 2022 264BH (because of Josh's recommendation) for a family of 6. Very similar to this camper. Excellent layout. With just a few mods / additions, it is a very capable unit, even for a busy family of 6! These units are also great in the cold / snow (MN here) and are light on propane - very efficient.
Hello Josh. I have seen a side fold bunk ladder in a new Jayco 199mbs. I have not been able to find it anywhere. Would it be available to purchase from Jayco for install on the 260bh?
I like the glass in the cabinet doors over the dinette, wish the one on the other wall. Love the cups holders in the sofa. I like this one. I like the tankless hot water tank. I like the fact that the 264 has a window in the top bunk. Other than that, don’t see where it offers more than this one does.
Almost bought a 2022 model. But watched your video and ended up purchasing a 2022 freedom express 257BHS for a little extra room. And we love it! Tows like a dream behind our ‘23 F150
Very nice floor plan. I like the lighter decor. Though I am looking more for a double axle couple’s camper in the under 26’ length. Jayco did well for a first time buyer family unit.
We are looking at finally getting out of our ‘16 Starcraft Launch 16RB, and getting into a new Jayco Jay Flight SLX 260BH. We’ve got 4 kids now, so we are pretty taxed out in our old hybrid. We can’t all fit into a pickup, and our tow vehicle is a GMC Yukon, so leaning towards a no slide to save on weight. This is at the top of my list.
Hi Josh i that I must be getting old I thought you said Vishes off on the left foot already. No problem with the top bunk being no windows I would be using it for storage and putting the mattress on the lower bunk for thicker bed. In the bathroom i would have to get some kind of storage for the toiletries & bathroom produces products. Talking about starting a family but going to happen to me any time soon .. If the price is right i would be happy to buy this travel trailer . So be safe have fun happy camping !
Hey yo, Unka Josh, just a quick "Merry Ho-Ho" and "Happy New Nerd Year" from me to you, yours, and the rest of "The Nerd Herd" from Doc, in the Great White (actually still green, grey, brown, damp and dreary) North of southern Ontario, Canada....Peace out and # 37 4LIFE !🦫🍁🎄☃
Pricing at www.bishs.com/rv-search?stocknumber=260bh&s=true&manufacturer=jayco You'll see a variety of figures based on shipping distance and model year as well as equipment
If i can get a new 2023 J Flight 264BH with E2 WDH installed for 23k out the door (no sales tax NH) that would be the obvious choice vs something like this correct? Has 27" TV, Solar Pkg and Mini fridge outside. Thx for your reply.
That is a great no slide family TT at a very reasonable price. 12V compressor fridge is a great plus, nice bunks for the kids but the tube/shower is not needed, just a shower pane. The thing I really like is the tank capacity, really good for this type of TT. Plus, Jayco does build a good quality product, this is a winner.
Interesting point about the cost of windows. What about the cost of tall windows vs small windows? I’m thinking what the ramifications might be of a tall window across both bunks vs just the small one for the one bunk.
I'm looking for a double axle, no bunk beds, recliners instead of a dinette, maybe a Murphy bed, that is light weight. Is something like that available?
This has been a great floorplan for years👍I would just prefer to spend a little more money on a different model with Goodyear tires, a ladder, some solar to make the RV capable of camping off grid, a TV, a porcelain toilet, a shower door and a decent bathroom fan😊
@@BrittMFH Did you watch the entire video, because Josh ASKED at the end of the video which model would you prefer, and my answer was that I would prefer not to buy this bare bones entry level RV and instead opt to spend a little more money for more quality standard features👍
I have a Murphy bed and bunks in my 2021 Keystone Passport 219bh, it has a window in the bathroom and I opted for a Maxx fan the will pull air through the coach when the AC isn't needed. Storage drawers in the kitchen, a pantry, the dinette benches have drawer access, also under the sofa/Murphy bed there are drawers. Love the excellent use of space the Murphy bed affords and it's a full queen bed! There is plenty of kitchen counter prep space between the stove/oven and the large sink. I use a roll-out rack over half of the sink which adds space and convenient dish drying rack. All this and NO slide!
Noooooo, don't take away the 264BH that's what ive been saving up for!!! ...and it's not that much heavier. What I want to know is - what is the difference between Jayco SLX 260BH and the 260BHW - after i scanned the qr code I scrolled down and found the 260BHW to be closer to my purchasing goals. They appear to be the same floorplan, but the only info I can click on sounds like the 'extras' that come with the 264BH. Speaking of extras, Goodyear's don't mean a thing to me except that I'll be replacing them alot more often than literally every other tire out there on the market.
Hey Josh! Do you think you could find a Forest River 19SMBL to do a review on? The floor plan is suuuuper unique but almost every video I've found seems to be really quick and not as detailed as yours tend to be.
Curious to know who would buy this trailer for $3k more than a Go Play 26BH?? To me the full wall private bedroom makes the Go Play the better option. We love ours!
I can’t leave am item by item breakdown here and currently lack a direct comparison video for you as it turns out They’re way more similar than different
Josh I truly appreciate what you do but I believe I've mentioned this issue before with this layout. If there is a fire between the door and bunks the person in the upper bunk does not have an outside escape. No upper windows would spell disaster. Just my 2 cents brother.
Hmm.. I don’t have a lot of experience with that pairing. But comparing wheelbases to the common half tons you’re about 20” shorter in average With proper anti sway hitching I think you’d be ok for casual and shorter distance towing I don’t know you’ll love it cross country or in wind zones
Jayco doing jayco, the 26bh was the premium one then the 264bh became the bare bones. Then the 264bh became the premium and then they stripped out more and called it the 260bh.😂 time to innovate this floor plan not strip it even further.

I really do like the 26BH go play
I’m not exaggerating when I say it’s the rv I’d use for my family today
Lacks counter space. Easy solution, replace booth with breakfast counter and chairs/stools for counter space and more room to move around.
I've seen this done on a 264BH! What and excellent mod. Have you done it?
I like that idea
If you put a height adjustable leaf on the end of the kitchen counter you now have a counter extension and an office desk.
That.. is a slick idea
@@JoshtheRVNerd Thanks!

👍🏻 This layout does fantastically for a casual camping family -- speaking from personal experience

I have the 2022 264BH - the top bunk window is nice, but DOES NOT OPEN on my unit. It gets very hot and stuffy up there without an opening window.
Great idea!!
I have a 2021 4Runner 4x4 would it pull it with bags in the springs
I still love the jayco , ANS this one can be pulled by a 1/2 ton, very good, thanks

You can find the speed rating on the sidewall of the tire.
Josh does this take the place of the 264bh? What about the 224, do they still make it?
Replaces the 264 yes
224 still seems to be out there

Josh, are you predicting that the 274bh takes over for the 264?
Unsure. The 264 isn’t likely to stay with the 260 out now

The 274 was killed off last year.
Another informative video.👍🏾😄
More to come!
Good looking trailer.

Could I pull with my Ford F150?
Most likely. Cant say with 100% certainty without actual truck specs though
